An update to celebrate Taeyeon’s album!! Enjoy!

Yoona woke up as she felt thousands of volts flowing through her body.

“Ouch, it hurts!”

Nayeon, who was supposed to be between herself and Taeyeon, was nowhere to be seen. She thought she must have touched the woman beside her unknowingly. Yoona was worried if she hurt the other woman but no, the latter was still in her deep slumber.

“How are you now?” Jessica asked, standing by the window and looking through it.

“How long have you been in here?”

“A few minutes before you woke up. How are you feeling?”

“I’m fit and sound again.”

“No, I mean about Taeyeon.”

Yoona kept her silence. She knew that somewhere in her heart, there was a place for Taeyeon and she was longing for her. She did not want to leave Taeyeon, on the other hand did she not want to hurt Jessica.

“I get it. You love Taeyeon. You might have loved me before she appeared in your life. Then you lost your memories and you believed that you are in love with me because of the things I’ve told you. But in reality, Taeyeon… she has your heart.”

“Sica… I’m sorry.”

“Don’t. I understand. You have Nayeon, too. That kid needs both of you more than anyone else. I don’t want to destroy a family. Take care.”

“Why do I feel like you are going to leave?”

“Because I am leaving.”

“B- But why? Why are you going?”

“It’s not because I had to let you go. I’m going to find Yerin and A.D. I’ll come back once I’ve found them.”

“What?! You are doing this alone?! That’s too dangerous.”

“I’ve made up my mind.” With that, Jessica disappeared.

Yoona sighed and hoped that Jessica would be fine. She looked at Taeyeon. The latter was slowly opening her eyes.

“H- Hey…” Yoona did not know why she was stuttering. Her heart, it was beating fast and loud. Taeyeon looked beautiful. For Yoona, she felt as if Taeyeon was someone whom she had been waiting for.

“Yoongie”

‘Good morning, Yoongie. I love you.’ A blurred memory somehow made its way into her head. The voice sounded a lot like Taeyeon, and she found it cute.

“How are you feeling? I’m sorry I can’t help you up. You know what happens when I touch you.”

“I’m fine. But I’m still weak and I don’t think I can get up.”

 “Hmm… do you need anything?”

Taeyeon shook her head. “Nayeon?” she asked for her daughter.

“She is fine, but I think she is still sullen.”

“Sullen? Oh, I guess you’ve found out.”

Yoona nodded.

“It’s okay if you want to be with Jessica. The years that you have spent together with me and Nayeon… I think it’s enough for me. Nayeon will understand as time goes on. She can’t stay mad at you forever.”

Taeyeon put effort in covering up her trembling voice and acting nonchalant. But Yoona noticed that. She felt like she knew Taeyeon well.

“Jessica has left to find Yerin and A.D. I’ll take care of you and Nayeon. I’ll-”

“Until Jessica comes back? I-”
“Forever, throughout my life. I’ll look after my wife and my daughter.”

Yoona could see tears forming in Taeyeon’s eyes. She very much wanted to give the shorter a hug full of love.

“Yoongie…” Taeyeon started crying.

“Don’t cry. You are making me want to hug you. It’s frustrating.”

“Are you sure about that? Being with us?”

“I’ve never been so sure in my life.”

“I missed you.”

 “I want to hug you so bad now if it was possible.” Yoona lay beside Taeyeon. “I want to regain my memories, or at least have these volts between us disappear.”

“I think it is a curse by A.D. she doesn’t want us to be together.”

“Hey, about our daughter, is Jeongyeon really her wife and Chaeyoung her daughter?”

Taeyeon smiled. “I always tell you my secrets. You know everything I know.”

“But I don’t remember anything now.” Yoona said, poking the shorter’s nose jokingly.

“Ouch!” The Queen pouted, earning a laugh from her spouse.

“Nayeon must have inherited such cute acts from you.”

“And her mischievous nature from you.”

“She said the same thing last night. And about what I asked…”

“Yeah.”

“Yeah? I thought they were just pretending.”

“They used to be involved with each other… passionately.”

“I don’t get it.”

“As I said, our daughter is a troublemaker just like you. She used to come here, this mortal world, a lot when she was younger. She did that because you let her.”

“I did?”

“She met Jeongyeon one day and fell in love with her. What we found out later was that she was secretly married to Jeongyeon and she was pregnant, too. I tested the child inside her. It was a girl with wizard blood and no abnormality was detected. I was relieved. Momo was my twin sister’s daughter. My sister and her spouse passed away in a war between wizards and witches. Momo has nothing to do with Jeongyeon. She was in love with a wizard named Mina. We met Jeongyeon much later and that was when my worries started.”

“Why were you worried?”

“Because Jeongyeon is the child I saved. She is A.D.’s daughter.”

“So you mean… she isn’t a mortal?”
