Taekwoon’s back arched dangerously as a loud scream tore it’s way from his throat. He dropped heavily to his knees and his eyes rolled wildly in his skull. Suddenly, he was thrown forwards, forehead hitting the floor as he writhed and bucked and twisted, trying to get away from whatever force was causing this. 
Ravi stood, eyes wide with horror, unable to move. He was paralysed. Not again. “T- Taekwoon...”

The boy slammed his hands down on the floorboards, splintering them under his fingers as he staggered to his feet, his struggle having ceased. Ravi felt his toes curl as he saw the dilated pupils, the sharpened canines; the way the silver crucifix round the boy’s neck was beginning to burn and melt the flesh on Taekwoon’s exposed chest. 

Before he could react, the demon was flung backwards, back hitting the wall behind him with a deafening crack and dust raining down on him from the cieling above. He cried out as he landed in a heap on the floor.

Taekwoon came forward and grabbed him by the throat, lifting him up and squeezing painfully. He didn’t seem to notice the smoke eminating from his scorching flesh.
