With how the day has gone, I should probably just stay holed up in my room or else risk being struck by lightning. However, duty calls as well as an annoyingly persistent person continuously ringing the apartment doorbell.

Not realizing the scowl on my face as I angrily whipped the door open, I quickly come to face my startled fiance with her hand raised mid-knock.

“Woah...Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. Something wrong?”

“Just had a really ty morning that’s all. Ummm what are you doing here?”

“Wow, you seem really excited to see me. I mean, I’m just your fiance who's worried ‘cause a certain someone hasn’t been answering my calls or texts since last night.”

“Oh . I’m so sorry. It seems like I can’t do anything right this morning…”

“We had a big fight. I just don’t know what to do…”

“Chanyeol, you guys fight all the time and you also make up pretty much instantaneously. All it takes is your annoying aegyo most of the time or you offering to treat her to food.”

“I just wanted to figure out why she’s being so weird and distant recently and it kinda went to from there…All I wanted were answers and now look what happened. She even hid the fact that she had an internship in France!”

“Wait...An internship in France?”

“Yeah, it’s at this big, famous patisserie. It seems like she applied without telling anyone and got accepted. She knew about it 2 months ago. 2 months, Joohyun! And not once, has she said anything even related to getting back to baking professionally.”
