December 5: Write (ChangRick)

It started as a pen pal program, something that was supposed to look good on his college resume. The program was between his high school, Daesung High, and the sister school miles away. Jonghyun was given the name, age, and interests of his pen pal. If he was honest, he really didn't want to do the pen pal program but he needed to look good for future employers. So once he got his pen pal, Changhyun, Jonghyun looked at his interests and was interested to know they shared similar hobbies. Changhyun liked to dance, as well as singing and fashion. He liked hip hop and r&b, something that Jonghyun listened to religiously. 

So Jonghyun typed out his email, happy that he didn't have to write a letter and probably wait days to get a response. He wrote about his day, how his teacher had sprung a surprise quiz on them but he had been ready. He kept everything short and blunt and sent the email, happy the school provided the email address and the system to send them in. He didn't have to wait long. His phone buzzed and he checked it, raising his eyebrow at the fast response. 

He opened it, laughing at the cute response.

I at tests! I don't do well under pressure unless it's dancing or modeling an outfit my friend made for me. I was surprised to see that we had sorta the same likes. How often do you dance? I've been struggling to execute this one dance move, like it's a twirl that moves right into a backflip and I have sooooo much trouble with gaining momentum. Do you like the color yellow? I tried on this yellow sweater and Idk if it looks good on me. Maybe you could give me a second opinion?

Jonghyun opened the picture that accompanied the email and gulped at the sight of a baby faced cutie, dressed in an oversized sweater. He nibbled on his bottom lip, thanking the gods he was paired up with a cute guy. He saved the picture and played it cool, subtly complimenting Changhyun.

The sweater looks good, so does the boy in it. I was thinking of buying a pair of burgundy skinny jeans to match my black skull jacket. I'm in the dance club so every other day I'm thinking of new choreo. 

Jonghyun smiled as he sent the email, looking at the picture Changhyun sent him. He was very much Jonghyun's type and thankfully, didn't live too far away. Maybe he could ask him out later when they got to know each other more.
