I struggle as I keep it real from day to day basis. I'm a working student. A foreign student from Thailand who happened to land a scholarship from an international arts school which is situated in the heart of South Korea. I take up performing arts course, specializing in the fields of music and dance. My family is just in the middle class so even though my father sends me an allowance monthly, it's not enough to cover all of my expenses because living in Seoul is not an easy feat so I'm trying to find as much part time jobs as I can. My dream is to become an artist renowned in the world. Well, dreaming is for little girls and doing it is for determined girls like me.
"we got a delivery request to Gangnam!" I heard the manager says as he bells the ring to gather our attention. Since no one is volunteering, "I'll do it.", I said firmly and boldly which my boss showed positivity and appreciation at how hardworking I am, even though delivery task is for boys only. One delivery guy checked out early because he's sick and the others are still on delivery and no one has come back yet. "are you sure you can do this? You can still back out and wait for the guys." Karen asked, who is a working student like me and we got a bit close since I started working here. She's two years senior than me. "sure I can. Don't worry." the boss overheard what I've just said.
"Way to go Manoban!", he said cheerfully as he handed me down one box of still piping hot pizza and the exact address of the customer. It takes only a Kore or less ten minutes ride from Itaewon to Gangnam so I take my time pl
