Donghae kept looking at the door from where Hyukjae went out. He couldn't control a rush of feelings emerging inside him. He was beyond ecstatic knowing Hyukjae likes him.

Having a big smile on his face and a heart beating fastly, Donghae finally got up to go home.

Having showered and changed his clothes, Donghae waited eagerly for a text from the elder. Should I text him first? No. He should. He likes me. Donghae grinned to himself.

Lying in his bed, Donghae held his phone tightly in his hands waiting for it to beep. He checked the time. It was quarter to eleven. Hyukjae should have reached his house by now. His expressions turned melancholic. Maybe, I'm the only one too excited for this. I don't even know how to behave in such a situation. He grimaced. 

Drowning himself in miserable thoughts, his phone beeped. He held his breath to peep at the screen only to look at the familiar name. 

FROM: HYUKJAE 

Did you reach home safely? 

Donghae nodded his head furiously. All this time, it had only been his mother who ever asked him this question. He could feel the resurgence of familiar feelings in his little body. 

Biting his lower lip, he quickly typed a reply. 

Yes.

After a minute, he received another text.

Did you have your dinner?

Yes.

That's great, Donghae. 

Donghae was confused as to what he should reply next. Having no experience ever of talking to someone like Hyukjae, he hesitated. Finally, a bulb lighted inside his mushy brain.

Did- Did you have dinner? He face palmed after sending such a lousy reply.

I couldn't eat. 😔 Came the quick reply.
