WOOHYUN'S POV

I sigh inhaling and exhaling the air surrounding the place I once called home. I still consider it as my home but I haven’t been here for more than 4 years, things surely have change.

I walked out of the airport carrying my baggage and when I reach outside I smiled. I saw some flowers were starting to bloom it was already nearing spring. I waited for a taxi and once I got my baggage and myself inside I told the driver my home address and leaned back on the chair. I haven’t gotten any sleep yet since I’ve been on the plane for more than 10 hours.

I tried to sleep in the taxi since I know my house was a bit far away from the airport but I still have a jet lag and my system is probably adjusting with the time difference so I just look out the window and tried to compare how Seoul was when I left and now that I’m back.

I smiled bitterly as I remember not only the changes this place have but also the memories I had especially with him. I wonder what he’s doing right now. He’s probably still sleeping since it’s only 4 in the morning. ‘He’s not a morning person or did he change already’

“Are you okay sir?” I heard the driver asked

“Hmm?” I hummed and he gestured for my face at the rear view mirror

I touched my face and only then I realized a few tears dropped from my eyes. I quickly brushed away the tears and told the driver I’m okay. He wasn’t convinced though but he didn’t ask any more questions.

Once we reach my house I paid him and went inside. I dropped my baggage down when I got to my old bedroom. The whole house was clean since my brother stays here when he goes to Korea from time to time and hired someone to come twice a week for cleaning. I lay on the bed and tiredness quickly surged through my body letting me sleep.

I woke up when I felt the sunlight hit my face. I whined as I rubbed my eyes. I reach for my phone on the bed side table and saw that it was already 2 in the afternoon. As if on cue my stomach started to grumble. The last time I ate was almost 24 hours ago which was before I left London.

I rummaged through my bag to get something to wear throwing clothes here and there which ended in a lot of mess.

“Yah! Nam Woohyun. What the hell is this mess in here” I heard Sungkyu asked from the doorway. I turned my head to him and saw him leaning his side on the door glaring at me. I smiled sheepishly.

“Don’t smile at me idiot. What is this mess?” he said as he stride to the bed picking up some papers on the floor

“I’m looking for a budget proposal which Boohyun hyung sent me the other day to be reviewed” I said as I kissed his cheek and proceeded in looking for that proposal ‘Boohyun hyung is going to kill me if I don’t send him that tomorrow’

I heard a sigh and I looked at Sungkyu only to see him walking to his study table beside mine getting some papers.

“You mean this one?” he asked yawning I quickly walk to him and look at the papers

“I saw those scattered under the bed Hyun. Under the bed I honestly thought they were trash. Good thing I read it and saw the date or else I would have thrown them already. How many times do I have to tell you to not leave your papers anywhere besides your table especially when it’s for work why’d…” Sungkyu nagged but I cut him off with a kiss

“Thanks Gyu. You’re really the best. I don’t even know what I’d do without you” I said honestly then kissed him again

“You still need to clean this mess up. Sweet words aren’t going to work on me” he said back

“I know. I’m sorry I made a mess I’ll clean it up right now. I love you, Sungkyu” I said smiling. He clicked his tongue

“You better be and I love you too” he said pinching both my cheeks and kissed me then went out of the messy room I smiled. ‘I really can’t live properly without this man beside me’

I walked to the bathroom and had a shower. I need to go outside to eat something.

Before I left the house I heard my phone ringing so I quickly picked it up and saw Boohyun hyung calling me.

“Hello hyung” I answered

“Woohyun-ah, are you in Korea already you didn’t call me” he asked worriedly

“Sorry hyung. I arrived at 4 in the morning and I fell asleep as soon as I lay on the bed. I just woke up 20 minutes ago” I said closing my room

“Oh that’s good then. Seokjin ahjussi said he put my car keys in the kitchen you can use it when you go out” he said

“That’s perfect. I was actually heading out to eat something and buy a few clothes. My work starts tomorrow” I said grabbing the car keys

“Okay then, call me when something happens. I need to go” he said and he bid goodbye then hang up

I drove to the nearest mall to eat something and buy some necessary things I needed both for home and office.
