Two weeks since she had given Yang the command, Na Jaeeun found herself getting impatient. She must talk to this Johnny guy before he could transfer all their employees to other shareholders or her plan would blow up. Yang wasn't someone to take too long when it comes to running errands so she wasn't so keen to the idea of waiting for a two weeks time.

But when the young butler knocked on her bedroom door some time during the third week while she was having an online conference meeting with her clients, Jaeeun found herself anticipating what he has for her.

Normally, Na Jaeeun was the kind of worker who doesn't want to be disturbed during working hours but knowing that it was Yang who asked for her, she was more than willing to just turn the video call off and schedule another meeting some other time.

"Ahgassi, are you busy?"

The female excused herself from the meeting before pressing on the mute button of her laptop. She walked closer to her door, opening it lightly. She didn't even bother hiding her excitement when the butler sneaked a small piece of folded paper on one of her pants pockets. She smiled at him wildly. He bowed lightly.

"Took you so long," she mused albeit showing a smile on her face.

"Sorry, I had to be wary of my surroundings," was Yang's thrift answer before the young lady send him off to do his other duties.

Closing her door, Jaeeun decided to continue her meeting with her clients and just proceed with her plan afterwards.

For now, she needs to work.

Three weeks since Taeyong delivered the news that the Lee Inc would be able to accommodate 1/4 of the New CT Construction Company, the Seos were still struggling with the remaining employees.

New CT is a large company so they can't believe that the business is going bankrupt immediately with just a few months.

Now, one thing's for sure.

The incident was planned and they were sabotaged.

By whom, Johnny was about to find out.

His visit for the day to his grandmother's orphanage ends that night and he was walking to where his motorcycle was parked when all of a sudden his phone rang.

Confused as to who might be calling him at this time of the day, Johnny fished out his phone from his pockets. Who knew it could be some potential industry to accept their remaining workers.

He frowned at the unknown caller ID. Nevertheless, the guy on his mid-twenties pressed the device on his ear after answering the call.

"Hello?" he asked politely.

"Johnny Seo." Came the shrill voice and he swear he could feel a shiver run down his spine. It wasn't helping that he was alone outside of the orphanage and it was a windy night his leather jacket wouldn't do anything to protect his self from the cold.

"Ah, yes?" He started unsurely. "Speaking."

The line went silent for a few good seconds and the guy realized he hasn't asked one important question.

He opened his mouth to ask the female about her identity but she had already beaten him to it.

"Meet me on this day, a week later. I'll help you through this crisis."

His frown deepened even more, his grip on the phone tightening. He doesn't like where this conversation is going. "May I know who you are?"

"Listen. I'm doing you a favor, Seo..." at the mention of his surname, he confirmed who was on the other end. "Don't tell anyone about this call or hell will break loose. I'm willing to help the remaining employees of your failing company if you meet with me."

He huffed at the ridiculous female. Even at this time, she's being a pain. "What do you want?" He gritted his teeth.

Just like earlier, she avoided his question. "Don't go moping around like some kid. I'll be texting you the location and the time for our meeting place. Don't bring anyone—"

"Are you threatening me?" Johnny scoffed.

She continued anyway. "Don't bring anyone if you want us to finish early." She ended the call abruptly not giving the guy any chance to retort something back, something to probably put her on her rightful place.

Huffing in frustration, Johnny glared at his motorcycle that was parked by the side of the road.

He doesn't trust Na Jaeeun but for the sake of the employees of their company, he was willing to take the risk.

He heaved a deep sigh.

After ending the call, a smirk instantly found its way to her face, her eyes twinkling. She placed her phone on her bedside table, before she shifted her gaze out of her balcony, where the full moon shines brightly more than ever.

Watching the moon was one of her secret hobbies. Actually, it wasn't a secret but because nobody ever placed their attention to her, this little hobby of hers was unknown.

Except for him, that is. She could still remember his reaction when she told him the reason why she asked her room to be changed.

The first step of her plan was done. She's now onto the second step.

Reaching for the phone once more, she quickly searched for that familiar nunber on her contact list. Pressing the device on her ear after she pressed the call button, Jaeeun heard a couple of rings before the one on the other end of the line answered.

"hello?" She heard him ask and her smirk widened even more.

"Hey, Yuta!" She chirped, her eyes bright and her smirk dropped only to be replaced by a huge sincere grin.

"what do you want?" She heard him grumbling and she couldn't help but laugh.

Nakamoto Yuta was the only one who knows about her hobby since she was a little child.

Upon hearing her laugh, Yuta's brows immediately furrowed. "Yah—" he was supposed to guilt trip her for calling just now but unfortunately, she cut him off.

"You still hacking?" She asked swiftly and that caused one of his brows to arch.

"You still alive?" he retort.

Jaeeun sighed before answering him. "Look, I'm sorry okay. I know I've been absent these days but there's some things going on in the house so I can't squeeze any time for myself. I'm sorry" she muttered apologetically and the line went silent.

Na Jaeeun may be a prideful and scary vixen yo others but when it comes to Nakamoto Yuta, her childhood friend, she was a different case. Unlike other kids her age, Yuta didn't befriend her just so he could benefit but because of sincerity.

That's the reason why she could freely show her real self to him. That's the reason she was at ease with him and when she's with him, she doesn't need to put on a mask because she knows, Yuta will never judge her or her choices.

And she loves him for that.

"What do you want me to dig this time?" There was a sigh of defeat from the guy and the gir
