“Joohyun, come here,” A fair skinned lady with long black hair called out to the small figure playing in the floor. “Mah” The baby said as she was carried by the lady. “We need to wash your face, you ate too many jellies.” The small baby just nodded her head while staring at the lady, who was looking at her with no expression, just a poker face. The bell rang and the lady ran towards the door whilst carrying the baby, forgetting that they had to wash up. The lady opened the door and smiled so wide seeing the handsome man standing in front of the door. “You're here” The lady said as she pecked the man with passion. “Oh, hi, Joohyun” The man leaned down and smiled at the baby. The lady chuckled as she invited the man inside, and she walked towards the baby’s room. “Joohyun, play here for a while” The lady said as she left the baby inside the dark room with toys scattered all around the floor. Small Joohyun saw her mother leave, but she couldn't get her mind to figure out who that unknown person was. She was sure that it was not her dad. “Yah! Wake up!!!” Seulgi threw the pillow at Irene’s face. Irene opened her eyes and was welcomed by Seulgi’s grin, she groaned and turned around. “What are you doing in my room?” “I told you that I would pick you up today” Seulgi said while poking Irene, wanting the latter to wake up. “Why are you so early then?” Irene asked while yawning and looking the time in her phone. “Because I wanted to come early duh” Seulgi replied. Irene just chuckled and woke up, heading to the bathroom to get ready. Seulgi was dense and stupid, but cute sometimes, that Irene approved of. She was glad that Seulgi was her friend, only true friend. She didn't trust a whole bunch of people who wanted to get close to her. Why would she?” Irene replied back while checking herself out in the mirror. “I saw her downstairs drinking coffee” Irene's eyes widened at the new information but then later just sighed as she thought it was her father’s actions. She then just proceeded in taking a quick shower while leaving Seulgi in her room. She had to has a talk with her father about this new bodyguard system because it ain't helping her. Her dad's overprotective after all and she knew the reason for it, but getting a bodyguard was so extra. Irene walked out of the bathroom with wet hair and saw Seulgi on her bed, flipping the pages of the photo album she hated the most. “W-Why are you looking through it?” Irene shuttered, which was new. Seulgi gazed Irene and just chuckled, “Your baby pictures are so adorable though” Irene quickly snatched the album from Seulgi’s hold and asked, “Where did you find it?” Seulgi just shrugged, “It was lying in the nightstand” Irene closed her eyes and sighed as she remembered she was looking it through the previous night just like always. She gripped the photo album tightly and just wanted to burn it somewhere but her heart didn't desire for that. “Let’s just go” Irene said as she threw the album somewhere inside her closet then grabbed her bag and rushed down with Seulgi. “Let's go to the arcade after school” Seulgi suggested. Wendy followed suit with them as they settled down on the chair, ready to eat a healthy breakfast prepared by the house chef. “You can eat with us too, Wendy” Seulgi offered. “No, she can't” Irene said with a monotone voice, munching her fried egg.
