~Yumi~

I felt the dizziness disappearing as I felt some ache around the shoulder part. In a very uncomfortable position, I slowly opened my eyes as I tried to adjust to the place that I had been brought to. My consciousness came slowly and I started to think. I looked around, not recognizing this place but I saw the open fire along with the creamlike furniture.

I felt myself being attached, locked up and I tried to move but was unable to. I looked at the handcuff that was attached to the heater against the wall.

"Wow you're awake? I thought I gave you enough to sleep about 100 years from here"

Kibum entered the room with a glass of wine and I immediately remembered what had happened

"Let me go. Now" I said angrily

"I can't do that. I made a deal with JaeJoong and I am a man of my words. Hard to believe but yes" Kibum said

"Is this really necessarily?!" I shouted and stared at the handcuff

"Oh uhm.. I thought about that while driving here. My answer is..Yes" He smiled

"You are so .."

"Pathetic, , bastard. I know all of them"

"You can't do this to me!" I said frustrated, feeling my chest getting heavier and heavier

"Hmm.. as in matter of fact I can and I am doing it right now. I thought about this and I promised to let your breathe, which means you staying alive while the guys are fighting"

I swallowed hard

"Where are they?"

"Preparing I guess" He shrugged

"You're not in contact with them?" I asked

"I am. I got this lovey dovey message from JaeJoong to read for you. I tried to not vomit but well I'm not going anywhere near you so I'll just have to vomit this time" He rolled his eyes as he took out his phone

He flicked it open and tapped a bit before he rolled his eyes

"I love you Yumi. Please understand why I'm doing this. It's for your own good. I'll be back to get you soon. Just wait for a few hours"

He closed the phone and gulped the last glass of wine

I sobbed quietly

"Do not cry" He said suddenly

"I do whatever I want" I sobbed

"He'll be here soon and all that sobbing and crying would be for nothing"

I stood up, still attached and locked up but I stared at Kibum who just sat there on the couch, looking at me with his legs crossed

"How can you be so cold hearted?!"

"I'm a hunter. I'm suppose to be like this"

"You're not supposed to be or to do anything. You make your own choices"

"We don't have that much of a choice you silly human"

"You were once a human as well"

That shut him up. He then stood up and looked at me

"Are you really ready to sacrifice all of this just to be with him? he's a vampire. He cannot give you what you need"

"For me it's enough to be with him"

"And when the talk about future comes? Children? marriage?" Kibum asked

"I live in the present and take one step at the time. I do not need to rush"

"Well you got a point there since he has eternity to wait for you. Time is unlimited for us"

"Which can soon be limited"

Kibum sighed

"What exactly do you not understand Yumi? That you are a human and that all vampires would love to drain your body out of blood or that you can simply do something right for once and just sit here and wait like a good girl?"

"I cannot bear the pain of knowing that JaeJoong might die"

Kibum looked at me as tears strolled down my face. I felt my wrist hurting but that was nothing compared to the pain that was starting to build up inside of my chest

"I can't let him die Kibum. Can't you understand that? You would have done the same thing for her wouldn't you?"

Kibum stared at me, speechless

"I need to be there. I can distract them while he have a chance at killing them. Do you really think the battle will be over once he's dead? They will come after me" I whispered

"And I swore to protect you"

"But can't you understand that sometimes we need to balance the protection? There must be a way for me to help you!" I said frustrated, hearing the clock ticking, knowing that the time was running out

Suddenly something was heard and I saw Kibum taking out his phone, flicking it open

He then closed it and looked at me

"It started"
