Jiwoo doesn’t sleep that night.

She tosses and turns in bed with the thoughts of the night’s events. She was in love with Matthew. And if only the night’s dilemma ended there. He had then proceeded to kiss her at the end of the night and it made her feel things. It made her get her hopes up. She kept on telling herself that it was a silly fantasy.

He didn’t feel the same.

He was still heart broken so there was no way.

But why did he kiss her like that?

Was it a heat of the moment thing?

Was it because he was feeling lonely?

Either way, there was no way he liked her romantically.

“Just sleep Jiwoo”

She tells her self and shuts her eyes tight.

She eventually falls asleep and wakes up feeling miserable still. She drags herself out of bed and walks into the kitchen.

She puts the kettle on to make a cup of tea when Taehyung stumbles out of Somin’s room.

“Morning”

Jiwoo just hums in reply.

“I saw you leaving with Matthew”, he says with a raised eyebrow at her.

“We only talked before he dropped me off home”, Jiwoo says simply.

Taehyung walks up to Jiwoo and examines her face.

“Why are you so close?” Jiwoo asks as she steps back.

“The two of you had that look on your faces last night”, he explains.

Jiwoo feels heat gather on her cheeks and Taehyung smirks.

“Did he make a move?”

“We just talked ok!”

“You are too defensive for me to believe you but whatever helps you sleep at night”, Taehyung says with a laugh and then steps away from her.

“We just talked about Hyuna”

“He really loves her”, Jiwoo says sadly.

“It’s hard to let go of your first love”, Taehyung says and he gently places a hand on Jiwoo’s shoulder.

“Don’t get dishearten though”, Taehyun says and lets go on her shoulder.

“What do you mean?”

“You love him don’t you? And don’t even deny it. I know that look on your face”, Taehyung says with a smile.

“I do not. And it doesn’t matter anyway, he obviously doesn’t feel the same”, Jiwoo argues.

“How many calories did you burn by jumping to that conclusion?”
