The next day specifically Wednesday night, the Lovelyz squad are there to watch the dance battle.

“It was so unussual for him to ask us to come here.” Comments Mijoo confusedly

“Yeah, I prefer to be at home and study.” Pout Yein

“Girls, I’m sure he’s here to suprise me with his awesome dance moves. Can’t wait to see it!” squeals Jisoo

Her three friends roll their eyes at her delusional answer shouting “STOP BEING DELUSIONAL!!” to her which she pouts that is until she sees Sungjong standing by talking to Dongwoo.

“What is she doing here?!” Jisoo asks

“Probably she’s there for Hoya. You know how Hoya feels about her.” Jiae answers calmly

“Guess she’s not a threat then.” Mijoo adds nodding

“Yeah, maybe we can just watch the show without getting into trouble again. That’s a great thing right?” Yein said excitedly

“I suppose. As long as she doesn’t two-time them.” Jisoo answers

Meanwhile Dongwoo drags Sungjong to backstage to see the boys. Sungjong just obidiently follows Dongwoo and inside she sees the team getting ready.

“Oh Lemon! Nice seeing you here.” Myungsoo says

“Sungjonggie! I’m glad you came!” Hoya exclaims hugging her instantly

“Couldn’t miss the show.” Sungjong answers smilling slightly

“I guess I’ll be going, come on Hoya.” Dongwoo said dragging Hoya away

“But noona-“

“Shush, let’s go.” Dongwoo cuts him still dragging him away from Myungsoo and Sungjong who are still talking.

As soon as they are gone, everything turns awkward. Sungjong is fidgetting while Myungsoo tries to look anywhere but Sungjong.

“Uh...nice costume. All black huh?” Sungjong starts awkwardly

“That’s the theme apprently.” Myungsoo answers with a smile but then fades as soon as he sees Sungjong’s hoodie-dress being too short “You wore pants beneath that right?” he asks

“I do...?” she answers awkwardly

“It’s kinda short, be more careful.” Myungsoo told her

“Please, it’s just a hoodie dress. It’s fabulous.” Sungjong answers before finally getting out of the backstage, going back to the crowd to watch.

After a few minutes the dance battle starts. Sungjong honestly is impressed by their dance skills and she can’t seem to pick which one is the winner. Obviously because they have different dance styles and they are both good.

-Background music : infinite songs in a remix-

Behind her, is Lovelyz talking about how awesome they are in dancing, mostly about Myungsoo because it’s Jisoo.

“oh my God! Myungsoo is so cool! So multitalented!!” Jisoo squeals “I’m sure he wins!!” she continues fangirling which the other three girls just listen but most likely prefer to watch more than listen to Jisoo who is a whipped for Myungsoo.

“I think Hoya is better, boi look at that flip.” Jiae said earning nods from Yein and Mijoo

“Hoya can hit me up if he acts like that at school. Oof-“ adds Mijoo swooning at how cool Hoya is

“He is so cool!!!” Yein squeals

Jisoo of course is offended at how her friends is acting. For her Myungsoo is always the best.

“Oh come on, Jisoo. Wake up! Hoya is better. He is a part-time dancer while Myungsoo is an amateur.” Mijoo retorts rolling her eyes

“Still-“ Jisoo pouts

As soon as the perfomance ends, both Myungsoo and Hoya exits the stage is walking to their direction. Jisoo is smilling ear to ear expecting Myungsoo and Hoya to go to her but they stopped and turns out they are walking towards Sungjong.

“So what do you think? Which one wins?” Myungsoo asks

“The problem is you two have a totally diffrent dance styles. So my decision is a tie. You two did a great job. Now settle your friendship as I go home to study. See you at school boys.” Sungjong answers patting their shoulders before heading home.

Myungsoo looks at Hoya and Hoya did the same and the two laugh as they bro-hug each other.

“That was fun.” Hoya said “you got great moves though, wanna join the studio sometime?” he offers

“Nah, I rather stick to photography.” Myungsoo answers

“You two slay the stage! So amazing! Spectacular, I staaaan!!” Woohyun exclaims as soon as he appears in front of them

“Thanks Woohyun but I’ll stick to photography.” Myungsoo answers smilling

“Sounds like a deal, let’s go home guys.” Sungyeol said as the four of them head home together

Meanwhile....Jisoo is fuming because Myungsoo didn’t go to her. She huffs and runs towards Myungsoo pushing Hoya away quite harshly, clingging into his arm.

“You know if you ask me, I’d say you’re the best out there. Hoya is nothig compare to you OF COURSE.” She told him

Myungsoo rolls his eyes as a respond as he removes Jisoo’s hand from him and walks away with his friends. Unfortunately at the exit, the four of them have to go seperate ways.

Myungsoo’s POV

“Gotta go guys, I’m taking the bus. Bye~” Sungyeol said as he runs with Woohyun

“I’m going first okay? I’m using my motor cycle. You’re gonna be okay alone right?” Hoya asks

“Of course, don’t worry.” I reply as I see Hoya walk to his motor cycle, I bid him good bye and go on my own way home.

On the way, I see Sungjong still near by and I see her dancing. I watch her from afar before finally approaching her.

“Hey.” I greet her

“Oh my God! Yak! at least warn me first, stupid cat!” she scolds. Ah, the hostile side is back.

“My bad.” I mutter

Suddenly she fishes out an orange juice from her bag, showing it to me.

“Want some?” she asks

“Thanks.” I said as I accept it before finally sitting down beside her.

There is silence between us as we drink the juice and enjoy the night breeze until finally Sungjong opens and ask me “So, why aren’t you home yet? Isn’t grandpa Kim gonna be worried?”

“Ah grandpa is at Singapore now so I’ll be fine for now. Besides, why are you still here?” I ask back “I can take you home if you want.” I add grinning slightly

“You? Taking me home?” she scoffs in which I nod awkwardly

“In your dreams!” she deadpans which makes me looks at her in the most offended expression ever. 

“Fine. Go home alone, just don’t blame me if someone ends up you.” I retort sarcastically as she walks away.

“Not gonna happen~” She replies loud enough for me to hear. 

I watch her dissapear as she enters a taxi going home. Being a worry wart I am, I followed her with my driver. We watched her get off the taxi going inside her house. A relief smile appears on my face knowing she is home safely.

“Thanks Driver Im.” I told him which Driver Im just nods as he drives me back home.

Sungjong’s POV

After I close my door, I enter my room to get some sleep until I walk pass Jangjun’s room and sees him packing his bag.

“Going camping huh?” I ask leaning against the door frame

“Yeah, I’ll be going for a week noona. Don’t miss me okay?” he replies jokingly

“Trust me, I won’t.” I retort back

But in reality we both know that we will miss each other. For a week is a long, long time especially knowing how attached Jangjun is to me.

“As soon as you’re finished get some sleep okay? You’ll be late if you don’t.” I remind him

“Yes noona.” He answers “and you need some too. How’s the date with Hoya hyung and Myungsoo hyung?” he asks smirking

“Date? What date? No we’re not going on a date! It was a dance festival.” I answer pouting

“Yea, yea. Keep telling yourself that. I can read it in your face noona.” He told me

I just huff as I walk away from his room to mine.
