ELEVEN
Moment Of Truth“He said you are here because of me…”
“It’s true.” Seungri seemed taken aback, I can even tell he didn’t believe me, but most of all he looked a little… hurt?
Seunghyun appeared just in time to break the awkward atmosphere and I didn’t have to elaborate my answer. He looked at Seungri and then at me a couple of times before announcing that his driver was waiting for us.
The dinner went well, we didn’t talk much between us, but I was able to see a side of Seungri that left me in awe. Even though he didn’t know much about the wine business he was there supporting our hyung, that was everything but a business man, he ask the right questions and help him when hyung didn’t know how to express himself.
But, I also had to find out things I wish haven’t. Like the fact that Seungri was seeing someone.
“So, are you meeting this Chinese girl over the weekend?”
We could have finished the evening without me knowing about it. We were eating dessert, and I suddenly felt sick, I search maknae’s eyes but he was avoiding me. He kept looking to the person who asked him the question, but I could see he was tense, that means he could feel my gaze over him.
“It’s the first time in a while that I have saw you this enthusiastic about dating someone. And she seems pretty interested in you.”
Of course she was interested, Seungri was famous, and a successful business man, but above all that, he was intelligent, kind, generous, interesting, fun, a little self-centered sometimes but he didn’t mean bad. So it wasn’t a surprise that said girl was interested in him.
What surprised me even more was that Seunghyun hyung knew about it.
“She laughed at my jokes… she looked nice.”
Apparently he already knew her in person.
We were finally on our way back to Seunghyun house, but I wasn’t having any of this.
“So… since when are you dating again? The last time you said you had a girlfriend she didn’t even knew she was dating you.”
I used to spend a lot of time in Japan due to promotions, and Seungri would came to for business meetings, since we spend so much time over there it was natural that we get to meet a lot of people. On one occasion he told me about a Japanese girl he had been seeing, she happened to be friends with Kiko, that was my girlfriend, but when I asked the said girl she told me that she wasn’t dating him.
“What do you know about my dating life? We haven’t have a real conversation in years, you can’t possibly know what I’ve been doing in that specific matter… not that you care anyways.”
“You will always be my maknae, of course I care, and I always know.”
“What are you talking about? You know nothing…”
Why was he getting mad at me? It was the truth, even if I didn’t talk to him I will always found a way to be informed about his wellbeing.
