That's not what she wanted to tell her but saying she was in love with Jongin was also a lie and lying to Jisoo is a mistake. At least one mistake was ironed out. It's a start.
"I'm free tomorrow." Jennie announced. "How about I show you around?"

Jisoo didn't bother hiding her cheerfulness. She was happy about this offer. Jisoo was hoping Jennie would show her around. Apparently this is Jennie's hometown. She must have a lot of childhood memories here. It might make her tell her stories about herself.
"Tomorrow then." Jennie smiled before she took her leave. Strolling around town with Jisoo sounds like fun. The smile on her face stayed glued until she remembered something.

That was really close. Jisoo already sees similarities between them. That means Jennie has to stay lowkey from now on until she told her the truth. She won't do that immdiately tho. She will wait until a got opportunity shows itself. If the moment is good she might not be as mad.
Besides she wants Jisoo to consider being with her real self. She already acts comfortably around her but Jisoo still thinks she is unattainable in that way, thus she wants to prove her she is as much human as she is.
Until the book is done she has time.
Whether Jisoo wants to accept her after finding out the truth or not is up to her but Jennie will try her best to make her stay with her. She really likes the older girl, after all. She feels warm around her, they can talk hours about the most ridiclous things without getting tired of hearing each others voices but most importantly she makes her feel at home and that's something she never had.
