Nayeon, Sunny and Sooyoung were in the dark forest, trying to find witches. Faries were best friends of witches. So, to get the hair of a fairy, they have to find witches first.

"Remember. No matter what happens, we are not to use our wands. Keep them safe or else, they will be stolen." Sunny reminded the two.

Nayeon, being a inquisitive bunny she was, asked, "So, where do witches live? Do they build houses, too?"

"Of course not, princess. They live in the trees of the dark forest. "

"The dark forest reminds me of the black forest cake! It makes me hungry, now." The inquisitive bunny had turned into an excited one.

"Princess, it is not a chocolate cake! It is a forest known for its darkness caused by the lack of sunlight entering the forest due to its many shady trees." Sunny seemed thirsty after her long explanation.

"I can't believe you don't know that, princess. Basically, even a five-year-old wizard knows it. It is prescribed in the textbook, too." Sooyoung mocked Nayeon.

"Really?! I don't recall being taught any of these." Nayeon said and looked at Sunny.

"You rarely remember whatever I teach you. Besides, you never concentrate on what I teach. Moreover, your notebook is full of drawings." Sunny refrained herself from smacking Nayeon's head.

Nayeon, on the other hand, noticed that so she grinned and said, "Of course not, emo. I concentrate on what you were teaching........ well, on you. I wanted to draw a good picture of you."

While the teacher and the student were bickering, Sooyoung said, "We're here. The deepest place of the dark forest."

"I have a question." There goes the princess.

"What question?"

"We all know that we're in the middle of the forest. Then why is it the deepest place? Shouldn't the end be called the deepest?"

Hearing what Nayeon asked, Sunny and Sooyoung looked at each other. They were speechless, mentally cursing her for asking such a question.

Out of the blue, Sooyoung said, " You are supposed to be the smart one. You answer this question."

Sunny sighed, " Princess, do I really have to answer that? We're here to carry out an important mission."

"Okay. Okay. I got it. Let's take care of the 'important' thing first."

"You know, princess, questions should only be asked at the right time and right place." Sooyoung was getting on her nerves but Nayeon said nothing in return. She was trying hard to find the witches. But the strange thing was that they couldn't feel any witch near them.

"Why does this place look abandoned? Don't tell me the spell that the princess casted with the sceptre affected this place,too!!" Sooyoung panicked.

"I don't think so. The dark forest is a part of the mortal world." Sunny stated.

"Then where are the witches?" Nayeon joined the conversation.

"Wait a minute! I think I heard something." Sooyoung said, causing the silence that they had not had for a long time. Then, all three of them heard it.

"Come! Let's find out." Sunny leaded the way to the source of the sound. There, they found a group of witches. They hid behind the bushes.

"Are they cooking something in that big pot?" Nayeon asked Sunny.

"I think they are making a potion. And for god's sake, that 'big pot' is called a cauldron, princess. How many times do I have to tell you?!" Sunny might be in a dangerous situation but she never forgot to scold Nayeon for not paying attention in her studies.

Nayeon just ignored the last part that Sunny said. After all, she had been getting Sunny's scold for the last fifteen years of her life. She got familiar with that.

"Why don't we go and ask for a fairy's hair now. They must have it, don't they?" She said.

"No, we can't. Witches don't have wands. Instead, they use incantations. Try disturbing them now and we will be their enemies for life." Sooyoung explained.

So, the three wizards waited for the incantation to come to an end.

"To make a simple potion, that's a hell lot of incantation they have to chant." Sunny said.

"I agree." Sooyoung said, looking at Sunny. The two were lost in each other's eyes until Nayeon decided to in.

"I think you two should go and talk to them." After a few minutes, the witches seemed to have finished what they were doing.

"We can use this for the mortals." The three wizards heard what one of the witches said. They were surprised to hear that the witches made a potion for the mortals but shrugged off anyway.

"Excuse me," Sunny said, earning look from the witches.

Witches were exactly like them but wore black cloaks.

"Mortals?" asked one of the witches.

"No. We're here because we want the hair of a fairy." Sunny replied.

"Fairies and witches are no longer friends. They chose to ally with the wizard council and find royal wizards."

"How could that happen?" Sooyoung asked but it was too late. They were already gone, riding their brooms.

"I think the fairies found out that the council is searching the royal wizards due to the spell. That was what made witches lose fairies. They are now trying to ally with mortals." Sunny said.

"I don't understand what you are talking about. But it seems bad. Well, go on." Nayeon said.

Sometimes, both Sunny and Sooyoung didn't even dare to imagine the wizard world's future in the hands of their very own anything-but-smart princess, Im Nayeon. But both chose to state nothing about it.

Ignoring the princess, Sunny continued. "Witches need ones who trust them for their spells to be powerful. They had fairies but they no longer do. That leaves them with only each other to trust. And it is not enough for them."

"But entering into an alliance with mortals is not a good idea. They will use magic in bad ways," said Nayeon.

"We can't do anything about it. You know that, princess. Witches hate to be controlled."

"Then, is it the time for us to return to the wizard world?"

"I don't think this is a good time, Sooyoung-ah. We've got to have a plan. We can't just go and ask for a fairy's hair. They'll know that we are going to use the love spell."

"Okay then
