Chapter 8: No More Lies

Taken aback Tao just stared at Se Hun, and Se Hun just started at Lu Han who had a smirk glued on his face. All of a sudden Se Hun got up and ran into Lu Han's arms, it was a rollercoaster of emotions. Tao was totally lost, he didn't know what was going on, and why Se Hun reacted like that. But even more surprised than Tao was Lu Han, Se Hun clung on to him so tightly and was almost crying, Lu Han could at that very moment be the most shocked person on the planet. He tried to pull away from Se Hun but that was mission impossible, Se Hun had no intention of letting go.

There was a moment of dead silence, no one spoke, it's not like they could think of anything to say anyway, and it's not like this moment needed any words. They just stood like that for some time, and then all of a sudden Se Hun's grip loosened on Lu Han, Lu Han quickly pulled away from Se Hun, and the moment Lu Han pulled away, Se Hun fell to the ground, rendering Lu Han motionless, Tao quickly jumped to his feat, he quickly ran up to Se Hun and started shaking him and shouting his name over and over again, all of a sudden he looked at Lu Han with misty eyes and yelled out:

"What did you do?!"

Lu Han didn't know what to do he just stood there in shock, it was unclear if he even heard Tao or not, Tao left Se Hun to lie in the soft grass as he stood up, he jumped over Se Hun and grabbed Lu Han's collar, his eyes were filled with anger as he got closer and said in a very threatening voice:

"You monster! Why did you come back?! Get out of my sight before I cut you in half you sorry excuse for a man!"

Lu Han did not say a word, as he silently went out of the garden and on to the high way, he got into his car and drove off. Tao just stared at the car's fading image as it went farther away, after he couldn't see the car he suddenly broke out of his trance of anger, he rushed over the fence to Se Hun's side, he panicked again, and even if he couldn't forgive Lu Han, he just wanted to save Se Hun, he quickly calmed down and called an ambulance, they were pretty far from town so he knew they wouldn't be there fast, he quickly lifted up Se Hun and put him on the sofa inside the house.

A few minutes later the ambulance came, they took Se Hun and Tao. As they quickly pushed Se Hun in the emergency room, and once again Tao was completely useless, not able to do anything. The doctor stepped out for a moment, Tao quickly ran up to him to see what was wrong, the doctor let out a big sigh and then finally spoke:

"Are you his guardian?"

Tao was taken by surprise, and didn't know how to answer to that question, but in the end he said:

"No, I'm his friend."

The doctor gave him a worried look, Tao was just about to ask him what was wrong, but all of a sudden an unknown voice came from behind him:

"I'm his brother and legal guardian."

Tao turned around and saw Lu Han, he wanted to get angry at Lu Han again but couldn't since he was so worried. The doctor came up to Lu Han and asked:

"Could we please speak in private, sir?"

Lu Han nodded and followed the doctor, Tao sneaked after them as they went to a waiting room, they sat down and then the doctor said in an uneasy voice:

"Sir, I'll get right to the point..."

He took a long pause and finally said:

"Your brother is dying."
