I was staring at him as if my eyeballs were coming out any minute now. Donghae smiled happily at me as I smiled back at him. How long has it been? 3 or 4 years since he moved away?

"DONGHAE!" I gasped

"Yumi!"

I was about to run towards him when an iron grip was grasped around my wrist. I spun around and faced JaeJoong who had a uneasy expression on his face

"You.. know him?" JaeJoong asked

I nodded

"That's my friend.. He moved away 3-4 years ago in order to study abroad and seems like he's back. Let me go!" I said

JaeJoong released me and I ran towards Donghae who had grown taller, a lot more handsome than he used to be and he had muscles. Amazing that I could feel that as soon as he embraced me

"When did you become so pretty?" Donghae joked as he smiled happily at me

"Haven't I always been? So you're saying that I used to be ugly?" I said and pouted

Donghae laughed and roughed my hair

"So what brings you here?" He asked and looked around

"Oh, I was hanging around with my friends, this is JaeJoong, Changmin, Junsu and Yunho. Yoochun.. well you already met him" I smiled

"Yeah"

A weird atmosphere approached us and it was very weird. Almost tense, as if everyone was really angry

"So you're Donghae?" Changmin asked

"Yes, I'm Lee Donghae, Best friend of Yumi's and I think I was her first love" Donghae said

He really didn't need to say that cause instantly I felt my blood rushing faster than ever, my heart beating like crazy and my cheeks became warm. Donghae chuckled playfully and roughed my hair once again as I just smiled embarrassed back at him

"First.. love huh?" JaeJoong asked and folded his arms

Donghae nodded

"That's right. Haven't seen her for 4 years now. Studying in America was the best time of my life. Although I regret leaving you here" Donghae said and looked at me

I chuckled

"How did you know I was here?" I asked curiously

"I asked your aunt. She said you were out at your friend's house but when I got there, you weren't there and she said that you were here. I thought you hated this place?" Donghae asked confused

"She used to" Changmin said coldly

I did notice the atmosphere becoming even more tense than ever and to judge by Changmin's word just now, it seems like they didn't like him

"Apparently" Donghae snapped

And there was also the answer to my question, Donghae didn't like them either

"So what do you say? Let's go back home. I can't wait to have dinner" Donghae smiled

"Have.. dinner?" I asked

"Your aunt and uncle invited me. So I thought I should bring you home" Donghae smiled

I wasn't really ready to leave yet, I didn't want to as in matter of fact because there were still lots of things I wanted to talk about with the guys but I couldn't refuse and let Donghae go by himself back to the house since he had already driven all the way out here to get me. I spun around and looked at JaeJoong who smiled gently at me

"I promise to make you another round of pancakes. You should go" He said

I smiled happily and nodded

I then looked at Changmin who suddenly looked... Disappointed I think but he nodded as well

"I'll go and get the car ready..how about you go upstairs and pack your stuff?" Donghae said

I nodded

Even though my body was frozen, I was still boiling. I wanted to kill him

I had to hold myself back, keep my mouth shut since I didn't want to hurt Yumi's feelings. I didn't want to utter a thing.

"She's coming" Yoochun said

I spun around to see her fully dressed, ready to go. I walked towards her and fixed her scarf and her hair. She was looking at me with a pair of embarrassed eyes and her cheeks blushing fully. I couldn't help but to smile at the cute expression she was having. It's amazing what blood can do to a girl. She becomes so much more beautiful when you know that you can make her blush with just an action or an gesture. Moreover, her heart, I was able to hear it clearly

"If you want, come back and sleep here again. We'll always have a room for you" I said and looked at her

Her eyes was a bit surprised but then she just nodded

"Promise me? About the pancakes? I'm so sorry I didn't get to eat everything"

I shook my head and chuckled lightly

"Just enjoy your time.. with.. Donghae" I mumbled

She nodded

She then said her goodbyes and left and I went back to the couch as I sat down, listening to the tires of Donghae slowly fading away along the road

"Who's he?" Junsu said while gritting his teeth

"Coming her and taking her away from us" Changmin said angrily

"Apparently someone who has known her for a long time and also her first love" I said

"That's not important" Yunho said

I nodded in agreement

"Do you think she knows?" I asked

"Knows what?" Junsu asked

I sighed

"You didn't hear his heart beat right?"

"I didn't pay attention to that since I was caught up with something else" Changmin said

"You should have.." Yoochun said

Changmin shrugged innocently

I stood up and walked over to the fire place as I looked into it. After a few minutes I spun around

I sighed

"He's a vampire"
