Chapter 18
When It's Time to Let Go
Sweat dripped from his brow. A slave driver would have been easier on him than this. Dancing was one of his favorite things but because he had to work without his partner, his choreographer was ten times harder on him. He heard the music shut off and he stopped moving.
"Why don't you take a break? I'll go get us something to eat."
Yunho collapsed onto the ground and nodded. The choreographer left the studio, his feet slapping against the wooden floor. The room regained its silence. He pulled out his phone, contemplating the buttons. He punched in numbers and looked at the name it brought up: I♥Food.
He chuckled as he thought of his always hungry dongsaeng. Then he thought of the lies that his dongsaeng had hidden from him. He was done being angry. He'd spent the last few weeks, dealing with everything that had happened in his own way. He'd been dancing and boxing, losing himself in everything and just thinking. He was almost ready to go home.
Janel walked back in and bent down in front of Yunho. "You've got mail", he announced in heavily accented Korean. He threw the mail onto Yunho's chest and walked back out.
Yunho groaned and sat up. There was a thick envelope marked SMENT. He threw it off to the side and opened the other letters: bills, offers, etc.
He was almost ready to go home. He wasn't quite ready to read anything SMENT had to say.
