D-1 before the next wave

The base is busier than the usual, people running here and there preparing for the upcoming battle. All weapons are being checked, so does the user. Everyone is getting nervous as they didn't know what really awaits them tomorrow. Everyone is worried about the new threat and still haven't figure it out how to defeat them without have to take a high risk of losing someone important in the military. There is one hope that they have now, the new weapon, the link bracelet. if today's test result going well, they can at least feel relieved for a bit that they have something more powerful to fight against the new threat.

BoA already standby in the weapon testing room, waiting for the others to arrive while she keeps on analyzing the video from the previous encounter. she's looking for the weak spot of the creature, she take down several notes for her strategy. The door slowly opened as Hyoyeon, Sunny and several scientist who work on the project come along with them. Taeyeon and Tiffany come not so long after that. as they have gathered in the weapon testing room, BoA turned off the video, ready to talk to them.

"Alright, thank you all for coming. let's just get straight to the test. Please explain what is the changes on the weapon, Hyoyeon if you may" BoA moved a bit to the side to let Hyoyeon explain the new updates

"we have manage to modified the weapon into two modes like Taeyeon and Tiffany suggested yesterday. So later on when you wear the link bracelet, what it will do is going to the first mode, which only connect both of your magic cores and stabilize the flow so it will produce a balance output. The second mode is the weapon's mode where your weapons ability will be combined all together, focusing all of your magic flow in one ultimate blast, in this case, Taeyeon and Tiffany has chosen a bow and arrow which will appear according to the magic concentration. The blast impact will rely on how much magic you put as an input to this bracelet, but you can only channel 85% of your magic power to that attack or the bracelet will break. it's 85% so you still can project a barrier after the blast if it doesn't really work and you still can use what you have left to at least make another attack using your individual weapon. that is all, let's begin the test" Hyoyeon smiled and walks towards Taeyeon and Tiffany to put the bracelet on their wrist

The synchronization process of connecting their magic cores becoming faster than yesterday, they can also stabilize their magic core easier. as they already fly steadily with their own weapon, BoA instruct them to take an attack simulation to see how well the bracelet help them in using their individual weapon. As the simulated dark creatures came towards them, Tiffany start shooting with her weapon and she can make a direct hit that passing through the creatures and also demolished the one behind it. Her shooting power is increasing. a huge dark creature jumps towards Taeyeon, ready to indulge her, Tiffany looking towards Taeyeon about to dash towards her position so she can make a shield in front of her but Taeyeon deploy a huge shield just as Tiffany always do and manage to flip over the huge dark creature. Tiffany stopped in the middle of her way to go to Taeyeon and they both smile at the sensation of the power they shared within. They finish the test within seconds and still in a good shape without any sign of exhaustion. BoA analyze their magic core and she gave a smile and thumbs up.

"First mode, Stable and Success!" Everyone cheered out loud in happiness, knowing that they will have more power to face the dark creatures tomorrow "Second mode, Testing now. Please go to the testing field outside" Taeyeon and Tiffany obliged and fly outside to the testing field, facing the open sea. "for safety purpose, everyone else please stay inside the observing room. Taeyeon, Tiffany, you're permitted to use the second mode"

"Yes Mam! SECOND MODE, ENGAGE!" Taeyeon and Tiffany said in unison

Taeyeon and Tiffany's wings grew bigger and their eyes are glowing bright white. BoA set up a Target on the sea that is especially made from a material that will be as hard as the creature's armor. She then told the two to shot the target, maximizing the power they have. Taeyeon and Tiffany  concentrating their magic on the bracelet as a bow slowly appears in between them, an arrow with a shape of a white blade appears attached to the bow, ready to be shot. Tiffany and Taeyeon pulled the string, eyeing on the target that has been set for the test as they keep channeling their magic to the bracelet

"Maximum Capacity has been reached, ready for release" the bracelet informed. Tiffany and Taeyeon release the blade arrow towards the target directly on the heart of the dummy creature. a blinding and powerful shot literally fly straight to the target and the sea was split into two parts for 10km away from them, leaving no trace of the dummy at all. Taeyeon and Tiffany panting as they waited for the light to subside and see if they manage to demolished the target.

"Target not sighted. Second mode stable and success!" Taeyeon and Tiffany's wing immediately shrunk and they're going back to first mode right away panting heavily but a satisfied smile carved in their faces. A loud cheers can be heard echoing all over the safety room. Tiffany and Taeyeon fly back slowly to the weapon testing room. A large group of people immediately congratulates them for their success. BoA smiled happily to the success, she closed her eyes for a bit to rested her eyes, she leaned herself on the wall.
