Nails: if someone likes you enough, their eye colour appears on your nails. If more than one person likes you enough, the rules remain the same, you just have some nails one eye colour and other nails another; whichever crusher likes you more claims more nails if there is an uneven amount of nails divided between the crushers. 

"Crusher": term of someone who likes another strong enough that their eye colour appears on said other's nails.

"Host": term of someone who is liked by another enough that said other's eye colour appears on their nails.

Eye colour: eye colour changes depending on one's mood, be it becoming more in-depth or clouding over. Since this occurs, the nail colour on the host changes along with the eye of the crusher. 

Dark Pink: if the crusher decides to never reveal their feelings, the host's nails will turn a dark pink until they take notice, and then all colour disappears. This occurs more often than any other effect. 

White: if the crusher decides to reveal their feelings, the host's nails will turn a white until the crusher reveals themselves, to which afterwards all colour disappears.

Gold: Currently unknown what it signifies.

Focus: if the crusher reveals their feelings, and the white on the nails of the host disappears, that doesn't mean the crusher no longer loves the host, so why does all colour disappear? It is thought that colour disappears from nails once the host knows who their crusher is. Therefore, if the host concentrates enough, they can make the colour of their crusher appear on their nails once more, as long as said crusher still likes them.

Jimin: Host of two crushers, them being Taehyung and Hoseok.

Hoseok: Crusher of Jimin, currently dating Taehyung.

Taehyung: Crusher of Jimin, currently dating Hoseok.

Namjoon: Crusher of Seokjin, Host of Seokjin, currently dating Seokjin.

Seokjin: Crusher of Namjoon, Host of Namjoon, currently dating Namjoon.

Yoongi: Host of an unknown crusher.

Jungkook: Possible host.

Dreams: It is thought that host and dreamer are not only connected physically by the eye and nail but also mentally by dreams. Therefore, if either slips into REM during sleep, the other will also experience the dream. If both do so, the dreams combine and interact with one another. However, if the crusher or host sleeps and has a dream while the other is awake, it will not affect the other (because they are connected by subconscious, not consciousness).

It took a large amount of banging before anyone opened the door, and by the time it finally swung open, Yoongi's knuckles were aching. Nonetheless, he stood his ground. "I want to speak to the man of the household."

"You're looking at him," the man replied in a gruff voice. The elder's eyes scanned over Yoongi's frame, judging the way he held himself and dressed. Clearly dissatisfied, Kim pierced his lips and turned up his head. "What could you be wanting my acquaitence for?"

Yoongi, offended by the man's distaste, straightened his back and spoke in a firm tone. "I want to talk to you and your wife about your son, sir."

"My son?"

"Yes, sir. Seokjin, sir."

Kim waited a moment, seeing if the child would back down as he stared into his eyes. But he didn't, so the father have a short exhale before stepping aside, allowing the two boys entry. "Find your way to the living room and sit on the shortest couch. I'll fetch my wife, and we'll talk. But I doubt there's much to say, so don't get your hopes up."

Jungkook, having remained quiet and feeling self conscious, followed Yoongi inside the large house. He was picking at the gold painted on his nails nervously as he looked at his surroundings, taking in how neatly everything looked despite the amount of packing boxes scattered everywhere. 

Yoongi stepped into one of the largest rooms in the house, equipped with four couches and two television stands holding up a giant TV over a small, fake fireplace. The room was decorated with a pale aesthetic, statues and pictures of landscapes painting the room in a formal manner. Yoongi didn't like it; it felt more like a mueseum than an actual house.
