On January 13, 2012 Imagine Music's (a subsidy under SM Entertainment) second girl group PhantasY debuted with Me Gusta Tu. With their innocent and lovable concept the group easily gained Korea's attention amidst all the other rookie groups, Making a swift comeback with Mr. Chu and having later hits with Diva, No No No and Number Nine, PhantasY proved they had what was necessary to become one of the top girl groups. After four long years filled with sweat, blood, tears and sleepless nights, what seemed to be the impossible was announced. At the finale of PhantasY's first solo tour it was announced that two members were going to be leaving the group due to personal circumstances and career conflicts. Rumors immediately arose, many wondered if it was due to discord between the group and label. Forums were flooded with conspiracy theories - after all their bond was seen as one of KPop's strongest...
PhantasY, meaning "Your Fantasy", is also based off of the Greek God Phantasos, the God of rich and imagery filled dreams.
PhantasY are a group of
beautiful young women that are viewed as the "perfect girlfriends"
and "perfect daughter-in-laws".

Hey there! This is my third girl group and I'm super excited about it! I've been planning it for awhile and plan on focusing on more of the behind-the-scenes actions (but who knows with me!). I would say PhantasY's popularity isn't Girls' Generation level but somewhere between KARA and T-ARA at their peaks! So they're doing very well for a female group!
