THE DAY AFTER WENDY CONFESSED

Joohyun’s POV

I slowly opened my eyes. Then rubbed them slowly. I yawned as I sit up on the bed. And then it goes again. Wendy popping out in my mind as I woke up. Yesterday, she confessed her feelings to me Yesterday, Seungwan likes me. Thinking about this, my lips started to curve up in a smile. But then I realized it, I shook my head while putting the smiling face away. 
“Unnie, I-I think I l-like you” her voice from yesterday appeared in my mind again. My hands make its way to my lips and slowly caress them as the memory of her pecking my lips popped out of my mind. I close my eyes as I realized what I was doing and I decided to fight off the giddy feeling that Yesterday gaved me 
My hands suddenly grabed my phone on the bedside table and I texted Wendy if she is coming to school with me.

Me:
Seungwan-ah! Going to school together?

I waited for her reply while still looking at my phone.

Four minutes… One more minute then I’ll go to her house my self and ask her whats keeping her busy.

Okay that’s it Bae Joohyun, get ready for school.

I ate, brushed my teeth, took a bath, and wore my uniform..

After that I bid mom goodbye before heading to the Son’s.

I pressed the doorbell and a few seconds later , Mr. Son greeted me with his pajamas still on. So I decided to ask him what’s going on.

“Aren’t you going to work, Uncle?”

“ah!” he said while he looked at his pajamas. 

“Sorry dear I can’t drive you to school today because no one will take care of Wendy”

My brows turn into a frown when I heard what Uncle had just said

“Wendy? What happened to Wendy?”

“Why won’t you come inside and check her yourself”

Then Uncle opened the door and I headed upstairs.

I heard several coughs in her room before knocking and entering her room. 

“Wendy. It’s me”

“Irene Unnie? *coughs*”

“Seunhwan-ah, are you okay?” I asked while I walk towards her bed when I saw her all wraped with a thick blanket.

“Irene Unnie, you should go to school first” Wendy said with her eyes worried

“You have a flu?” I ask her while I put my right hand in her neck and the back of my left hand at her forehead.

Her eyes widen about my sudden interaction.

I quickly pulled my hand away after I realized what I was doing.

“Seu-Seungwan ah, About ye—”

“Joohyun-Ah! You’ll be late for school” Uncle interupted me 

I looked at him and smiled.

“It’s okay, I’ll look after Seungwan” 

“No, Dear, Go to school, I’ll stay with her and you can come back after you finish your class okay?”

I looked at Wendy asking her with my eyes if that is okay and she nodded.

So I bid goodye to the Son’s before walking my way to school.

I listening to the songs which which Wendy and I have wrote and was recorded by her then someone pulled my earphones out of my ears and started talking.

“Joohyun, so how is it?”

“Huh?” I ask Solar Unnie because I’m not sure what she is telling me 

“Did you already tell your bestfriend that you like her?”

So that’s what it. About Wendy

“Uh, Not yet Unnie, I was about to earlier but I was cut off because I’m late” I said shyly

“Better tell her what you feel, Joohyun” 

But then, questions filled my mind again.

Do I like her?

Wendy Son Seungwan as my girlfriend?

My bestfriend………….

I already like her?

Am I really?

But then I suddenly realized… I think I’m going insane if I can’t see her face for a day.

And I knew it…

I …

Am….

Falling….

For Wendy.

It was just me who keeps on denying my own feelings towards my bestfriend. I was the first one to fall from two of us. 

“Joohyun!” Solar Unnie said while waving her hands at me 

“Huh? Unnie?” I asked again while looking at her.

“I said do you want me to help you confess to her?”

But then I think of her offer…

“No thanks” I said while smiling.

Because I know when will I confess, 

I’ll confess to her next week, On the exact date of my birthday..

JAPAN (PRESENT TIME) (Author’s POV)

“Mom! Enough! I said I don’t want to get married to Jimin okay!?” A tall girl shouted at her mother.

After hearing this, the Mother brought her hands up and slapped her daughter.And the young girl just held her now painful cheeks

“Your father and me didn’t used our own blood and sweat for you to be useless like that, You know that!?” The mother told her daughter angrily

“I’m not a toy!” The girl fired up. “I don’t want to marry someone I don’t love, I don’t love Jimin, I don’t feel anything towards him,Mom, and I know I will never be . So don’t wait for me until I’m 18, My feelings wont change” The young girl told her Mother

“How Dare You! You’re an embarassment to this family! Get of here! You don’t deserve to be a Kang! From now on you’re not my daughter!” The mother blurted out.

“Then I won’t be a Kang” The girl said and headed for her room to pack some clothes.

SEULGI’s POV

So what If I am not a Kang? I Can live as Seulgi and not Miss Kang- heir of the Flarinova Company, right?

I sat down to the waiting area and took out the photo in my pocket.

And I suddenly realized something, It’s her birtjday next week…
I looked at the photo and smiled.

“How are you, Joohyun Unnie?”
