"Well, are you going to answer her Mina?" Teases Jihyo

 

*Mina smirks and glares*

 

"Okay, okay.." says Mina as she goes to reply to Chaeyoung

 

[ Morning Chaeng, I slept well, I hope you did too.. I am free today, did you want to do something? :) ]

 

"These pancakes are really good Jihyo" says Mina as she puts her phone down in wait of a response to continue eating.

 

"I'm glad you like them, I still think the ones you make are better though" admits Jihyo

"I guess I'll have to make them next time" says Mina

 

*Ding*

 

(1) Message Son Chaeyoung

[ Glad to hear that, I did too. I was wondering because it's a nice day, if you'd like to go out and about? I can pick you up, we can do whatever I'm easy. I said you have my word remember?.. :) ]

 

Mina looks at her phone on the table and reads the message from a far whilst she finishes her pancakes.

 

"That was nice Jihyo, thanks" says Mina as she gets up to wash her plate, suddenly Jihyo stops her.

"It's okay Mina, I'll wash it for you. Don't leave Chaeyoung hanging" says Jihyo happily 

"Thanks Jihyo.." says Mina with a soft smile as she picks up her phone and heads back to her room

 

Ah Mina...

So much has been said about Mina, yet still so much more left to tell..

 

How to explain Myoui Mina?..

 

Elusive, quiet, beautiful, and elegant not to mention extremely shy..

Mina is a precious girl.. and a kind hearted one.

Often stoic in appearance, but that all changes when she smiles, her pretty gummy smile.. 

 

As for Mina, as far as anyone knows, she's never been in love.. and if she has been, nobody knows about it. She tends to keep to herself a lot with those matters, mostly out of a fear of the way she expresses herself (She is shy after all..)

 

The truth is, she's never been in love..

She has had crushes but that's about it..

 

Son Chaeyoung is the first person that she's ever openly discussed in a romantic sense to anyones knowledge.. 

 

Mina moved from Japan to here to study, where she also happened to meet Momo who had also moved from Japan to study too.

They became fast friends and eneded up being fortunate enough to end up working at the same place once they completed their studies.

 

She found her self a nice apartment by herself once she moved out of her living arrangements from her studies.

Mina enjoyed the solitude at first, but she eventually started to find herself feeling quite lonely.

 

Before Jihyo moved in she lived a quiet life. Work, watch some dramas and movies, and play a couple of games here and there in her free time, and on the odd occasion go out with friends (when they happened to ask her at a good time). 

 

As you can see Mina is a bit of a home body. She prefers to stay in, she became more of a lively person once Jihyo moved in.

 

But of recent even more so because of one Son Chaeyoung..

[ I'd really like that Chaeng, honestly I don't care where we go, because I'm tired of only having stolen moments at work :) ]

 

"So she finally replied" says Chaeyoung quietly as she goes to read the message.

 

[ Great! I'll pick you up at 12. See you then :) ]

 

A real moment again, finally...

As for Chaeyoung, she's never been in love or she at least thought she was once, but it didn't last long it never did..

 

She's had short unofficial relationships before, but nothing serious.

 

She always wonders what it would be like, she never felt anything much with any of those people before.

Maybe it was because she was so eager to know what it felt like that she rushed in too quick and too foolishly that it never came to her, and with that she still doesn't have an answer..

 

She's never felt the way she feels when she's with Mina, she thinks this is the real thing that she's been curious about for so long.

She's scared for it to go away, this feeling.. because the last time she felt this way or thought she did, it would always come as soon as it would go..

 

As the time arrives so does Chaeyoung at Mina's apartment door.

 

*Knock Knock*

 

She's here..

Thinks Mina excitedly with a smile

 

"Chaeng.. Hi.." greets Mina softly as she opened the door

"Hey Minari, you ready to go? I thought we could get something to eat too if you'd like?" asks Chaeyoung as she greets Mina

"I'm ready, sounds like a good idea" Mina agrees happily 

 

"Oh I'll tell Jihyo we're leaving, did you want to come in and say hi? Asks Mina

"Sure, although she probably sees enough of me at work and after this week is probably sick of me" jokes Chaeyoung as they make their way inside

 

I guess she's just going to have to get used to it..

Thinks Chaeyoung

 

"Jihyo?.. oh there you are"

"I thought we should come in and say hi before we go" says Mina

 

As Chaeyoung stands beside her she gives a wave with a smile.

 

"Hey Jihyo" greets Chaeyoung 

"Hi, Chaeyoung" says Jihyo happily 

 

"I'll be back sometime, so don't worry about me.. Go and do your own thing" advises Mina happily 

"Oh.. okay then Mina" says Jihyo slightly caught off guard by Mina's words

"Well, I'll see you later!" says Mina

 

She grabs Chaeyoung by the hand and hurriedly makes their way to the door with faint sounds of "See you round Jihyo" from Chaeyoung from around the corner.

The door sounds as they leave.

 

*Clunk*

 

"...Bye Mina..."

Says an astonished Jihyo quietly to herself

 

Who is this girl and what have they done with the Myoui Mina I know?..

Thinks an amuesed Jihyo with a smile

 

Sorry about that, this isn't like me..

The two now in the hallway talk.

 

"It's okay Mina.. I didn't know you'd be so excited to see me" says Chaeyoung shyly with a toothy grin

 

Mina suddenly notices she's still holding Chaeyoung's hand, she gives a short smile of embarassment but she decides to not let go of her hand, it feels right, it's comfortable..

 

I guess she's not so shy anymore?..

Thinks Chaeyoung 

 

Chaeyoung takes a firmer hold of Mina's hand and looks at Mina with a soft smile to show the gesture was wanted.

Mina just smiles back sweetly.

 

"So.. to the elevator then?" Suggests Chaeyoung 

"Oh right... yes, let's go" says Mina

 

They continue on hand in hand neither one saying a single word until they reach the elevator, they gently separate their hands once the doors opened and they entered both wishing that they let that moment last a little longer and that they didn't let go..

 

Chaeyoung breaks the silence.

 

"Y'know Mina, at first I never would have pictured you and Jihyo living together, but not anymore" admits Chaeyoung

"Hmm, what do you mean?" Questions Mina as the elevator decends

"Oh nothing bad by it, you just seem very opposite to each other, but I get a feeling it works well" explains Chaeyoung

 

"Oh, yes.. it does. I do enjoy spending time on my own, but over time not so much. Having Jihyo living there became very comforting, I almost couldn't imagine living on my own now. I enjoy being alone, but not being lonely.."admits Mina

"That's really nice that you live with someone where it works well Mina.." says Chaeyoung with a soft smile as the elevator reaches the first floor

 

It'd be nice to have someone around..

Chaeyoung enjoys living on her own, and is fine with it 70% of the time. She enjoys the freedom and lack of consideration she has to have for others space because it's all hers.

But she's now starting to find too much of it is hers, she has pleanty of room for something or someone else.

 

She thinks of how nice it would be to have someone to come home to, someone to eat with and someone to say Good Night and Good Morning to, just someone..

 

"Did you want to get some fries or something and eat them out overlooking the beach? There's a good spot to park" asks Chaeyoung as the elevator doors open

"That sounds nice" says Mina 

 

As the two make their way out of the elevator then the building, they go to Chaeyoung's car and swing by a take out place to get some fries to go.

 

"I see you like ketchup Mina" notices Chaeyoung at the copious amounts of packets Mina brought as they make their way back to the car.

 

"I do" says Mina with a smile

 

They finally make it to the desired spot overlooking the beach, thankfully quiet as everyone else is there instead..

 

As they pull up they look out at the view for a moment..
