Jin’s adult life is not particularly fun or interesting, according to him. He got a decent job as a patissier’s apprentice after college and ended up opening his own pastry shop after a few years of experience. Everybody close to him knew how much he loves pastries so when he decided to go to that direction, everyone was supportive. For him, this part of his life is fulfilling and satisfactory enough. His friends and family agrees but they think he should go out and experience romance, which surprisingly, despite being handsome and popular, he never even had tried to get into. In Jin’s defense, it’s not that he didn’t try. He’d had some suitors from the past that he thought he’d be okay to try it with, but when he finally decides on it, the other party had already moved on. Jin thinks it’s probably because of his indecisiveness, but for him, he didn’t want to get into a relationship just because. He would want to at least try it with even an ounce of feeling for the other party. That’s why it always takes him so long to decide if he’s going to date someone. Being a hands-on owner of his own business, Jin became busy and rarely have time to hang out with others and meet new people. He did go out a few times on weekends but only because Jimin and Taehyung would go to his shop and drag him out forcefully. They would always try to set him up with girls and dudes but nothing really worked out. Even Hoseok who is a well known playboy among them had all his cards out and Jin would either decline the invitation or just purposely ditch the date, to which he found the hard way how Hoseok is when he gets furious. Once, when he was just about to go to bed and rest, his phone lit up and notification sounds startled him. When he looked at his phone’s screen, he was shocked at the amount of notifications he saw. Apparently, when Jimin visited his shop earlier in the day and borrowed his phone—in the guise of texting Taehyung because his phone is dead which he found out later on was a big fat lie— he installed a bunch of social media apps and dating apps and had set it up without his knowledge. Complete with profile, pictures, and even following people. So even though it was in the middle of the night, Jin rang Jimin’s phone after he removed all the notifications he had and shouted at him only to be hanged up on. Jin’s already used to his long time friend’s invasive personality, for one thing, he knows the other meant good and so Jin didnt delete the apps. Well, most of it. He actually deleted the dating apps after he received a lot of very aggressive and lewd messages. The social media apps he kept thinking its one way to be connected to his friends since all of them are pretty busy these days and rarely hang out to chat. Jimin even added friends Jin hadn’t talked to for a long time. Of course Jimin, Taehyung and Hoseok were followed. He browsed their photos and he could see their life through his screen. Taehyung and Jimin posts a lot of their dates, their pictures together, the places they go together, pictures of each other, and Jin could see how very much in love his friends are even after a long time. Hoseok does to with his other group of friends, or theirs when they go out, or of his romances left and right. And most of the people Jimin followed using his account have those snaps as the topic.
