SUNGKYU’S POV

It's been three days since that little confrontation I had with Woohyun and to say that everything is okay would be a lie. If Woohyun doesn't talk to me that often before, then now I think I can only count on my fingers the time I see him in the office.

I know it's impossible since we're both working in the same company and our office is just meters away from each other. But surprisingly we don't see each other a lot, maybe because Woohyun avoids me or maybe I'm the one avoiding him. I'm not really sure.

"Appa~" Sunghyun called as he snuggled close to me

We were on his bed, I just finished reading him a story but he doesn't look sleepy at all

"Yes my baby?" I said as I kissed his forehead and he giggled I looked at him playfully and started attacking his face and neck with kisses tickling him ‘My son is just too cute for me to handle’

He wriggled his body trying to stop my attacks but I didn’t let him win. He kept on giggling and I laughed with him while still kissing his face and neck

He pushed me slightly, trying to sit up and move away from me

"Appa stop. Sunghyun-ie wants to say something" he said crossing his arms. He was now standing on the bed pouting cutely

"Okay Hyun, Appa will behave now" I said chuckling as I sat up properly

"What is it you want to tell Appa, hmm?" I asked with a smile

"Can Sunghyun-ie go to your office tomorrow?" he asked cutely I raised my eyebrow

"Why would you want to go to Appa's office baby? You miss Appa that much?" I said as I pulled him to sit on my lap facing me and started to his hair lovingly.

"I want to see Namu" I widen my eyes at what he said as he looked at me pleadingly

I was about to refuse his request because I’m still not sure if I’m okay with Woohyun spending time with ‘my son’ especially now that Woohyun knows he’s Sunghyun’s dad when suddenly he puffed his cheeks and looked at me with those puppy eyes that I really can’t refuse.

"Namu promised me he'll play with me. Can I play with Namu tomorrow Appa?" he asked pouting cutely

I totally forgot about the little fact that my son is very fond of Woohyun, which is his dad

"Appa please. Pretty please Appa. Sunghyun-ie promise to be a good boy" he asked locking his arms around my neck, now with cute little glistening puppy eyes which is obviously my weakness. I sigh

"I'm not sure Hyun, he's probably busy with work" I said trying to make an excuse but quickly regretted it when I saw my son close to tears.

Sunghyun lowered his head down and let go of my neck. He heaved a long sigh while he moved up from my lap.

He remained quiet as I helped him lay down on the bed. I looked at him and I saw how he was trying to stop himself from crying.

‘Oh ! I’m making my son sad right now’

“Do you really want to play with him so badly Hyun?” I asked as I his cheek with my index finger. He nodded with a pout and I heaved a sigh.

‘Come on Sungkyu, you can’t make your son sad just because you hate Woohyun’

"Alright, I’ll ask Imo Noona to send you to my office after your school tomorrow" I said and smiled as I saw my son brightened up again.

The next day I asked my sister to bring Sunghyun in my office during lunch since Sunghyun has morning class only. I haven't seen Woohyun yet so I'm not sure if he went to work but if he's not here then I guess I'll just play with my son. Today is not that hectic anyway so I have time.

I was fixing my stuff on the table when Dongwoo came in

"Hyung, it's almost lunch time let's eat out" Dongwoo said excitedly

"Sorry Dongwoo, I'm waiting for my noona and Sunghyun" I looked up to him as I smiled apologetically

"Really? Are you going home early today?" he asked curiously and I smiled a little. Dongwoo walked towards the couch and sat.

"No, actually Sunghyun asked me if he can play with Woohyun today" I said shrugging my shoulders. Dongwoo widen his eyes

"A-And you let him?" he asked bewildered

"Well, he begged me for it I tried to come up with an excuse but he looked really sad that I couldn’t refuse him anymore” I said heaving a sigh. I walked towards the couch and sat beside Dongwoo

“Hyung, you have to give Woohyun a chance to be Sunghyun’s dad. I mean, I understand if you hate him and don’t want to do anything with him anymore. But I think both of you should compromise for Sunghyun’s sake” he said seriously

“I don’t know Dongwoo that sounds more complicated for me” I said as I lean my head back and put my arm covering half of my face

“Hyung, Woohyun is still Sunghyun’s dad no matter what happened to the both of you. He still has his rights over him. Besides, Sunghyun is a smart kid I don’t think Sunghyun would like it if he knew you’re keeping his dad away from him” I sigh because what he said was all true

I felt Dongwoo twisted his body so he can face me and tapped my shoulder

“I’m not telling you to tell Sunghyun about Woohyun right away. You can do that step by step but I don’t think it is right for you to keep Woohyun away from his own son” he said finally and I nodded

I was about to say something when a loud call interrupted me.

"Appa~" Sunghyun ran to me and I lifted him up and made him sat on my lap kissing both of his cheeks

“Hey baby, you’re here” I said as I peppered his face with kisses and he giggled

"Sungkyu that son of yours is getting more and more active by the day you should cut down his sugar or something" My noona said as she put Sunghyun's nursery bag on the coffee table. I smiled at her mouthing a small ‘thanks’ to her.

As soon as Dongwoo and my noona left the office Sunghyun started tugging the hem of my shirt

“Appa, let’s go to Namu now” he said excitedly I chuckled at my son’s enthusiasm

I grabbed his hand and led him to Woohyun’s office. I honestly don’t know what’ll happen but I can’t ignore the fact that Sunghyun’s really happy right now. I know Woohyun and I haven’t talked about this again since that little confrontation but I just want my son to be happy. ‘Dongwoo is right somehow’

We walked to his office hand in hand and I saw Woohyun standing in front of the table,back facing us holding a take-out bag

“Namu!” Sunghyun shouted which made Woohyun turn around.

“Sunghyun-ie” he said widening his eyes. Sunghyun lifted his arms asking for Woohyun to carry him but Woohyun looked at me hesitantly as if asking me if it was okay. I nodded a little before he lifted ‘my son’ and hugged him.

“Namu, I missed you! You promised you’ll play with Sunghyun-ie” Sunghyun said pouting and hugging Woohyun’s neck tightly. I heard Woohyun chuckled

“I did didn’t I? Sorry for making you wait bud, Namu was just a little busy but I can play with you now. Does Sunghyun-ie want to play with Namu today?” Woohyun asked and Sunghyun nodded eagerly I smiled ‘I guess I made the right decision. Sunghyun’s happy and that’s enough for me’

Woohyun glanced at me and smiled a little. I cleared my throat and glance away
