After the biography was put on the market, Jennie's reputation became better. People saw her from a different point of view. Others didn't buy it, they think those are all lies and will never stop believing she is a cold , no matter what she does and she is fine with that. As long as she has her friends, fans and Jisoo.

As for Jisoo she instantly became more famous as an author. People read her other books and were impressed. In fact she was hired by a new independent book publisher as co-owner and first release. It sounded fishy at first but once she met the person who gave her the offer she realised it's no scam but the real deal. Obviously she accepted which is why Jennie and Jisoo have both been busy and spent less time together.

Jennie was all over the world, advertising and modeling while Jisoo stayed at home in front of her notebook and typed her manuscripts before the deadlines. Today is a reading and Q&A of Jisoo's first book for Purple Publishing, her new book publishing company. It's going to happen in the bookshop where Jinyoung works. Jennie suggested to buy a new bookshop in order for her not to go there but Jisoo just laughed and reassured her girlfriend that Jinyoung is just a friend. A friend who has a girlfriend. Her name is Nayeon and they met in the Murakami fanmeeting after Jennie snatched Jisoo away and caused a ruckus. Turns out Nayeon was very shocked and scared about the attack on the mall and Jinyoung comforted her, after that they got on very well.

Taehyung was given a job as model for Hera from Jennie for him to move out of their mother's home. "Told you you care about him," Jisoo but Jennie only shushed her and crossed her arms with a shake of her embarrassed head.

Chaeyoung eventually said yes and started dating Lisa. The Thai was so happy she passed out and Jisoo had to carry her to a hospital. Jennie laughed the whole way and Chaeyoung ate a slice of a pizza Margherita. 

Seulgi and Joohyun got engaged. Their wedding is very soon and the entire bunch is invited. It goes without saying that Joohyun warned all of them not to ruin their wedding by doing anything extra or stupid. Jennie rolled her eyes and said she has never done any overly extra gesture in her life before which made Jooyhun erupt in laughter and warn her again.

"So the book reading," Jennie said over the phone since she was in Paris. "I don't think I can make it... Do you want me t–"

"No, Jen," Jisoo shook her head. She already knew what she was going to suggest. "You don't have to neglect your job for me. Listen, it's totally fine if you don't make it. There will be other times. It's not going to be the last book I write."

"But it's the first in your new booknerd company..." Jennie sighed. "I as a girlfriend, don't I? I mean Jinyoung will be there and I won't! That's terribl–"

"Calm down okay?" Jisoo said softly. "Jinyoung works there, of course he will be there. And you don't , who said you ? You are the sweetest, most caring girlfriend!" She exclaimed sternly. "You are all I want and all I need."

Jennie's little chuckles rang in Jisoo's ears and melted her heart in seconds. She could never get tired of that sound. No matter how many times she hears it. As a matter of fact she does hear it a lot. Jisoo could breathe and Jennie would consider it the funniest thing in the world. That's how whipped she is.

"You think..?" Jennie asked shyly.

"I know so." Jisoo smiled and Jennie felt it in her chest. "Love you."

"Love you more." Jennie mumbled. "I'm sorry though Chu..."

"You can make it up to me when you are back." Jisoo didn't want her to feel bad for having to work. She understands it and whenever Jennie has time she is supportive of her. Even when they're apart she is like her number one fan and vice versa.

"Hm," Jennie pondered. "Then let me take you on a date."

"Sure. Can't wait for it!" Two barking dogs interrupted Jisoo. They were chasing each other before they jumped on Jisoo's lap. "Seems like Kuma and Dalgom want attention." Jennie adopted Kuma when she was promoting a dog shelter. No one picked him up but Jennie somehow got attached to him and decided to take him in.

"Is Kuma behaving properly?" Jennie asked with a cocked brow.

"As energetic as always and he didn't poop anywhere," Jisoo reported since she was looking after him while Jennie was away. "He's doing fine, I'd say." She patted his head.

"That's good to hear. If he gets too much tell him no more snacks." Jennie adviced.

"I don't think I have the heart to do that." Jisoo refused.

"I can already see you are going to be the nice mom while I will have to be the strict one." The words slipped out of Jennie's mouth before she could process them. The line went silent. 

Jennie became sweaty. Great. Now she did it. "U–Um... A–Ahh.. I...I–I mean ehm...." Yeah that made it better Jennifer. "W–What I want to say is.. uhm... i–in the future.. maybe... I–If you want to...! Not that I–"

"You are adorable," Jisoo giggled lightly. "And I think you would be a great mom. You don't give yourself enough credit, Ms Kim. Kids love you."

Just why does Jennie have to stutter and be a mess in front of Jisoo? Sigh. She is a smooth boss ! Not some teen girl in love. At least Jisoo couldn't see that Jennie was as red as a tomato.

Jennie took a deep breath. "Well, I only want to be a mom and have kids if it's with you."

Again this mummed Jisoo. Maybe Jennie took this relationship more serious than Jisoo. Maybe she was not ready to even think about this for the future or  she might not want to build a family with Jennie. Jennie's head went overdrive.

"Same." The raven muttered quietly.

That one word was enough to make Jennie stop thinking and fill her with so much happiness.

"This... We are forever, right?" 'Say yes please. Please say yes.' Jennie chanted like a charm in her thoughts. Her world would be crushed if she said no. Just why did she ask? Now there is a chance that her world gets shattered into tiny pieces.

"Don't you hear my heartbeat?" Jisoo asked tenderly. Truly Jennie could hear it. The elder must have held the phone against her chest. "Forevermore, my love."

"Ah, I can't wait to get little Jichu's!" Jennie squealed excited. "I will put them in my pocket and keep them safe."

Jisoo laughed. "I rather want little Jendeuk's! Imagine them getting your chubby cheeks! Our babies will be the softest babies ever!"

"Is this odd?" Jennie frowned. "That we are thinking of having babies when we have dated like half a year."

"Jendeuk, you don't need to pretend that you don't know the exact amount of time we are already dating." Jisoo smirked knowingly. She knows her mandu well.

"Seven months, twelve days and fourty minutes." Jennie blushed. "So?"

"So even if the odds were stacked up against us they couldn't tear us apart." A smile graced their lips. "Time is nothing but what the clock tells you. Don't let it determine your actions. Only our feelings matter, okay? Let's only allow our hearts to tell us when it's time, not the clock."

"Mm." Jennie hummed in agreement.

It was time for the book reading. Jisoo was already in the bookshop when Jinyoung organised the chairs to be arranged in rows in front of a slightly raised platform where there was one chair and a small table with a book. Soon the room filled with booklovers, critics and a few reporters.

Jisoo was panicking a little in case anyone would come here to hate on her book but Jennie told her if anyone would do that she will make their life hell, so Jisoo hoped not for her but for them that no one is going to do any of that such.

She could also see Lisa and Chaeyoung, sitting in the back. As soon as Lisa met her gaze she gave her a thumbs up and a fist, signalling her that they were going to square up against anyone who dares to oppose her.

Jisoo moved to her place and began reading against the microphone. She managed to ease her nerves and read with emotions to capture the listeners. Her new book went more in the action category than anything she wrote before which was a new experience. It was about a group of friends who were dared to commit one big heist before they graduated.

After she was done a few questions were asked. Most seemed genuinely interested and the feedback was positive. No haters present.

She closed the book and once the people left she noticed a feline eyes staring at her through black sunglasses in a black attire.

“Jennie?” She asked quietly as the person walked towards her.

“Yep.” Her sweet voice responded and took the glasses of.

Jisoo’s face lit up. If the reading going well made her happy this made it even better. Jennie was listening!

Before she could utter more words. She felt arms wrap themselves around her neck and a body being flushed against her. Jennie’s warmth. How she missed it. She quickly grabbed her hips and pulled her closer.

“I missed you,” The brunette whispered in her ear, making her shudder. “So much I couldn’t bear it anymore. I had to see you.”

“Not that I’m not glad to see you but,” Jisoo sighed. “It were only a few more days. I told you, you didn’t have to. What about your job?”

Jennie shook her head. “You come first. Always.”

Jisoo’s ear reddened. “I missed you too,” She admitted. “A lot. I’m very happy you were here today.”

Jennie gave her a gummy smile and pulled back from the hug. “Perfect! Cause we have to catch up for stolen time. Let’s go on a date now!”

“That was great Jisoo unnie! And Jennie glad to see you again!” Chaeyoung suddenly exclaimed, rushed towards them and hugged them both at once.

“Thanks Chaen–”

Then Lisa jumped on the three and made them fall down, cutting Jisoo off.

Clingy. All of them. That's when Jennie thought she wasn't the only Jendeuk. She had her Jideuk and the giants.

"Double date?" Lisa asked but judging by her tone it was less of a question and more of a brainwave.

"NO–" Jennie tried but Lisa already dragged Chaeyoung ahead and said they were waiting in the car for them.

The cat-eyed girl sighed and leaned her head on Jisoo's shoulder. "I will spare more time for you. For us. Alone. Promise."

Jisoo squished Jennie's chubby cheek beteween her thumb and index finger, pulling the soft baby skin before she let go to place a soft peck on the spot.

"Don't stress so much, Jendeukie. We still have forever." Jisoo smiled brightly and squeezed her hand warmly. "I can't wait to spend every second of that with you."

Jennie nodded just as happy and gave her cheek a peck in return. "Me neither." Both were smiling at the other with red cheeks and hearts swelled with fondness.
