As soon as I made sure that Sunghyun was sitting comfortably on the back seat, I went to the driver’s seat and started the car 

“Daddy, can Sunghyun-ie ask a question?” Sunghyun asks as he blink cutely

Woohyun chuckles upon seeing his cute son on the rear view mirror.

“Of course bud, fire away” Woohyun said as he winks at his son which made little Sunghyun giggle

“Why can’t daddy live with Appa and Sunghyun-ie?” Sunghyun asks curiously

Woohyun was taken aback by the direct question, he almost stepped on the break abruptly

“Uhm, well” He didn’t really know what to say. Woohyun sighs

“It’s actually complicated bud, I don’t think you’d understand but you don’t have to worry though, Daddy will always be right here when you need him” Woohyun assured his son

Woohyun could see the confused and unconvinced face of his son but the child didn’t ask any more  question. The rest of the drive, Sunghyun just told Woohyun things about him and what he likes. Woohyun only smiles and he takes note of every single detail on his mind. He wants to know his son and he’ll make sure to make up for those years he wasn’t there for the kid.

When they arrive at the mall, they immediately went to the cinema to buy tickets for Toy Story 4. Sunghyun prefers fries more than popcorn so Woohyun bought 1 large fries and 2 ciders. During the movie, Sunghyun was too immersed in watching and Woohyun can’t help but smile fondly at his son. ‘My son is so cute’ He starts thinking about what happened 5 years ago. If only he didn’t leave he would have his own family by now. He doesn’t regret his decision because it was the right thing to do during that time but he regrets leaving the 2 precious gems in his life. He wish he could’ve done something else instead of leaving. He felt something wet on his cheeks and only realized a couple of tears have escaped from his eyes. He quickly brushed it off. He doesn’t want his son to worry. Besides there’s no use in thinking about the ‘what ifs’ he did what he did and he lost what he lost. The important thing is, he can still be Sunghyun’s father.

“Daddy, Sunghyun-ie is hungry” Sunghyun requested showing his dad his puppy eyes

“Hmm, what does my cute little Sunghyun-ie wants?” He replied as he lifts his kid and made him sit on his shoulder. Sunghyun giggled cutely, liking the fact that he was on top and he could see a lot of things. He immediately hold on to his dad’s hair and Woohyun holds his thighs to keep him balance on his shoulders.

“Sunghyun-ie wants his favorite mandu and noodles” Sunghyun tells his dad excitedly

“Really? Mandu and noodles are my favorite as well. You’re really my son” Woohyun said happily as he takes a look at his son on him.

Sunghyun told him there’s a restaurant he and his appa frequents

Woohyun smiled at that, he was the one who forced Sungkyu to eat mandu and noodles when they were still dating. 

“Hyung, what do you want for lunch?” Woohyun asks his boyfriend with puppy eyes as they stroll in the mall

“I want pizza and burger” Sungkyu said ignoring his boyfriend’s puppy eyes

“Really? Are you sure?” the younger moves closer to Sungkyu’s face and displayed his kicked puppy face more intense than before. Sungkyu rolled his eyes at the younger

“Didn’t we just eat mandu and noodles the other day?” Sungkyu asks disbelievingly 

“We did, but I’m craving for it now. Please hyung, we’ll have pizza and burger at dinner later. Please” Woohyun begs his boyfriend who only sighs. He can’t really say no to this puppy

“Why am I dating you again?” Sungkyu asks 

“Because you love me?” Woohyun answers sheepishly 

“I’m starting to doubt that right now” Sungkyu said playfully but Woohyun still pouted

“Hyung” Woohyun whines, but Sungkyu just chuckles. He reaches out his hand to pat Woohyun’s hair but the younger just pulled him closer to hug his waist and kisses the top of his head which made the older smile

“I love you Hyun” Sungkyu whispers

“I love you too baby” Woohyun replied back with a smile

They went to Woohyun’s favorite mandu and noodles restaurant  at the mall so they can eat their lunch. Woohyun insisted on sitting next to Sungkyu instead of across him, Sungkyu just let him because there’s no point in arguing with the younger.

“You don’t have class on Friday right?” Sungkyu asks before slurping the noodles. His cheeks puffing on the amount of food inside

“Nope, I don’t. Isn’t that when we’re going to the tailor for your sister’s wedding?” Woohyun asks wiping the side of Sungkyu’s lips with a tissue. He cooed at the cuteness of his boyfriend

“Yup, my class will end at noon probably. You can pick me up at the campus” Sungkyu said and Woohyun nodded as he circle his arms around Sungkyu’s waist backhugging the older and buries the lower part of his face on the back of Sungkyu’s shoulders, kissing it lightly.

“Our appointment is not until 3pm, if I remember it correctly” Sungkyu continues

“We can still eat lunch after I pick you up then. I thought I’d have to order takeouts” Woohyun answered, words muffled since he was snuggling on Sungkyu

“Should we stay at my place or yours after the appointment?” Woohyun asks looking up at Sungkyu

“Hmm, your place is fine. We’ve stayed at my place 2 weeks in a row now. We
