December 12: Collide (Changrick)

Changhyun knew that he was clumsy, like he fell on his constantly. But this time it wasn't his fault. It wasn't like he was in a rush since his next class wasn't for another two hours but he wanted to get something to eat and relax, maybe even study a little bit. And maybe he should turn corners a bit slower but as Changhyun laid on the floor, his books and papers all over the floor, he cursed up a storm. His back and head hurt from the impact of the harsh concrete. He groaned as he opened his eyes, looking up at the very handsome stranger who had run into him with his skateboard. 

The stranger held out his hand, his face pinched in worry. “Hey are you ok? I'm so sorry for hitting you with skateboard. I totally didn't see you there.”

Changhyun took the hand, his head a little woozy from the collision. He propped his his left hand against the stranger's chest in order to stabilize himself. He looked up at the stranger before glancing down at his papers, thankfully the wind wasn't taking them away. “My back hurts but other than that, I'm fine.” 

The stranger chuckled, leaving Changhyun standing as he bent down to pick up Changhyun's papers. “Here, sorry for that. I hope I'm not making you later for anything.” 

Changhyun shook his head, taking his things from the stranger. He dusted himself off and arched his back to relieve some of the pain. “Nah, my class isn't for another two hours. I was just hoping to get a burger and do some studying.” The stranger hummed, moving his skateboard with his foot while putting his hands into his pockets. “Sounds nice.” He held out his hand, “I'm Jonghyun, sorry again for the skateboard hit and almost run.”

Changhyun laughed, taking Jonghyun's hand and shaking it. “I'm Changhyun. It's ok, I'm super clumsy so this is nothing to me.”

Jonghyun laughed, “Sounds like you go through a lot of bandaids.” Changhyun sighed, nodding. “I do. But I go through more ointment than anything. Well that and hot chocolate.”

The wind picked up and Changhyun shivered, “Which sounds good right now.” 

Jonghyun saw his chance, “Why don't I treat you to a cup of hot chocolate for making you fall? Come on, my treat.”

Changhyun finally Jonghyun's rosy cheeks and chuckled. “Sure, you lead the way and I'll follow.”

He watched as Jonghyun nodded and picked up his skateboard, waiting until Changhyun moved his papers into one hand so he could slip a hand into his pocket. It was a bit weird having the guy who hit him treat him to some hot chocolate but it was a bonus that he was cute.
