CHAEYOUNG POV:

Lisa kept blabbering about my (according to her) weird behavior, I really wanted to slap that mouth of hers.

At this moment I should be sitting in a corner, and try to evaluate what exactly is happening in my life.

"I told you to go meet him all those times he was literally begging you, he even set up a group meetup because he actually wanted to meet YOU. And you were being a little rat in just sharing a photo."

After hearing Lisa's rants Chaeyoung jumped from her chair, at the thought of Lisa peeking in her game and her conversation with Tehla.

" Lisa~ya I told you so many times not to peek in my laptop when I am playing, and about my meetup with Tehla, I have already made this clear that we got married to do quests in the game. It's weird to share photos."

Lisa banged both her hands on the coffee table and stood up hearing Chaeyoung's answer, releasing a scoff and giving her an 'are you serious?' look.

"Its weird of 'you' for hiding your identity and behaving like a bot when you both knew each other for already an year. Its normal to be curious about whom are you virtually married and playing with in a game. You can see what happened today after the meetup."

"All those players in the game actually discuss, that you must be ugly in real life that is why you are hiding your real identity. And when your virtual husband would have seen that in that meetup.."

"ughh leave it, you know the rest."

After hearing such words unexpectedly a drop of tear fell from Chaeyoung's eye. She didn't wanted to cry for such thing but she actually felt cheated.

Tehla and Roseanne went on various quests the entire time they were married in the game.

Even after hidden identities there was a bond of friendship between them.

Things started changing when once Chaeyoung accidentally spilled that she was from Seoul.

Tehla started to ask her for sharing their identities. But Chaeyoung was uncomfortable, for her this game was her escape.

At first she always ranted about that how gaming was nothing but a whole waste of time, but after she started playing it, she discovered that how it was a whole new world.

"There is a dream.

There is a talent.

There is a game."

There has always been talks about how this game has also become a possible dating site for many people, but Chaeyoung didn't wanted to be one of those people.

Her eyes was stinging and at that point she was already sobbing.

Lisa immediately took her bestfriend in her arms and started to pat her back.

She never wanted to see her friend like that. She was equally sad and furious about whatever happened.

Somewhere deep in her heart she knew that Chaeng was connected to this game.

How her life as Roseanne sent her to a whole new world each night, when she logged into the game.

"Ya Chaeyoung-aa your partner was an . I didn't meant that, but I just want you to know that it was going to happen one day."

"It isn't actually your fault. It just had to happen one day and it did happened."

Chaeyoung released herself from Lisa's arms and wipped her tears using her sweater paw.

She knew that she need to forget all that, she is strong enough on her own in this game and she needed to trust Roseanne.

She streached a genuine smile on her face for the first time ever since she came to know about the incident.

"Thankyou so much Lisa. You are the best. And you are right, I need to move on from that and I won't be affected by it for too long."

"Ehee thats like my Rosie, now lets drink and forget all your worries about that game."

The moment Lisa mentioned about her current status in the game, Chaeyoung pursed her lips and furrowed her eyebrows.

She suddenly remembered about the message from Jricefer.

She instantly sprinted towards her pc, and before sitting on her chair she once again threw a look at the dumbfounded blonde who was once again shocked at Chaeyoung's sudden change in mood.

"For right now you can continue your drinking session, I repeat that I don't have any plans of going to university tomorrow with a hangover. And yess I still haven't spared you for peeping in my game. So don't disturb me and you can continue doing your work. Thankyou."

Lisa couldn't say anything at Chaeyoung's sudden outburst and mood swing, without thinking much about it she went back towards the couch and started drinking her beer while scrolling her SNS.

Getting back to her seat Chaeyoung opened her laptop and once again got back to understand what was happening.

CHAEYOUNG'S POV:

First getting dumped by my husband in game and becoming a laughing stock, and now here I am staring at my laptop screen reading a message from no one else but -

The number 1 player of game, none other than Jricefer.

"How is that even possible?"

These are the only words which managed to escape from my mouth. I was still sitting on my chair, my mouth and eyes wide open.

"What the hell is wrong with you Chae? At this point you really need a counsellor. Has the divorce left such an effect on you?"

I tried to supress my anger when I finally understood, that Lalisa Manoban being the avacado she is, is not going to spare me with her teasing any soon.

"For a millionth time Lisa its not a divore just go drink your beer or I will smack your non-existance !"

Lisa released a scoff and threw Chaeyoung a teasing tongue and continued sipping her beer, to save her .

Getting back to the game, Chaeyoung tried to combine the actions going in the game.

There she was standing on the mountain top near the cherry blossom tree. The moment she turned around she was facing none other than JRICEFER.

Standing tall and calm, JRICEFER was staring right into Chaeyoung's soul.

At that moment everything was suddenly so calm, both Roseanne and Chaeyoung suddenly faced a sudden whiplash of silence.

@jricefer- I knew that I will find you.

Chaeyoung furrowed her eyebrows when she read his message in the chat box.

Chaeyoung was confused about why is the number one player of the entire game network who's identity has always been a big mystery trying to reach her.

Before Chaeyoung could even reply to his message he dropped another bomb.

"Will you marry me?"

The words which slipped out from the next second

"Lisa pass me the beer bottle right now."

Lisa once again started giving Chaeyoung weird looks for a thousandth time that night.

But without asking further questions she passed the can toward Chaeyoung, and hung open in shock when her bestfriend expertisely grabbed the can, popped opened its lid and started chugging it.

" yayaya hold on hold on are we competing for who finishes the can first. If its like this you should have told me first."

Chaeyoung threw her a glance which was enough to make Lisa aware that she had to zip , and she continued scrolling her phone.

After taking in few shots of beer in her system, many thoughts started wandering in her mind which had temporarily stopped functioning because of certain someone.

"Is he mocking me?"

Chaeyoung popped her fingers, furrowed her eyeborows, and started typing on her keyboard.

@roseanne- are you really jricefer? Like the number one platinum badge player. But what do you mean by that you want to marry me? Have you mistaken me for someone else?

He couldn't stop himself from leaving a low chuckle under his breath when Roseanne or his soon to be wife bombarded him with so many questions. His big beautiful orbs staring at his laptop screen could already imagine her reaction at his proposal.

"I still can't believe the great JRICEFER is finally going to get a wife, I thought you are going to be single throughout the game."

Leaving a chuckle Taehyung was still amused by the thought that his dear friend was actually asking the popular player for getting married when he clearly has always rejected the idea of getting married for just quests in the game.

"I heard that her ex partner just left her, and here you are, to heal her broken heart. Agrrr what a gentleman!"

Jimin couldn't stop himself from joining the teasing session in the small yet luxurious condo located in one of the most elite apartment buildings of Seoul.

They were constantly busy in teasing their beloved single friend who was finally taking steps further in his love life, even if its just a game.

Or was it really just the game?

The bickering duo supressed their laughter for their dear life when their maknae turned his head away from the screen towards them.

However, rather than throwing his hyungs some insults to stop fooling around and go finish their pending work for the presention next week, he streched a small smile on his lips.

"You both know, that I am doing this so that I can participate in the upcoming championship in the game, and for other quests, which are only open for players who are married and have partners."

Taehyung and Jimin instantly threw each other looks and a small smirk appeared on their lips.

"Well we will hope that Roseanne accepts your proposal, but I am still suspicious about the fact that you are doing this only for the competition."

Jimin instantly backfired and raised hid eyebrows twice, after which his little brother again threw them nothing but a little chuckle .

"Well if we win this, I am going to get the diamond shield and sword upgrade that I have been trying to get for a long time now. And this indeed is, 'the chance'."

Noticing that his hyungs are again at that whispering and blabbering something in each other's ear, he ended up the conversation at that point and focused his attention again on his screen.

His finger started moving again on his keyboard with a smile automatically forming on his lips.

@jricefer- i saw what happened before, how your ex husband broke your shield of love, and well this over here is not a joke. I really am asking you if you want to become my partner.

@jricefer- and I haven't mistaken you for somebody else , I know you are Roseanne the only female player in the top 10 ranking of the entire network. And I must say I have always been amused by your skills.

@jricefer- well let me be honest with you. You must be knowing or may be not, there is a championship in the game which was recently released, offering a diamond shield and major upgrade of weapons to its winner, but it is only for married pairs.

@Jricefer- i really am confident seing your skills that if we take up the challenge together to kill the 'Blue witch of Tavarna' we can do it.

@jricefer- at this point its all upto you now.

Chaeyoung couldn't help but scoff at how 'straightforward' he was.

How can he suddenly come and throw such a bomb in her life when she was literally crying and making herself a promise that she is now going to play this game alone without getting into any stupid marriage.

She still couldn't take in the fact that how the current ranking champion of the game had himself approached her for the new pairing.

She had often heard about Jricefer's gaming skills, not just that, he was also popular in the network for his fairness in fights and modesty. She had often heard her fellow players talking about that how he always managed to be calm and composed even while fighting against monsters.

He has won fights against everyone who challenged him.

Name it, from most skillful players of Warriors of Cavarna, to all those frightening monsters who will make you 'gulp' in horror and send shivers in your spine just by their 'nasty appearance', even if they are just virtual.

She knew a little about the championship of killing the ' Blue Witch of Tavarna' and was previously going to ask about it to Tehla, that they should try their luck on this.

She had never thought, that how situation will turn up like this.

After being left out for someone else, she should be taking huge pledges about how she will never be tied in a new marriage in this game ever.

But there was something that was attracting her towards him.

Be it the alcohal in her veins or heat of the moment but she could see how Roseanne and Jricefer were standing on the hill top staring at each others souls.

Clearly, he was waiting for an answer.

As said, this was just a game but Chaeyoung unexpectedly was feeling nervous like never before.

Her stomach churned at the thought of her marriage with Jricefer and another message popped on her screen.

@jricefer- i am still waiting for your answer.

She closed her eyes for a moment and left a sigh collecting all her thoughts.

After moments of her inner debate she wide opened her eyes and started typing her answer.

@roseanne- i don't know how will this turn up. But LETS DO THIS.

Chaeyoung POV:

I knew that in future, I will find myself banging my head on the wall in regret, if I would have turned down his proposal, wait, I mean his idea, this is why I accepted this.

And i actually feel all giddy about just at the the thought of our wedding ceremony further in the game.

@jricefer- thankyou so much for accepting my proposal. Lets not wait any time, and lets get married tomorrow itself.

@jricefer- meet me near the temple at exactly this time tomorrow for the wedding ceremony. Tomorrow you will officially become Jricefer's wife Roseanne.

I couldn't help but blush at his choice of words. I don't know how he looks in real life, we only met in the game today but I can't stop my heart from jumping and the sudden somersaults in my stomach.

Without seeing the mirror i knew that my cheeks are already blushing in a deep shade of red and I squealed a little.

I brought my fingers into action and typed my reply smiling widely looking at the screen.

@roseanne- i feel equally happy to move further in this game with a player like you. Ok then, I will meet you near the temple at the same time tomorrow. See ya Jricefer!

Just as I pressed the send button I felt someone's presence behind my back.

In matter of seconds my eyes grew wide and mouth fell wide open the very moment I turned my head backward.
