She sat on the cool wood floor, her knees drawn towards her chest with her ankles crossed, her thin arms loosely wrapped around her knobbly knees. Her beautiful face twisted into an ugly grimace, portraying the pure disgust that ran through her system as the days contents ran through her head. Her heart was heavy in her chest, tight. Her large eyes were red rimmed - no more tears could be produced.
Her thoughts raced just as fast as the cars below her did, her eyes unseeing towards the large window ahead of her. Her ears were deaf to the pelts of the rain drops bouncing harmlessly off the glass. The world before her didn't exist - only her dark, swirling thoughts did.
The girl was so engrossed within her mind she barely took notice of the three other bodies that shuffled over to huddle up to her. The four cuddled together with numerous blankets, no words needing to be spoken. They all simply looked out the same window, unseeing.
Their manager found them in the same position the next morning.
