Jiwoo really wished she had stayed in bed all day today. But nope, instead she was sitting in a café with her friends, and her ex and her ex’s fiancee for breakfast. Could this day have gotten any worse?

“Yeah”, Jiwoo replies with her best smile.
“Yeah, he is her boyfriend!”
And the day keeps on getting worse.
“Oh, really?” Byunghun asks.
“Yeah, his name is Matthew and they have only just met!” Somin says.
She wants Somin to shut up and gives her a glare but Somin doesn’t get the hint. Instead Taehyung elbows Somin.
At least one of them has some sense.
“It must be serious if you are already taking him to weddings as your plus one”, Byunghun says.
“That’s sweet”, Sohyun, Byunghun’s fiancee say with a bright smile.

The breakfast date ends painfully for Jiwoo as Somin and Sohyun gush about the wedding. Somin says she hopes to get married soon too and gives Taehyung a meaningful look while he just blushes. Jiwoo has no plans of getting married. She sometimes thinks maybe she never will. But it wasn’t important to her to be looking for someone. She believed in fate and it would happen when it happens.
Thinking back though, she would have thought she would have been married by now.
