Never in my life had I ever felt so helpless. I never thought, I never knew that even Vampires could cry. I didn't cry, I just remembered the feeling of wanting to cry. It was as if the big ball inside my throat was blocking me, my voice and words and I couldn't find any words in the world vocalbulary, any words that would be enough to comfort and make Yumi stop crying

I saw Changmin looking at me helplessly and I couldn't even move as I looked back into his eyes, feeling the sorrow that he was feeling for the pain that was causing and making Yumi's heart ache at the moment

All five of us just stood there, completely silent as if we were waiting for a good moment to appear so that we could her away from Donghae but she just lied there, across his body while crying. Is there even a possibility of a human having so much tears inside of them? How is that even possible?

Yumi never stopped crying and her tears was absorbed by the bloody sweater that Donghae was wearing. I was cursing Yuri, cursing her, wanting to pay back but there was nothing I could do at the moment because I had no idea where she was and that was driving me crazy. Being a vampire brought me a lot of advantages, the sense of hearing, smelling, the speed, the strength and yet none of them were any of a help at the moment

Suddenly I saw Yoochun approach Yumi. He bended down onto her height and he was quiet as he released her hard grip around Donghae

Yumi was quietly crying, sobbing her heart out as Yoochun tried to get her hug him instead and when she was able to, Yoochun took her away from Donghae's body and I looked at Changmin who knew what had to be done

"I'll do it" I whispered

My words apparently reached Yumi's ears as the wall around her disappeared and she instantly got up and blocked me from getting closer to Donghae

"Wh..a.a.at. are..  y o ouu  doing?" She stuttered, trying to breathe as she was crying

I enjoyed seeing her blush, seeing her embarrassed. I loved it because her color on her cheeks was able to give her this glow that would make her glow so beautifully, her aura became so much more amusing. But now.. the color that I saw in front of me was just heartbreaking. Red swollen eyes, red nose and unstoppable tears falling

"We have to burn it.. Yumi. We have to burn the body" I whispered as I tried to approach her

She shook her head tiredly, sadly and so full of hurt that it almost made me want to fall down on my knees, beg her to stop crying

"You.. can't" She sobbed

"We have to"

"He can't be burned"

"We can't let him rot like this" I whispered

She suddenly threw herself at me and I caught her instantly as she cried onto my shoulder while I was holding her tightly, burying myself into her hair, hoping and wishing that somehow, that I could transfer all her pain to me so that I would endure it in her place. I don't know how much her heart can take

I nodded towards the guys which got the signal and quietly, they moved Donghae's body and out into the woods, running fast as hell while I was hoping dearly that Yumi would stop crying. I took a hold of her and in a second she was off the ground and in my embrace and I ran upstairs which she didn't seem to notice until we arrived in my bedroom and I let her sit down on my bed while leaning onto me.

I arrived at the livingroom as I saw all the guys standing at different spots as all of them qere deadly silent, probably worrying and thinking about Yumi.

It was almost dawn and I wasn't sure how long Yumi had been crying but for now at least, she was sleeping tiredly, exhausted at the chaos that her emotions made her feel

"How.. is she?" Yunho whispered and approached me as I sat down on the armchair

"She's.. in.. so much pain" I whispered

"I've never.. seen a human cry so much in my .. entire life" Junsu whispered sadly

"We've been vampires for a long time" I said

"What did it make you feel?" Junsu asked

"I felt so helpless. We're stronger, faster, better and yet... none of those abilities were able to help us in this situation" I whispered

"I've never heard my heart break, feeling it and yet.. I heard it piece by piece falling apart as I watched the pain that Yumi was in. How painful wasn't that?" Changmin said

"I agree, it was so nervewrecking, frustrating not being able to help her" Yoochun said

"I guess we're not that.. invincible after all" Yunho whispered

The silence took over as I drank some blood that Junsu handed me. We were all quiet, not knowing what we should do next. I was thinking about Yuri, feeling the thirst of wanting to kill her and yet, I wasn't able to. I had to think about Yumi first

"Yuri just declared herself a war" Changmin said, interrupting the silence

"I know" I whispered

"And this is not our fight" Yoochun whispered

"But we have a part in it" I said and stood up

"Think about it, who is going to end up hurt if not Yumi? Do you want to see her cry again? Feeling pain again?" Yoochun asked

"She has to.. it's life experience" I whispered, knowing that I didn't mean any of it

"No one should ever be forced to go through that kind of thing. Are you insane?" Yoochun asked

"I know I am" Kibum said and entered the room

All of us spun around and watched Kibum enter the room

"What do you want? It's not a good time to pick a fight right now" I said tiredly, even though I wasn't really tired anywhere except for my brain

"Look guys, you won't be able to protect her forever" Kibum said

"We can and we will!!!" I said angrily

"I have a better option" Kibum said and looked at me

"I doubt that"

"It's better than anything else" Kibum said

"Spit it out" I growled

"She will go through the pain, she will watch her beloved ones die.. Either you kill Yuri or you turn her into a vampire"

"Turn her into a vampire? Now I got the confirmation that you are really mad" I said angrily

"And you seriously don't think that Yumi would go after Yuri now? Isn't that what she wants? So that she kan kill Yumi in front of your eyes? Turning Yumi into a vampire means that you're equal. She will be equal with all of us. Don't you get it?"

"No you don't get it. We would never force her into the life of a vampire" Changmin said

"Who said anything about forcing, give her a the possibility to consider it"

"Over my dead body" I snapped

"It's not your decision to make" Kibum said

"As long as I'm still alive, and still on my two feet, I won't let her. I would never give her the option of becoming a vampire"

"And what are you going to do? Protect her until she's old and her beloved ones as well? are you sure you are capable of doing that?" Kibum asked

"I'm capable of doing anything when it comes to her. No limits, no regrets"
