          I immediately smiled when I saw who just texted me and opened the message excitedly.

            From: My Nampup

``             We need to talk. I’ll see you at the bench in an hour.

         I should have known something was completely wrong when I received that message earlier. I should have thought this day would not end well when Woohyun called ‘our bench’ to be ‘the bench’ I should have expected something bad will happen the moment I saw Woohyun sitting on our favorite bench in Han River with a cold and blank face without even bothering to hug or kiss me. I should have known something was not right when he hadn’t called me for 3 days and then his message lacked the affection it always has.

“W-W-What?” I said with wide eyes. I was sitting on the bench, body slightly twisted so that I was facing Woohyun. He sighs but still had his head forward not even sparing me a glance

“I said, let’s break up” he said coldly, without even a trace of any emotions.

I could feel my eyes burning and they started to blur signaling tears that were ready to fall out. He never used that tone with me even when he was angry or upset. He’s always sweet and caring and….

“Y-y-you’re kidding right? I-I-It’s a joke right? Is there a hidden c-c-camera here? Whose idea is this? Y-y-you’re brother? M-m-my sister? O-o-or is it Sungyeol?” I stammered as I look around frantically hoping that they’re all pranking me, that this is a bad joke to tease me that this is not happening. My tears were falling out of my eyes continuously, I looked at Woohyun and he still had the same expression, cold and blank.

“I’m not kidding Sungkyu. I want us to break up” he said without hesitation. He called me by my name and not by my nickname. Woohyun never called my name with that tone before. I could hear a crack inside me, it was my heart slowly breaking into tiny pieces. If we weren’t in a public place I would have wailed out and screamed my lungs out. ‘God Damn it! It ing hurts like hell’

“W-W-Why?” I asked sobbing hardly. I wiped my tears to appear strong but new ones keep on coming out so I just leave them alone, there’s no point in it. Woohyun stood up from the bench and was about to go to god knows where but I won’t let him leave not without understanding why this is happening, why he’s doing this to me.

“Where the , do you think you’re going?” I squawk grabbing his wrist harshly, nails digging through his skin. I saw him hissed at the pain but I didn’t care because that doesn’t compare to how I feel right now.

“You think you can leave just like that without giving me an answer? I-I-I know you h-h-have your reason why y-y-you’re doing this. Tell me what it is and we’ll solve it t-t-together Woohyun, j-j-just tell me. P-p-please….. D-d-don’t do t-t-this. D-d-don’t leave m-m-me” I begged as tears keep on coming out. He exhaled deeply and removed my hand around his wrist. I was weak. I could feel the energy escaping out from my body.

“There’s no reason Sungkyu” he said, voice still cold. There’s not even regret or sadness in his voice it was really cold like an ice. ‘What the hell happened to my sweet and caring Woohyun’
