"Thank you?"

Is that what I'm supposed to say? Really right now? 

"For what?"  

He sounded  really confused, I never planned on seeing him today, not like this at least, he was simply sitting on a bench in the garden I go to alot, I've never seen him there ever before, it was a mere coincidence nothing more.

I walked pass him, he looked up and smiled, he recognised me and smiled back and before he could even breathe, I simply couldn't let it sit inside me anymore 

"Thank you" I said, it was wrong, I know. Normally, people would say Hello or Hi but I guess I was really different 

"For What?"

His expressions changed to a very confused one but I couldn't say anything, not because I didn't want to but because she came breaking the only moment I have ever had with him. She looked gorgeous, a doll, an imaginary princess that found her way out of the cartoon books, he was too beautiful and She was my ultimate answer. I'll never be compared to her, never will be close to him in that way and never I will mean anything to him.

He looked at her, his smile came back, he tried to introduce me who was awkwardly standing in there 

"This is ..." he stopped, yeah of course, he didn't know my name, sure he didn't, I smiled and slowly drifted away, walking away from the two, it surely was awkward and confusing for both of them, I knew I made a mistake but I just had to tell him how thankful I was. Without his knowledge, he made me feel better, he made me dream of all the possible what ifs, he was kind and that's all I needed.
