Unfortunately, she's not the only Thai trainee, and Mnet doesn't seem interested in promoting two of them. Nobody would blame you if you didn't remember who Pattita is by the end of the show, Mnet certainly never did.

ʙᴏʀɴ 00 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ D • ᴅᴇsᴄ Seung Hyemi is very down to earth and rational, she's content to let drama and shenanigans pass her by. Unfortunately, drama and shenanigans is how Mnet lives, and despite her striking looks she'll be her own undoing.

ʙᴏʀɴ 01 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ D/VI • ᴅᴇsᴄ One might mistake Yoon Joori for being the youngest of the Urban Works trainees, and she certainly does nothing to dissuade that notion. Childish and upbeat to a fault, Joori's loudness can be abrasive, but how else will she stand out?

ʙᴏʀɴ 00 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ VO/VI • ᴅᴇsᴄ Moon Soomi has the kind of visuals that have you look twice, a gaze that is as intimidating as it is captivating, and that's just the way she likes it. She has cultivated little skill to compliment her beauty, but she likes to think her presence makes up for her. Her skin is very thin and she bruises easily. Be gentle.

ʙᴏʀɴ 00 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ VO/D • ᴅᴇsᴄ Honestly, when it comes to talent, Sidus could have sent Goeun all on her own. She's the full package: she can sing, she can dance, can even rap in a pinch, probably. Unfortunately her looks don't match with her skills, Goeun is heavy in terms of the kpop industry, and the company knew there was little chance she'd make it.

ʙᴏʀɴ 99 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ VI • ᴅᴇsᴄ Just a visual, that's what Hyedam is. She's trained for 3 years but she has to admit she's probably not cut out for any of this. Ah well, it doesn't hurt to try anyway, right?

ʙᴏʀɴ 01 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ VO • ᴅᴇsᴄ Friendly and outgoing, Ahn Minji always has a big presence in a room. She's friendly, and prone to forgetting that this is a competition, not a friendly bootcamp. A little too careless with the competition aspect, Minji is going to have to learn that, for some people, this opportunity is everything and she is dragging them down.

ʙᴏʀɴ 00 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ OTHER • ᴅᴇsᴄ Ahn Nami is Minji's older sister and her best friend, though she lacks much of her sister's talent. If Nami had to be honest, the idol life lot much of its lustre while she trained, she'd must rather be an actress, but she knows it would seriously hurt her sister to find out so she plays the puppet game and smiles and hopes she's as good an actress as she thinks she is.

ʙᴏʀɴ 99 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ VO/D/VI • ᴅᴇsᴄ Dain is the real competition here, the one the company has their money on. She's absolutely stunning and charismatic with decent skills to back it up, the only thing she hasn't quite managed is how to keep her emotions in check. She's an open book, and all MMO can hope for is that the audience likes what's written on the pages.

ʙᴏʀɴ 95 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ D/R • ᴅᴇsᴄ Park Chanmi is rather passive, honestly. She lacks that iron motivation Yuna has, or the spark of life in Minji, she's just here. Sure, she's a good dancer and a good rapper and very good at following orders, but that's about all she has. When you're overshadowed even by Kim Yuna, you know there's not much for you here.

ʙᴏʀɴ 93 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ VO • ᴅᴇsᴄ Kim Yuna has trained for years and each time debut has passed her by. She's hopped from company to comapny and always heard the same things.

ʙᴏʀɴ 96 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ R • ᴅᴇsᴄ A reserved and closed off person, Dahee and Yoonseo used to be best friends until they grew distant. Now their rivalry is undisputable.

ʙᴏʀɴ 96 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ D • ᴅᴇsᴄ Xiaoyu as flexible as they come and is in charge of the eyecatching tricks, but that's about all she's good for. Her humour is less flexible, she's all sarcastic all the time and prides herself on her savagery. That's what Koreans like right? Well, it's what Koreans will get.

ʙᴏʀɴ 97 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ VO • ᴅᴇsᴄ There's nothing wrong wtih Yeji, there's just nothing right either. She's rather bland, and not particularly skilled either. With the skill of the other FNC girls, Yeji is just kind of there.

ʙᴏʀɴ 97 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ VO/D ᴅᴇsᴄ Jina had the dream of debut under the group Bellas. However that was dashed when Bellas flopped. Never the centre or most standout member, Jina will need to show she is more than just a competent dancer if she hopes to succeed here and escape the MBK dungeon.

ʙᴏʀɴ 00 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ VI • ᴅᴇsᴄ Sojin is really considered an overhyped trainee who gets by on her visuals alone. She'll have to prove she is more than that if she wants to make it in the competition.

ʙᴏʀɴ 98 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ VO/D • ᴅᴇsᴄ Once considered the centre of Bellas and the most popular, Nara may have been this once but now has to deal with being in a flopped group. That doesn't stop her from being defiant to other trainees on the show however.

ʙᴏʀɴ 95 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ VO • ᴅᴇsᴄ Bellas' former vocalist and resident foreign member. She along with the others volunteered for the show with the chance they can shine on stage again after their group failed during debut. Having a sibling that is almost notorious in SK won't make it any easier either.

ʙᴏʀɴ 95 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ VO • ᴅᴇsᴄ Sona really acts like Bitna is her child, and tends to mother her constantly. Once promising vocalist herself, Sona could have debuted had things gone differently. She also tends to be emotional and cries easily.

ʙᴏʀɴ 00 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ D • ᴅᴇsᴄ Bitna was 'graced' with unconventional looks that often overshadow her dancing abilities. While energetic and happy, Bitna is plagued by lack of focus, immaturity, and the ever underlying insecurity. She really relies on her fellow trainees to care for her.

ʙᴏʀɴ 97 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ VO • ᴅᴇsᴄ Gong Sohyun is a sweetie with a voice, now if only she ever got any screentime to prove it. Her biggest problem is that, while she's very nice and likeable, there isn't really anything special about her. She's not overly pretty or overly charismatic, she has a nice voice but it doesn't comare to some of the other vocalists.... Mostly, Sohyun is just nice, but is that enough?

ʙᴏʀɴ 04 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ D • ᴅᴇsᴄ Yes, Kim Saebom is actually 14 years old, you've seen that right. She's a confident little thing too, sure of her place in the world in a way that only tweens can be, and prone to letting the competitive aspect of the show get to her head. Saebom is very ambitious and definitely wants to win this, but with everyone being so much better, prettier, and older than her, how long can she keep this confidence going without letting the entertainment industry get to her?

ʙᴏʀɴ 96 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ VO • ᴅᴇsᴄ Hon Yejin's age is catching up to her and she knows it well. Already pushed into a leaderly role for the other girls, Yejin does her best to look out for her but she can't help but feel like her age has become most of her identity, at least to the higher ups.

ʙᴏʀɴ 98 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ R • ᴅᴇsᴄ Hyowon is a great rapper, or so she knows herself, if only people could look past their shallow beauty standards and actually give her a shot. She knows she'll never get a fair shot but she has to try anyway,. Woe is the girl who activates her temper, and who's to say Hyowon frustration at her situation isn't helping.

ʙᴏʀɴ 97 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ D/VI • ᴅᴇsᴄ Ever mindful of others (and how they view her), Siryung is more than a ballerina, a pretty face, or a big company trainee. If only her hard work can be recognized as her own.

ʙᴏʀɴ 98 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ VI • ᴅᴇsᴄ Gong Seulrin is a very simple girl: simple in heart and simple in mind. She's a little dumb and a little thick but she makes up for it all with an overdose of heart, and despite the fact that she doesn't have a lot of skill, she makes up for it with her wholesome personality.

99 - Vi / d

ming fen is stunning, and korea has noticed. pics and articles are cropping up about woollim's beauty, and fen is a little overwhelmed, honestly.

where there is success, there are rumours, right? isn't that the rule of stardom? those whispers about her have to be false, lies, slander. but then why does that feeling linger? the feeling that there is something different about woollim trainee ming fen.

97 - VO / VI

the sm trainee! jung gaeul's participation has caused quite a stir, and all of it almost makes up for the fact that sm never promoted her, not even once. no smrookies. no mv appearances. no mentions anywhere.

gaeul is the secret basement trainee nobody knew about but suddenly everyone cares about. that's perspective for you, one's hand-me-downs is another one's star., but gaeul is sure not about to let it all go to waste.

97 - VO

Once upon a time yeeun wanted nothing more than to debut as an idol. Once upon a time she was a trainee alongside her sister Yerim. Switch the tv to a music show and chances are you'll see yeri(m) shining, but yeeun is nowhere to be found.

Honestly, it's probable for the best this way. yeeun is done with the industry, but the industry isn't quite done with her, and contracts are contracts, even when companies shift. sm wrote her off to ct and her family pressured her to stick it out, but yeeun has her doubts. with outside pressure to succeed, the only way out that yeeun sees is tarnish her image and make it so that nobody will ever think to debut her again, but can she resist the sweet call of the stage?

ʙᴏʀɴ 98 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ D • ᴅᴇsᴄ Good tempered if a little frank at times, Jiho once had promise as a vocalist. However she tragically lost that chance and has now focused all her energy in dance and choreography. Hopefully the show will prove she has not lost the ability to be an idol (even if she sometimes has to convince herself).

ʙᴏʀɴ 95 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ VO/R • ᴅᴇsᴄ Once a former trainee, Haesung is pursuing music now on her own terms. Haesung feels environment strongly, and reflects this in how she acts and her emotions adjust accordingly. For better or her detriment.

92 - VO

Inree is a 26 year old biochemist, what the hell is she doing here?

A lot of the times she asks herself the same thing. Why is she here chasing a pipe dream of her younger self? she almost debuted once, years ago, under some obscure company nobody cared about, but all of that fell through and inree had moved on, or so she'd thought.

but here she is. she's trying again, woefully outmatched with the odds piled against her. all she can do is try one last time.

96 - VO / D

a failure, that's what lee juri is. that's what all the girls of the all but disbanded group paradise are. failures. release after release fell on deaf ears and 3 yers later Juri found herself all but out of a job.

some part time jobs here and some ghostwritten songs there and the year ticked on, all the while ynb shrunk to a shell of the little it was to begin with. now the company building has been sold, knk's contract has been transerred somewhere else, and all that's left are the scraps of the ironically named paradise.

juri, kyungmi, and liling are the only three who still had the energy to try, a last ditch effort to overcome their failure and get that second chance, but things haven't been paradise between them in a long while.

ʙᴏʀɴ 98 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ VI/OTHER • ᴅᴇsᴄ Why is Yemi even here? Deemed by CT skilled enough to represent, Yemi is really not about the idol life. She's really not about her labelmates either while we're at it. But she is a stunning sight regardless.

ʙᴏʀɴ 96 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ VO • ᴅᴇsᴄ Kyungmi once spent her time dreaming of being an idol. But failure as one has tempered her desires, and sometimes she wonders if there is a future in idol life for her. Personable under most circumstances, she has grown more temperamental and distrustful of those she was once close to.

ʙᴏʀɴ 98 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ VI • ᴅᴇsᴄ Liling knows she isn't the most skilled. But she is pretty and earnest, earning herself endearment. However Liling is uncomfortable with confrontations, and delicate to say the least.

choi bitna has experienced this whole circus before, she knows how this goes. she was a contestant on season 1 but The pressure and degrading comments and hate really got to her and she only managed to make it to #40.

now, though, now bitna knows how this goes. she knows how the game is played and she is not leaving here without a spot in that girl group, no matter what.

01 - Vo

princess hwari almost became a queen. despite her short period at the cube kingdom, she almost become one of the idle sorceresses until she was pulled from the project. despite her begging and pleading and many tears, the king of cube would not relent. she was not ready, not prepared for for the horrors of the peasantry, he said. she was unrefined, a diamond in the rough, with no cave of wonders or magic lamps to save her. princess hwari was devasted.

in an act of great mercy the king of cube proposed this: "compete in the realm's great princess tournament, win the hearts of the peasantry and make your own fortune" he said. "Prove that you are ready and ascend one of the nine thrones." now if only she wouldn't trip over someone's glass slipper on the way.

chinese or korean? lin mochou or im mosu? either? neither? mochou isn't quite sure anymore, mosu has lived in korea for half of her life, and her mandarin is horribly rusty, she feels as korean as she feels chinese.

but let's be real, who has time for these silly questions? she still has to memorize naekkoya and practice her expressions and help chaewon with her steps and-

ʙᴏʀɴ 99 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ D • ᴅᴇsᴄ Chae Seulgi is a great dancer and a talented choreographer, she's an asset to any team she's in, yet she still manages to be humble about it. She's almost infuriatingly nice and patient, always ready to give a helping hand, if only she'd learn to ask for help when she needs it herself.

ʙᴏʀɴ 01 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ OTHER • ᴅᴇsᴄ Jisun is a sweetie who perpetually struggles with her dancing. She's got a very nice voice and good presence, but she's such a slow learner when it comes to dance that she'll drag any group down that doesn't have the patience to deal with her. Still, she's young and cute and has this natural likeability, now if only she wasn't also that liability, then things would truly be perfect for her.

97 - R / d

fnc has a plan: they have a girl group ready to launch, all they need is a healthy dose of hype. send 7 polished trainees, ready to launch, and some of them have got to catch the audience's attention, right?

these girls have trained together for years now, go yoonseo knows each and every one of them. on paper it's a perfect group: talents and looks and charisma sprinkled across the board, perfect, right?

as for go yoonseo, she's studied the previous seasons meticulously and she sure thinks she knows how to game the system. all we have to do now is see if she's right.

98 - vo / r

once upon a time three siblings had the same dream and each set out to seek their fortunes. the eldest brother found it first, debuting as gong myung, rising star actor slash idol. the middle brother was next, coming to his own in a group named nct. and the sister? she was left behind.

familiar faces flash across the tv, her brother's bright smiles and accomplishments, but what about kim dohee? 3 different companies and still no debut in sight.

kim dohee arms herself to try again, this time it's her time, she will not be left in the dark again.

ex-woolim and current starship trainee park haeun is like fireworks in an enclosed room. she's confident, cheeky, and her laugh echoes through a room. and why shouldn't she be? she's the best, isn't she?

haeun is alive and she's free and that's exactly what she wants you to see. as long as you see her, please see her.

ʙᴏʀɴ 95 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ VO • ᴅᴇsᴄ A fantastic vocalist and doesn't she know. Sungsook is great to talk to if you don't want any bull, as long as you can stand that arrogance.

ʙᴏʀɴ 01 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ D • ᴅᴇsᴄ So new to the scene that she isn't even a part of Nogizaka46's latest generation. She's young, she's ambitious, and she's a 16-year-old girl on a fun adventure... as far as she knows.

ʙᴏʀɴ 96 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ D • ᴅᴇsᴄ With Nogizaka46, she was very much the center... for two B-sides. The self-proclaimed 'B-side queen' can be self-deprecating and bitter, but perhaps this show is her opportunity to shine.

98 - vi / d

midori is already an idol, just in a different country. she's a part of the popular japanese group nogizaka46, and one of the prominent frontliners too, but that's not enough for midori. she hasn't gotten a center position in years, the company doesn't seem interested in pushing her, and while she gets plenty of photoshoots and attention, midori wants more. she feels stagnant, and produce feels like the perfect opportunity.

besides, she loves kpop! how hard could this be, really?

98 - vo / d

song yoonbyul is... not always easy to get along with, honestly. she's passionate to a fault, she wants this more than anything, but her lack of tact and arrogance gets the best of her.

skilled in vocals and dance and even rap in a pinch, yoonbyul knows she's the real deal, and she let it get to her head before. she was a menace back at rainbow bridge world, her previous company, and she ended up getting kicked out for attitude issues.

she's trying to turn a new leaf now, she's trying to be a better person, but it's so hard to change has a habit of catching up with you.

ʙᴏʀɴ 96 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ D/VO • ᴅᴇsᴄ She had seen sunrises and sunsets from every continent, riding along for her father's dream job. Now, it's time for Taeri to chase her own dream, but her looks are a wall between the audience and all her hard work.

ʙᴏʀɴ 95 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ R/D • ᴅᴇsᴄ Haneul is a natural leader and team player... at the expense of herself. How will she ever manage the hard decisions (let alone punishments) that come hand in hand with a nurturing role?

ʙᴏʀɴ 01 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ D • ᴅᴇsᴄ Of the trio of TS trainees, Hana is arguably the most skilled as their resident soft triple threat. She stands out with her bright personality.

99 - vi

lucy has come to experience the land of kpop, of beauty, of fashion, and glamour. the land that thinks she's pretty and the land that produces objectively the best music on the planet, you have no idea how excited she is that she is here right now. actually here! within the gears of the kpop machine!

her mom tried to shield her from her own homeland, didn't even give lucy a korean name, but lucy found her way to korea all by herself. it doesn't matter that she can't really dance and her singing is just kinda nice. who cares? she's here and everything is totally great!

once a prominent jype trainee, lexi park (or sora as many koreans insist on calling her) has featured in got7 music video amongst other small promotions, almost debuted in 6mix with half of twice, and just about missed out on sixteen due to an injury.

every time she thinks she's finally there something happens and it all falls apart again. now she's the defacto leader of the brand new girls and here she is again.

after all of this, produce has to be the one. lexi isn't sure she can handle having the rug pulled out from under her again.

kwon girim looks like a girl who had everything going on for her: her family owns a cat/book cafe that she (modestly) designed, she recently got gold rank on overwatch, she was basically surrounded by cats 24/7, and her recent memes on instagram got over 2k likes! she was happy, right? so why, when she was laying in bed at night with her laptop on her chest watching videos of beautiful people dancing to catchy tunes, did she feel this tug? this longing? this emptiness waiting to be filled?

fast forward some months and she's back to dance rooms, company executive scrutiny, and no sleep. no, this doesn't feel right either. she wants the spotight

, but could do without the degradati0on of her person, you know? and she does so miss the cats.

girim wants this! she thinks. she's not sure. she wants the cafe too, but there's no such thing as having your cake and eating it too, is there?

ʙᴏʀɴ 99 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ VO • ᴅᴇsᴄ Don't let Han Junghyun's age fool you, she's been training for years now and don't you forget it. Sure, there are a lot of girls older than her, but how much does that really count when she has so much more experience? Step aside, Junghyun surely knows better.

ʙᴏʀɴ 94 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ VO • ᴅᴇsᴄ Rachel is one of the older contestants, she's been in Top Media's dungeon for 8 years now, only featured in some B-sides here and there, this is probably her last chance to crawl out, but with so many cute young and pretty girls around, can someone like Rachel have any hopes of making it?

ʙᴏʀɴ 96 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ VO • ᴅᴇsᴄ This isn't Zhu Mengjie's first rodeo, she comes fresh from Produce 101 China, where she almost made it into the group. Of course, that result wasn't enough for her, not by far, and she's here now to try again, and this time she won't be content with 14th place.

ʙᴏʀɴ 98 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ VO • ᴅᴇsᴄ The second oldest of the Brand New Girls, Juyeon is something of a fake-maknae. Cheerful to a fault, she's a free-spirited thing more interested in having fun than staying in formation.

ʙᴏʀɴ 95 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ OTHER • ᴅᴇsᴄ Jin Miyoo is one of Yuehua's most recent;y acquired trainees, she's only been training for a few months and it hasn't really done anything for her yet. She hardly knows her fellow Yuehua trainees either, it's hard to get inbetween dynamics that have been established for years. To Miyoo, everyone here is a stranger. She's not sure if that makes things better or worse.

ʙᴏʀɴ 97 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ OTHER • ᴅᴇsᴄ Siseon is a sweet girl, but she doesn't really have any actual talent to back that up, and her looks aren't noteworthy either. As much as she tries, Siseon can't see a way out of being a wallflower, and competing against 98 other girls definitely doesn't improve her odds.

ʙᴏʀɴ 01 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ VI • ᴅᴇsᴄ It's not that hard to see Areum's stellar visuals, but it's another matter altogether to find the rest of her skills. She's a slow learner, willing to put in the hard work for to not drag the team down but it will take her a while to get there. Be patient and you might have an excellent center, but please don't yell at her.

ʙᴏʀɴ 99 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ VO/VI • ᴅᴇsᴄ Ask people who they think will get into the group and Han Moonae is one of the first names on their lips. With a solo single under her belt, the backing of a prominent company, and that face to boot, she's a force to be reckoned with and she knows it. Fiercely proud and intimidating, Moonae looks like an ice princess, and despite the odds stacked in her favour, will she actually make good on her promise or will she be her own undoing?

ʙᴏʀɴ 04 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ D • ᴅᴇsᴄ Small and cute, Yuka epitomizes the concept of youth and energy. While she lacks in vocals or rap and a short trainee time, she makes up for it in her youthful glow and willingness to improve. Whether that can persevere through the show or not will be seen.

ʙᴏʀɴ 97 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ VO • ᴅᴇsᴄ You see that girl sitting in the corner happily chatting away, probably giving some advice you're not sure she's qualified to give? That's Ha Bada, always the careless, upbeat, friendly girl with the huge smile. Worries don't seem to touch her and her attention is for all, but is she aware that this is a competition?

ʙᴏʀɴ 98 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ VI • ᴅᴇsᴄ Even if she is not the most skilled in vocals or dance, Sora tries to make up for it in determination. While Japanese debut eluded her, she has been presented the opportunity to compete in South Korea. Her company may have some reservations, but Sora is excited.

ʙᴏʀɴ 97 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ VO/D • ᴅᴇsᴄ An all-rounder who can do a little of most things, Soomi hasn't debuted yet for reasons unknown. She tends to motherhen Yuka, and the two are very close.

ʙᴏʀɴ 00 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ OTHER • ᴅᴇsᴄ Mai is humorous and bright, which as the second rep from Avex Trax her company hopes is enough to make up for her short trainee time.

ʙᴏʀɴ 97 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ VI • ᴅᴇsᴄ Friendly, charming, and absolutely stunning, Seyoung doesn't have to put in any effort to catch your eye with her beauty and her height, now if only she actually had any skill to back it up.

ʙᴏʀɴ 96 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ VI/D • ᴅᴇsᴄ Kayeon wears pride and ego the same way she wears anything: beautifully. But there's a soft heart living alone behind she purported strength.

ʙᴏʀɴ 00 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ VO/D • ᴅᴇsᴄ The first impression of Jeongha is a girl who doesn't stand out much. She's sociable in spurts and rather reserved, and Mnet's grudge against her company doesn't help her to stand out. She used to be part of a fairly successful Kpop cover dance group, name a song and she probably knows the dance. She fights the call of competition, will she lose herself in it or will she come out on top? We will have to find out together.

ʙᴏʀɴ 98 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ VO • ᴅᴇsᴄ Gayoung is a good vocalist with just an even better work ethic. She has big dreams and can be impatient with those who stand in their way.

ʙᴏʀɴ 95 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ VO • ᴅᴇsᴄ Once considered for the main vocal of CT's first girl group, Yujin always had a thing for propriety. Alas, though she portrays a humble image, there are times when anger and vindictiveness can take over; forcing Yujin to act out against those around her (particularly Yeeun).

ʙᴏʀɴ 96 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ D • ᴅᴇsᴄ Maeri has big hopes and dreams for P99. She wants to debut as an idol, but a combination of CT and lacking notable skills aside from dance seems to hold her dreams at bay. Reserved and emotional at the same time, Maeri might find the show to be more pressure than she can handle.

ʙᴏʀɴ 95 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ VI • ᴅᴇsᴄ Eunbi, or Adriana even, never seemed to want to be an idol. She was a model first and that may be where it ended had BBC not come in. Now she has to make it based on her looks alone as she is lacking in any other idol skill.

ʙᴏʀɴ 98 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ OTHER • ᴅᴇsᴄ Jisoo excels at acting, with the ability to sing just a little. How well this will come into play in the show will need to be seen.

ʙᴏʀɴ 97 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ D • ᴅᴇsᴄ Dance was only supposed to be a hobby for Maki. But here she is representing BBC with only 6 months of trainee time, a resting frown face, and struggles with the Korean language to contend with. What she does have is diligence.

ʙᴏʀɴ 00 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ D/R/VI • ᴅᴇsᴄ A quiet girl filled to the brim with talent, Moon Chaewon has dreams and believes in herself despite her lack of charisma. Unfortunately TV isn't a good medium for nuance, and her trouble connecting to others often comes across as arrogance. Can she avoid the pitfalls of Mnet's editing and prove victorious? Or will she be just another victim of the game?

ʙᴏʀɴ 95 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ VO • ᴅᴇsᴄ Won Seoyun has been training for 6 years, but somehow the industry hasn't been able to beat the confidence and self-worth out of her. She knows exactly where her strengths lie, and if it's up to her then it's about time she got debuted, one way or another. As the oldest she takes on something of a big sister role for the Starship trainees, she never really had a choice in that but she's taken to it well. Her ducklings are her own, for now at least.

ʙᴏʀɴ 96 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ D • ᴅᴇsᴄ Ren Huiyin has only been in Korea for a few months and everything is still totally foreign to her. The inexperience and confusion mix with her sweet appearance to pretend a softness in her, but one could ask: did this little Chinese girl know what she was getting into?

ʙᴏʀɴ 97 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ VO • ᴅᴇsᴄ Missing out on WJSN still haunts Wang Sooyoung, but with her passivity who could blame Starship? The girl can sing, true, but she has zero charisma and Haeun overshadowers her in every way now. Part of her knows that it was over the moment Haeun joined the scene, and that part whispers

ʙᴏʀɴ 00 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ VO • ᴅᴇsᴄ Bright, warm Sunmi, with a stubborn streak as wide as her smile and as strong as her hugs. Her young age is a double edged sword, both a coupon for hard-headedness and an added load of academic stress.

ʙᴏʀɴ 99 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ R • ᴅᴇsᴄ The 'cool, chic' member of the TS trio, she is the second most skilled and stands out by being a rapper.

ʙᴏʀɴ 00 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ VI • ᴅᴇsᴄ Still learning to be an idol and struggling with what it entails, Taeyoung faces the possibility of not debuting and becoming an actress. While this isn't a horrible fate, it is not the one she currently wants.

ʙᴏʀɴ 03 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ VO • ᴅᴇsᴄ Yona's superpowers are cuteness and musical instinct, but the stage is her kryptonite. She's fine if her friends (security blankets) are facing the audience with her, but if she can't get comfortable with her team... oh dear...

ʙᴏʀɴ 99 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ VO/D/R • ᴅᴇsᴄ Being brutally bullied only made her meaner, not stronger, but she likes to see her waspish attitude now as impenetrable armor. Jinsil will protect herself with fire, whatever happens to her teammates and labelmates... or will she?

ʙᴏʀɴ 99 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ R/VO • ᴅᴇsᴄ Park Gido is KQ's golden child, she's a fantastic rapper and a good singer and has great charisma, the others are really just there to support her. Gido has the talent to go far, if only she gets the screentime to prove it.

ʙᴏʀɴ 97 • ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛ VO • ᴅᴇsᴄ Bright and full of energy, Taerin is a girl who knows what she wants, and she might actually achieve it if only she wouldn't slack off so much during practice.

Chapter 24: wow, the effort you put into this! im glad majority of the girls found some sort of success, i know that some if not all of the groups that debuted before/after the produce series are still struggling, so it’s nice to see a refresher! i don’t really know much about the other girls from urban works, but hopefully in this universe saebom could debut in the near future. as for hyowon, i'm still figuring out what exactly she'd do inbetween pd99 and d4u but i was planning for her to quit c9 right after the show as well and was never considered for cignature in the first place

Chapter 24: Thank you for doing this! I’m so glad Paradise finally made it. Was expecting NOTLIKE to be Cherry Bullet OT7 until I re-read and realised that only five members debuted but I love Secret Number too, and it was a pleasant surprise to see that SEALIE ended up doing Love So Sweet instead! It’s one of my favourite and what I think is Cherry Bullet’s cutest song, and the girls suit it so well. I also love ALFA6 as Everglow. Thank you for including Eunbi too, I had “killed” her for good long ago so that little blurb kind of served as an eulogy and I thought it was great. I do think Eunbi would do better as a model than an idol and glad to know that Maki is allegedly still training in BBC!

Chapter 23: Thanks for putting so much effort and time into this! I trul enjoyed it while it lasted. I really enjoyed the participation aspect of it and I’m definitely going to miss all the girls in the story since they all had unique personalities!

As for Rachel, I’ll let you decide what her fate should be! I’m sure you’ll come up with a better future for her than I would haha.

I’m still debating on sending you an app for Dream4U, but if I do, I will send over a brand new spanking character. But I will definitely follow the story!
