Chapter 1: In Whispers We Speak

Know that feeling when you're sleeping, and suddenly you hear the crack of your door opening, unknown footsteps and the sensation in your mind thinking you're going to die...well Tao felt like he was going to die when the maid walked in and threw the curtains wide open. Oh, the agony. Dreadful sunlight pounced into the room, making Tao groan and making him hide himself under his bed sheets. God at that very moment Tao felt like putting the woman on a stake and burning her, the feeding her bones to the dogs. The maid finally spoke after Tao's groaning had stopped, she said:

"Master Tao, Master Se Hun has come to pick you up for school, please get up or you'll be late."

Tao was thinking of more ways to obliterate her soul until he finally stood up, smiled and said:

"Is that so? Thank you very much for telling me miss Beautiful, I'll come down in a moment, just let me get dressed......"

the maid blushed and her eyes started gleaming up like she was expecting something, but still she didn't move a muscle, Tao then moved his head closer to hers and said:

"Or is it that you would like helping me get dressed?"

The maid quickly ran away in embarrassment, Tao smirked and thought to himself: "Works every time...nobody can resist my charms....MUHAHAHAHAHA now back to forming a plan for world domination.....I mean of more ways to kill her for opening that damn curtain"

Tao quickly got dressed and headed downstairs, there his best friend Se Hun was waiting for him, Tao lit up like a Christmas tree and ran over to Se Hun at tremendous speed glomping him along the way. Se Hun didn't even flinch, I mean for him it was an every day occurrence, plus he really enjoyed being in the company of Tao, so he didn't see the problem with that. Although he was a little disturbed by the maids creeping around every corner thinking of many possible fan fictions. Tao quickly dragged Se Hun to the table so they could eat breakfast together, like everyday, it was normal, I mean they were best friends since forever, and Tao felt comfortable only with Se Hun. After they had both stuffed themselves, Se Hun looked around only to see maids creeping around AGAIN. Se Hun looked at Tao, who yes was the heir to the mafia but was probably the most laid back person he had ever known and asked him:
"Hey, why do you only have female maids?"
Tao looked at him with a confused look on his face and pointed out:
"Because if they were males they wouldn't be maids, duh!"
Se Hun rolling his eyes continued the discussion:
"No, I mean why do you only have female servants, they are really starting to creep me out."
Tao immediately formed a smirk on his face and answered all cocky:
"Well if they weren't females how would I be able to play my little mind games with them? Besides our butler is a male."
Se Hun already thought the conversation was getting annoying but still said:
"Yeah, but he's gay!"
Tao answered with a dumbfounded look on his face:
"So? I honestly don't know what you are implying or where this conversation is going, Se Hunnie"
Se Hun heard a couple of fan girl squeals in the background that made him shiver, he just wanted to get it over with and said:
"Never mind, drop it, let's go to school."
Tao had a look of excitement and annoyance on his face(if that is possible o_O) and rushed a maid to get his bag.

No surprise for Se Hun or Tao, the moment they came out of the car all that you could hear....oh wait you probably couldn't hear because your ears would be bleeding from all the screams of the fan girls. Tao came up to a couple of girls and shared little whispers with them, Se Hun didn't even want to know what he was whispering to them, Tao came back up to Se Hun and smirked making Se Hun shiver from disgust. A couple of seconds later, when they escaped the crowd of never ending fan girls, Se Hun turned around only to hear fangirls having a cat fight over god knows what.....probably Tao, since I mean he was dating most of them. Tao wanted to drag Se Hun to the dojo they had on campus to watch him while he is training, but the dojo was already surrounded by fan girls just lying in wait ready to glomp. Since they saw the dojo couldn't be their escape either they decided to go up to the rooftop. Moments after they had finally felt peace without any fan girls squealing, there it goes again. And to their surprise, it wasn't for them, they thought the fan girls had finally found their secret hideout but actually pulling up in front of the school gate was Zhang Yi Xing, or as he likes to be called Lay, god what a stupid name, Tao had his eyes locked on him, first things he thinks everyday he sees him:
"#1: I'm so much hotter than him"
"#2: He will never get laid with a mug like that, and his name, Lay, doesn't help him in any situation....*coughstrippernamecough*"
"#3: Ok enough of his ugly face got to go increase the number of my fan club members!"

After one more day of showing of his y, Tao went home with Se Hun, but to his surprise in front of the house was standing his father, he almost never talked to his father, but he still had a lot of respect towards his father, even thou he wasn't among the best souls.

His father had a very serious look on his face, so Tao decided to think of all the possible things he has done wrong in the past....week....he thought real hard but nothing came to mind.....so he started thinking if he really set that maid on fire or was it just a blissful dream...INCEPTION!
His father looked him straight in the eyes and said:
"Tao in two years you are going to become the leader of Black Dragon, in terms of education and martial arts you are at the top, but we still need to fix that overly sarcastic temper of yours and also find you a bride."
Se Hun gasped at what Tao's father had said, and Tao started nodding his head in approval until the words that were spoken actually processed thru his mind and he yelled out:

"BRIDE?! Wait, what....? A freaking bride....A BRIDE.....I'm only like 18.....what about all my girlfriends?! THEY WILL BE CRUSHED, I feel so bad for them...."

A person could clearly see that annoyance and frustration that Tao's father had to keep bottled up inside from all the trouble his son has been causing him, Se Hun surprised by the demand and totally disgusted by Tao's defense mumbled:
"It's not like you love any of them"
Tao agreeing with Se Hun said in approval:
"Truth be told......but still father I will NOT get married."

Tao's father saw that this conversation wasn't going anywhere so he asked Tao:
"Then Tao, what would you like to do for the next 2 years?"
Tao's face lit up, and he immediately formed a smirk on his face, he then said:
"Well then, I'll be going with Se Hun to England, to pick up some European chicks...*cough*...I mean study and become a reasonable adult."
 

Se Hun's jaw was already on the floor, I mean English was not a problem for him, but was he really prepared to spend 2 years in England with his idiotic friend.

After that, there were a lot of discussions, arguments and who knows what not. But time flew by in an instant and by then they had finished high school and it was time to depart.

Sure in the UK you enter college when you are 16 years old, but that wasn't a problem for Tao and Se Hun since they would just go to some normal international school, like all the good rich kids.

Tao flew out of his house and glomped Se Hun who had next to him about a million suitcases, Tao looked at him weirdly and asked:
"What do you need all that stuff for, we are just going to buy our stuff in England!"
Se Hun gave him the you-are-such-an-idiot look and told him:
"I'm bringing along all the stuff that we need that you probably don't know exists...like fresh underwear."
Tao just smiled at his friend, grabbed his hand, dragging him along and shouted to the world:
"Well, we'll be off. Bye bye my cute kittens, you shall be replaced by many other new kittens, if ya know what I mean."

That made Tao cringe his teeth in annoyance but he still played along with Tao's dramatic act. Seriously, for Se Hun everyday with Tao was like rewatching Romeo and Juliet over and over again.

After finally arriving at the airport Heathrow, Tao literally ran out of the plane, I mean the trip was so long, he felt like he became one with the chair.

So the first thing they did, was go to their new college, buy some things and go out to dinner.

The next day Tao woke up early and decided to take Se Hun to a road trip, Se Hun was too exhausted to go, so Tao decided to go alone.

Since it was still really early he just got dressed, hopped into his car and drove off. He drove for hours and yet when he got to some kind of deserted beach it was still only 7 AM. Tao really liked it there, it was very beautiful and peaceful, but at the end of the beach there was someone standing there. Tao started creeping around to see who it was. He was shocked when he saw a beautiful girl with bloody crimson hair. He never saw hair like that, and even thou he couldn't see her face he already knew she was beautiful, plus she had a "killer" body, something Tao really liked, that in the end he would come to regret. Tao came up closer and quickly put his playboy act on, he said in a sweet voice with perfect English:
"You must be in the wrong place - the Miss Universe contest is over there."

The girl suddenly turned around, and let's say she looked like a fairy, just radiating beauty, she looked at Tao with a puzzled look and asked:
"excusez-moi?"

Tao after hearing a foreign language started to panic inside his head, he was wondering if that was French, a language he didn't know or if he was just drunk or something, nope it was French...Tao started stuttering making his accent show:
"Excuse me, d-do you-u-u speak-k E-E-E-English?"

The girl chuckled at him and pulled out her hand:
"Well duh, silly! My name is Alizeé, what's your name?"
Tao felt the mood lighten up, he was really enchanted by this girl, and he had never felt like that before, since all the past girls were just toys, he took her hand and shook it:
"I'm Tao, it's a pleasure to meet you."
The girl stood there smiling at him and not letting go of his hand, Tao didn't mind thou, he wanted to stay like that forever. The girl smirked and asked:
"Can we be friends?"
Tao without thinking replied:
"Sure, we can be friends forever."
Alizeé then took something out of her bag while still holding Tao, she then spoke in a sadistic manner:
"I kill people for money, but since you are my friend I will kill you for free."
Tao confused by what she said, asked:
"I'm sorry I think a I heard you wrong, could you repeat that, plese?"
Tao tried quickly to escape her grasp. But Alizeé wouldn't let go, she took a gun out of her bag and pointed it to Tao's head, and whispered to him:
"Oh no, too slow. Thanks for playing."

and just BANG.
