Chapter 6 : Perfect

Tiffany’s POV

Taehyuk went straight to the stage and sat on the wooden stool. He adjusted the microphone and started strumming Taeyeon’s guitar. The customers were watching him.

“Annyonghaseyo, my name is Kim Taehyuk. Today I will play you guys a song called perfect by Ed Sheeran”

Taehyuk smiled before started. Everything was silent and people were just listen to him

Flashback

“But Fany-ah-“

“Please, Tae leave me alone. I really want to be alone right now” I turned around my chair to avoid her.  We were inside my office and we just got into a silly fight that day. I heard her sighed.

“Fine, I will wait you at outside” Her tone sounded disappointed. I didn’t reply her

“And I’m sorry” She said before I heard the door being close.

I let out a long sigh and opened my eyes. A photo frame on the shelf caught my attention. A photo of me and Taeyeon were having a wide smile on our face. I took the frame and caressed it.

“Babo, how I can stay mad at you too long when I see you smile like this. I already miss you” I let out a small smile and put the frame back on the shelf.

I turned around when a louder applause could be heard from outside my office, getting my attention.

“Hm?” I stood up and walked out from my office. There, I saw Taeyeon on the stage, sitting on the wooden stool with her favourite guitar.

“Annyonghaseyo, everyone” She spoke through the microphone.

“What is she doing? It’s not her turn to perform tonight” I mumble alone, crossed my arms.

“Tonight I’m going to sing a song for someone who is special to me. Actually, I just made her mad at me today. Hope, I don’t need to sleep on the couch tonight” Everyone was laughed at her and Taeyeon just smiled while rubbing back of her neck, feeling shy.

“Babo…” I let out a small smile.

“This song name perfect by Ed Sheeran. So, let’s start”

And all of this happened a week before the accident

Taeyeon’s POV

I plucked the strings, creating a sad melody which seems to engulf every person in front of me.

I found a love for me

I looked up as I continued plucking and singing and saw Tiffany was watching me on the right side of the café. She was looking at me but her face was expressionless. I continued singing as I can’t get my eyes off from her.

I finished the song and earned applause from the people around.

I know… this song was the song I sang a week before the accident and again, today, I was singing from my heart, trying to tell her everything will be fine, that she will be okay. If only she could hear what I am saying in my mind, if she could just listen to my heart saying, I am telling her…

“One more time! Your voice is so beautiful!” One of the customers said.

“You guys wanna hear again?” I asked through the microphone and earned a yes as answer.

“Okay, I guess you guys know this song. This song is dedicated to someone I know. I don’t know if that person will understand this but I want her to know that I will always be in her heart, in her memories and always be here for her” I could felt her eyes on me but I ignored the stare and started strumming the strings of guitar again. I let myself get wrapped by the soothing melody of the guitar as I started to sing.

I stared at the tabled where she was staying, a smile curved on my lips but her expression does not change, staring deep into my eyes. Her eyes were fluttered when the night lights shine up the place
