Hearing that from the enemy made him want to laugh hysterically. But after seeing her no nonsense face staring straight at him from across the room, Johnny Seo knew that he was tangled in a mess dirtier than he thought it was. 

Their families were like Montague's and Capulet's of the modern era. They were the top warring clans when the talk comes to the business topics.  Possessing huge wealth and vast connections, both clan was pronounced as one of the most successful families in the high society. 

He scoffed. Surely, this vixen here have some tricks up her sleeves. 

"And why would I do that?" He asked, crossing his arms on top of his chest, almost mocking her. 

The fox dared smirked before answering him and he found it as the most annoying thing in the world. 

"Simple." She shrugged for a start. "You're clan is left with nothing but a mansion with no furniture at all and a dying business right now and you're determined to climb up the ladder of success again, even if that means selling yourself to the devil for the sake of your beloved employees." She cooed as if she was talking to a toddler, her gaze fixed at the tall guy.  

"But how will you save your dying company, right?" She giggled. "Admit it, Seo. You're family's on our mercy now. Don't you think?"

The guy uncrossed his arms to fist his knuckles, ready to punch the girl straight in the face if only she didn't speak again. 

"But let me tell you something..." She trailed off purposely, eyeing his fist on the side of his body. She smirked, "are you going to hit me?" She smiled sweetly at him. "Even if I tell you I hate my family too?" 

That finally caught him off guard. But after seeing that she was smirking again, he was quick to build his walls once more. 

"Come on," the girl groaned, rolling her eyes. She glared at him, "we could be Romeo and Juliet, with a happy ending! But of course we'll get it separately!" She rolled her eyes at him seeing that he's standing like a tree. 

Really, this douche bag here seems like he couldn't understanding a thing about what she's saying. 

Can't he understand her proposal? Or was he just plain stupid?

"What would I get in return?" The young man asked and she stopped herself from jumping up and down on her place. 

She frowned so she could mask the excitement she's feeling, "well, duh! You're going to get back all your royalties and I will get the freedom that I want! End of story!" 

"We won't be meeting again?" 

"No! And there wouldn't be any complications!" 

"Sure?" He eyed her suspiciously. She regarded him boredly. 

"What are the terms?" 

She smirked, yet again. "Now we're talking!"
