Nayeon went out to get Sunny. Jeong didn't understand how Sunny could save her mom. Neither did she care, also. All she wanted was for her mom to be fit and sound again. She could not afford to lose her yet. When her dad and wife passed away, she had had a hard time. Although she and her dad had some minor disagreements, she still loves him.

In fact, such things seemed trivial when she realized that he could no longer be with her. The only major disagreement she had with him was magic. Her dad hated magic... as much as she was a fan of it. Thinking of which, she remember her favourite magician A.D.'s magic show was postponed for a day. She would not go there. She had to take care of her mom.

She heard her phone ring. It was a man who used to work under her father. He was also an adviser. He worked under Jeongyeon then, and he was the only one who could knock some sense into her head. So she answered the phone.

< "Oppa, if you are going to talk about what happened yesterday, I will hang off now. I have nothing to say."

"You have nothing to say?! Jeongyeon, are you even in your right mind?!! People are starting to hate you. They are saying that you betrayed Yerin. Plus, they want you to make an apology to Yerin.. publicly."

"Oppa, they are the ones not in their right mind, I am. Besides, Yerin should be the one apologizing me, not the other way round. And if I am sorry to the public about one thing, it is that I came to lie that I have a wife and a daughter."

"So you mean all of this is true?! And you made this mess without even discussing with me? And Jeongyeon, people don't care if you have a wife and a daughter or not. What they care is that you are playing Yerin's heart. Yerin is the victim in their eyes and an apology from you is all they want."

"I'm also trying to solve this, oppa. But now isn't the right time. Mom is sick. She needs me. My family needs me."

"Fine then. If you can't come up with a solution, just go along with Yerin's plan."

"What? Yerin has a plan? She hates me. There's no way she will offer to help me. What is she trying to do?"

"Yes. Yerin's plan. I told you, you don't have a choice. You and Yerin are taking part in A.D.'s magic show. She is close with A.D."

"That's nonsense!"

"You can't choose, Jeongyeon and that's final!! You are all over the news!" He hung up.

"Sh*t!" Jeongyeon threw her phone.

Nayeon went to her new home. She thought there was no one home. The whole house was dead quiet. But in the living room sat Sunny and Sooyoung, motionless.

"Is there any rule like no talking in this house...?"

The two did not reply. They just looked at Nayeon, a hint of worry in their face.

"What's happening?"

"Princess, the Queen locked herself up in the room. We could hear her sobbing. It has been almost a day," explained Sunny.

"We tried to talk to her and she told us not to disturb."

Of course, Nayeon was beyond worried. She had never seen her mommy this fragile. The Taeyeon she knew was the strong and fearless Queen of the wizard world. Nayeon guessed she might have seen her omma. Nayeon walked to her room and she was about to knock when she realized that her mommy would not let her in. So she flashed herself into the room without permission.

There, she saw her mommy, on the bed, hugging her knees and crying. It pained her to see her mommy in that state, vulnerable and delicate.

"Doors exist for a reason." The Queen said without looking at her daughter.

"I know. I used magic because you would not let me in even if I knocked..."

"What are you here for?"

"Doesn't mommy want to see her baby?" Nayeon said, walking to the bed and hugging the woman.

"You are too old to be a baby." Taeyeon chuckled a bit. She knew felt good to have her daughter by her side even when she was so emotional.

Nayeon pouted, "Oh, am I replaced now?", earning a look from Taeyeon. It was when Nayeon saw her mommy's face clearly. She wiped the tears on her face.
