Chapter  13

By the time the weekend rolled around Yunho was beat, he had like a million and one press statement after their night out, they just wouldn’t give them a break. Jaejoong hadn’t left the palace since that day either. Yunho was glad Jaejoong could rest without prying but it didn’t stop the public curiosity. Yunho just wanted to be at home with Jaejoong he was working on getting closer. Spending time with Jaejoong was doing him good. It wasn’t like they could keep it a secret, it didn’t take long for the public to know Jaejoong was taking a leave from the hospital. People were such gossipmongers, how he wished they could just give him a break. He’d nearly lost it as one occasion, But Yoochun was by his side to support him.  It was after the last press Yunho had made a few calls before speaking to his parent, 

‘That’s wonderful Yunho.... when are you both going?’ his mother asked, ‘It may be a bit late to call it a honeymoon, 

‘Honey...., If I even correctly you insisted on are the second holiday a honeymoon.’ 

‘I was tensing... I wanted to go away after the wed, ‘She held up her hands, ‘I know...I know Jaejoong was starting at the hospital and Yunho you had your own duties. But now the two of you can be alone together. It might just do you both a world of good.’ His mother had a heart of gold.  

‘Umma what are you insinuating?’ Yunho asked. 

‘Nothing at all, how long will you be gone for? 

‘A week or two...maybe longer we’ll see how we get on first.’ Yunho told him, he stood up as the door open. ‘Jaejoong....’ 

Yunho mother turned, ‘Good morning dear, come sit down and have breakfast with us.’  Jaejoong took the seat beside Yunho his eyes not leaving Jaejoong. 

‘You feeling okay...?’ Yunho asked softly. ‘If you want to go back to bed, I can bring you up something...’ He kind of like bringing Jaejoong breakfast in bed. 

‘Hmm.. I'm okay.’ Jaejoong assured him, his dark circle is very visible to the Yunho eye. ‘really I'm feeling heaps better. Did I wake you last night?’ Jaejoong asked, he was true he wasn’t sleeping well at night, he’d been having a lot of nightmares which he couldn’t seem to talk about.  Yunho would sometimes pretend to be still sleeping or if it was too must he’d rub Jaejoong back. Jaejoong usually felt really guilty for it, As Yunho was only beginning to share the room with him, he wasn’t avoiding him as he uses too. Jaejoong found himself rubbing at his hairline, Yunho knew what lay beneath that hairline. He only he could say I'm the cause of that scar, a past Jaejoong had very little memories off. 

‘We need to fill up that stomach of yours.’... Yunho mother turned to the maid, ‘please let them know they can serve breakfast.’ The maid bowed and left them. Yunho was just telling us about your trip, Are you excited? I know I would be.’ she asked. Jaejoong turned to Yunho and back, Yunho hadn’t mentioned anything to him. But Jaejoong couldn’t help but nod his head and the queen.

After breakfast they returned to the bedroom, Yunho following right behind his hand on neck, ‘I’m sorry I should have mentioned it to you before telling my parents. I was thinking with your time off we could...’ What were the right words to say, he was getting better, he had to, but it was still hard to get us too, ‘ I know our marriage was arranged,’  Yunho took hold of Jaejoong’s hands, ‘it may not have been ideal for you. ‘ Jaejoong couldn’t help but laugh at Yunho. ‘I want us to work Jaejoong, I really care about you,’ He had wanted to say love but was unable to say the right words, still it sh
