Sungjong’s POV

“And the winner is....TS high school!!” the host announce as our team cheer and accept out trophy, the trophy is so big that Hyosung and I have to hold it together.

“I did it!!” I exclaim to no one

Unfortunately, my happy victory is interrupted by a loud shout of dad’s voice. Turns out my victory is just a dream. So I walk down the stairs and caught my parents’ arguing again. I didn’t actually go down there to see it but I stay by the stairs to listen to what they’re talking about.

“I know you are sleeping with that man you, cheater!!” Dad shouted loudly

“No, honey, I told you already! You get it all wrong. I didn’t sleep with him nor do I even have feelings for him.” Mom explains

“Lies! I knew you were with him behind my back!” Father shouts

That’s it! I’m sure mom is not that kind of person. So I step down from the last staircase and walk to them.

“Morning mom! Morning Dad” I greet them to stop them from arguing even more

“Good morning, my sweet princess.” Dad answers hugging me slightly, giving a smol kiss on my forehead

“So....what’s with the ruckus?” I ask curiously

“Oh it’s nothing. It’s ridiculous if I tell you.” Dad jokes

“Okay then. Anyways~ are you guys going to watch my cheer competition?” I ask

“Oh I can’t. I’m quite busy these past few weeks. There’s a new project right now.” Dad explains

“Awwww that’s too bad.” I pout

“Don’t worry. Jangjun and Chaewon are going remember? I told them to record your performance so we can see it.” Mom told me

“Okay then...” I said nodding

“Now go get ready. You shouldn’t be late for your competition.” Mom said

“Okay mom!” I answer as I went back up stairs to prepare myself

Jangjun’s POV

Besides the alarm clock ringing which I slap because it’s annoying me from my sleep, I also hear a very loud voice from down stairs. It must be mom and dad again. Here we go again~

I walk down stairs and see my sister already with her backpack eating breakfast oh-so casually and surprisingly so is mom and dad. Without arguing at all. Hm.... suspicious.

“Morning....” I said lazily to them as I walk past them to get some milk and cereal

“Jangjun-ah! We have food already. Come join us.” Sungjong noona said

“Nah, I prefer cereals.” I reply as I pour some milk to my cereal bowl

“You’ll get sick if you don’t eat proper food, Lee Jangjun.” Mom scolds me which I ignore of course. Come on, chocolate cereal is life!

“I’ll eat proper food by lunch.” I told her

After finish eating my cereal I get ready to go to garage to get my bike but before I go my little sister, Chaewon stops me from even going to get my bike.

“Where do you think you’re going, oppa?” She asks

“To get my bike...?” which I answer awkwardly

“Well at least wait until Sungjong eonnie finishes her food!” She scolds

“What’s with you two sassing me out 25/8!” I scowl as I walk to the garage to get my bike

Chaewon’s POV

After telling my big brother to wait for Sungjong eonnie I join her for breakfast. It’s quite simple due to the fact mom cooks it herself. Very simple just scrambled egg and some hash browns. Instant hash browns. You know those types where all you do is buy them at grocery store and to make it you just have to fry it.

“We’re finished~” Sungjong eonnie as she stands up before she goes she kiss mom and dad goodbye and off she goes

“Eonnie! Wait for me!!!” I shout as I run chasing her but I stop and return to bid goodbye to my parents.

Myungsoo’s POV

“Ring…. ring….!” my phone rings as I roll from my bed to get it.

Turns out it was Sungyeol calling me.  I groan in frustration because I’m still sleepy but answer it anyways.

“What do you want choding?” I grumble

“You going to see the girls?” he asks

“Girls?” I repeat

“Jisoos christ, Kim Myungsoo! I meant Lovelyz!!” Sungyeol shouts pretty loud which I put my phone away

“Geez! Calm your , Lee Sungyeol!” I scold

“Yeah, yeah whatever. Which is it?” he asks

“Fine, just help Jisoo get away from me okay?” I answer

“Deal!” Sungyeol exclaims

“Great! Meet you-“

“We’re in front of your house!! Get out of there!!” Woohyun shouts from the other line

“What the heck?!” I gasp as I hang up on them

Because those three are here I hurriedly take my bath and get ready. After that I ran down the stairs not forgetting about my bike of course. I got it out of the garage and pull it out meeting my three friends outside waiting for me.

“This is still 8 am guys, what the hell?!” I scold

“And the show is at 9 so what’s your point, Kim Myungsoo?” Woohyun roast back

“Shut up you roasTree.” I mutter as I get on my bike

“Let’s go shall we?”

“We shall.”

The four of us bike our way to the festival on our way, there’s a younger boy who accidentally crash his bike with Sungyeol’s.

“Are you okay?” Sungyeol ask he helps him up

“I-I’m fine. Thank you.” He answers

“Be more careful kid.” I told him but all he does is stare at my bike

“Hyung, is that the famous GT bike?” he asks

“Yeah?” I answer awkwardly

He keeps on staring at it in admiration until Woohyun speaks up stopping him from staring too much into my bike.

“Kid, as much as we want to talk more about bikes we should get going really.” He said

“Okay then! I should get going too. My sister’s competition is starting.” The boy said as he paddles away

The four of us stare at the boy as he dissapears from out sight, far far away. Sungyeol who looks to his watch panics as soon as he finds out the time.

“Guys, we’re almost late! Come on!” Sungyeol exclaims

Author’s POV

Meanwhile at the festival, Sungjong and her teammates are practicing for the competition at the same time their one and only rival passes by and sees Sungjong skillfull talents.

“Jisoo-yak, please be careful. She might be better than you.” The girl named Mijoo warns her friend

“Yeah, please be careful.” Kei adds

“We’ll see how she does first.” Jisoo answers as she watches the team practice. Just in time as Sungjong does a cartwheel she does the same making them face each other.

“Ah so you’re my rival.” Sungjong comments “nice to meet you, I’m sungjong from TS high school.” She greets the girl in front of her

Jisoo scoffs thinking her rival is mocking her existence.

“Don’t you know who I am?” Jisoo asks mockingly

“It’s my first time here, so no.” Sungjong answers unbothered by the mocking tone at all

“She is, Seo Jisoo! Back to back three time winner of cheerleading competition. Also our center and leader.” Mijoo explains

“Oh that’s so cool, it’s such an honor to meet the festival’s so-called star.” Sungjong said with a small smile

“so-called star?” Mijoo repeats

“Yeah. Stop acting like the world revolves around you.” Hyosung said standing up to Sungjong

“I’m their leader, Jeon Hyosung. If you mess with my girls you go through me. So what did you say to my bb Sungjong huh?!” Hyosung asks harshly which Sungjong glares at her friend

“Eonnie!” she scolds in whispers

“Please, please. I know where this is going. She just wants to win by initimidating every single rival she sees in hopes we give up right? Not today honey.” Hana adds with a smirk

“tsk. I thought she was just here to befriend someone and have a healthy competition. You know, Seo Jisoo-ssi. I gotta tell you. You got a toxic life ahead if you keep on being like this.” Sungjong said

“Who do you think you are?!” Jisoo asks a bit harshly

“I’m Lee Sungjong, Secret’s center.” Sungjong answers smirking

“We’ll see how you do at stage, loser.” Jisoo said “girls, let’s go.” She told her friends as she starts to walk away with them

Sungjong sigh seeing the arrogant girl walk away from her. She looks at her friends who comforts her.

“It’s okay Sungjong-ah. Just ignore her.” Jieun says

“Yeah, let’s just continue practicing okay?” Sunhwa adds“Okay, let’s do this girls!” Sungjong exclaims

At the same time, where are Sungjong’s parents? They are at court to take all their arguing to the law. Which in this case they are seperating forever. Divorce. Mrs. Lee has been trying to hold down her tears as the results are announce. Mrs. Lee never wanted to do this. she still loves her husband, she would never cheat on him nor did she want to leaver her children or have her children live without a father.

“The results of today’s court is that you two are divorced and the child custody falls for the father’s hands.” The judge says which saddens Mrs. Lee even more.

After the court is finish, the two talk outside Mrs. Lee is still crying over the lost of her kids and her husband. Mr. Lee her ex-husband confronts her telling her about the deal.

“From now on you stay away my kids. We are done. Don’t you even dare find them, cheater.” Mr. Lee said before walking away leaving his crying ex-wife alone in the court house.

Back to the festival, the boys are now parking their bikes at the parking lot meeting Jangjun again who is parking his bike.

“Hyungs! You are here too!” Jangjun exclaims waving at them

“Aish this kid-“

“Woohyun, no.” Myungsoo warns “you’re fast, kid. What’s your name?” he asks

“That would be Jangjun, Lee Jangjun. Oh full name would be, Lee Jangjun the great~” Jangjun answers with full confidence

“Such arrogance I’m-“

“Woohyun!” Myungsoo scolds louder which Myungsoo shuts up pouting

“Someone got his pants twisted today.” Hoya comments lowly which earns a snicker from Myungsoo and Sungyeol

“You’re not wrong there, Hobear!” Myungsoo laughs

“Ugh! You guys are so mean!!!” Woohyun whines

Their banter continues until a fancy car arrives at the festival shocking Myungsoo. It was the one and only. His grandpa.

“Grandpa?!” he gasps

Grandpa Kim just smiles as he gets off his car smilling to the boys.

“Good morning, Grandpa kim!” his friends exclaim in unison even bowing down politely to his grandpa

“What are you doing here?” Myungsoo asks

“I got lonely at home and can’t I hang out with my grandson?” Grandpa Kim asks back

“But not this time, grandpa. Not that I don’t want to hang out with you. It’s just that this festival is not for you, grandpa.” Myungsoo exclaims

“Is that so? Despite my old body I have a very energic soul you know.” Grandpa Kim arggues

“But grandpa-“

“Just joking, just joking. Go in there and have fun.” Grandpa Kim cuts with a laugh

“Okay, make sure you go home and take some rest okay?” Myungsoo reminds

Grandpa Kim nods which Myungsoo smiles in approval and runs to get into the festival of course not forgetting to say goodbye to his grandpa.

Inside the perfomance has begun with Ts High school cheerleading team going first. Their uniform white and red decorates the stage with their powerful movements. The perfomance ends with Sungjong on top doing their ending pose.

Unfortunately, Jisoo decides to ruin it by appearing before even being called which confuse everyone including their own coach.

“What is she doing? It is final but she’s not even called yet.” The coach questions confusedly

At the stage. Their pyramid breaks down as Sungjong gets down from their.

“What do you want?” Sungjong asks “don’t have enough patience to wait huh?” she mocks

“Let’s have a cheer battle and we’ll see who’s the winner.” Jisoo chalenges

“Be my guest.” Sungong answers smirking at the challenge knowing she has a very talented team.

The battle starts with a cheer battle where they roast each other. More like a rap battle just cheerleader time.

“Lovely and sweet that’s our team. Stinky and gross that’s what you are!” Jisoo starts which makes Sungjong cringes

“White and red decorates the stage. White means purity red means bravery. With that combined I know we can be number one.” Sungjong roast back earning cheers from everyone

“You have your style we have ours. Let me show you what we got.” Is the reply from Lovelyz team as they get into formation and starts to show-off their skills in cheerleading.

At the end both of them did the same thing over and over again until the final battle where they have to stand on three lines. Whoever falls first loses.

“Deal.” Jisoo said as her team starts to form the formation for the challenge

Unfortunate for her in the middle of balancing herself she steps wrongly and starts falling earning boos from the crowd because she’s cheating and also because of the ugly perfomance.

“Tolda ya my sister can beat you b*tches!” Jangjun said earning a waist pinch from Chaewon

“Don’t say such harsh words oppa!” she scolds

“Whatever.” Grumbles Jangjun who at the end starts cheering again

“Yaasss go noona!!!! You did it!!!” he exclaims “Guys!! That’s my sister guys!!” he continues to shout proudly about his sister’s victory
