Chapter 9: When They Collide

"Your brother is dying"
 

A dead silence countinued after that one sentence. Tao could not see the expressions the doctor or Lu Han were making, but as for his expression, it was one that he knew whole heartedly, it was an expression filled with shock and fear, he quickly ran away from the spot he was hiding at, not even wanting to hear Lu Han's reply. He ran as quickly as he could to Se Hun's room, as he ran down the hallway all of a sudden he bumped into a tall person in a black suit, as Tao bumped straight into the tall man he instantly flew back, while the man didn't even flinch. Tao was on the ground and couldn't see the man's face. All of a sudden he saw a hand right in front of his face, and heard a language that was very familiar to him:

"Nǐ hái hǎo ma?"

Tao quickly looked up and saw a beautiful man in front of him, with cold eyes as sharp as glass, but with a voice filled with worry, Tao quickly took the man's hand and stood, then said:

"Shì. Xièxiè"

The man formed a gentle smile on his face, and then spoke:

"Haha, I knew you were Chinese. Sorry about bumping into you just now."

Tao was still amazed but then quickly bowed and said:
 

"Oh no, I'm very sorry, it was my fault, I apologize. Now please excuse me I have to attend to something."

Tao quickly ran off, while the man was just left there with a blank face, he wasn't even able to put together what Tao said just now, he let out a sigh and giggled to himself, he then saw something was on the floor, he picked it up and was certain it belonged to the person he just bumped into. He turned around but Tao was already long gone, he put it in his pocket and countinued to walk down the hall, until he saw a man, he called out:

"Hey! Lu Han!"

Lu Han quickly turned around and asked in shock:

"Kris?!"

During all that time Tao was still running towards Se Hun, he was put in a VIP room for special treatment, and just Tao's luck the elevator broke down and the VIP room was on the top floor, so Tao just had to run up to the top floor, but he honestly didn't even want to know how many floors there were, he'd just feel worse, so he decided to just run.

After some time he finally climbed up to the top, he burst thru the door, while sweat was running down his body, he saw Se Hun on the bed looking thru the window, Tao panted heavily, Se Hun turned around to face Tao, he looked at him with apologetic eyes and asked:

"Did they tell you what's wrong with me?"

Tao looked down, trying to catch his breath and said in a muffled voice:

"Yes..."

Se Hun turned back to the window and said:

"Oh, I see..."

Tao walked up to Se Hun and smacked him on the head. Se Hun turned around in shock, not letting out a sound, holding on to his head, Tao shouted in his voice:

"You idiot! Why didn't you tell me you had anemia?! I almost had a heart attack when you fainted!"

Se Hun looked at him confused, he wasn't sure what was going on, to what Tao countinued:

"Ugh, god! I can't believe you were that excited to see your brother that your blood pressure went up and you fainted."

Se Hun let out a soft giggle below his breath. He then said:

"Yeah. Sorry Tao. I didn't want to worry you... Is Lu Han here?"

Tao sat down next to Se Hun, and answered him in a dark voice:

"Yeah, he is here. I'll go get him, but....before that, would you tell me what that was all about?"

Se Hun turned his head to the side and asked in an innocent voice:

"What about what?"

Tao cringed his teeth and grabbed Se Hun's shirt speaking in a calm yet threathning voice:

"Are you ing kidding me?! We are talking about Lu Han here, the monster that almost destroyed your life. You didn't talk at all after that for one whole year. And now you don't see any problem with hanging around with him? You just forgave him like that? Don't give me that !"

Se Hun was truly shocked by what Tao had said, and all of a sudden Se Hun's eyes became teary, he was shaking and then he finally asked Tao in a whimpering voice:

"Why are you doing this?"

Tao quickly let go of Se Hun's shirt and walked out while slamming the doors violently. When he slammed the door a vase fell down and broke. Down Se Hun's face rolled a tear, he looked at the broken flower vase, and the flowers that would soon wilt, he countinued to stare at it as he only said to himself:

"It's happening again..."
