After 2 months coma, Jessica wakes up to unfamiliar place and people around her. They looking at her with teary eyes

“Who are you guys?” she asking and frown

A middle age woman is looking at her then she smile “Baby, I am your mother and this is your dad”

“Okay”

Mr. Jung turn to a doctor beside him “Doctor, how long her amnesia will take over her?”

“I can’t guarantee sir but it is temporary so as long as you all help her to gain her memory back, it won’t take long. However, don’t force her to remember it. Take it slow and whenever she encountered with something she used to see or somewhere she familiar with or someone she know, she may get massive headache. Be extra careful on it. The memory might be come and go so help her to gain it”

“Okay doctor”

“That’s all for now sir, I take my leave now”

“Alright, thank you doctor” the parents said before the doctor left the room

“Dad, mom why did I end up here?”

“Sweetie, you involve in accident months ago and you lost your memories” Mrs. Jung said

“That’s mean I don’t know anything about me”

“Yes dear, but don’t worry we will help you to remember everything” Mr. Jung said

“Thank you dad” Jessica smile to her father

“Someone will come here and she will help you with your memory” Mrs. Jung stated to her daughter

“Who is it mom?”

“Your childhood friend, she is on her way here”

“Okay”

Few minutes later, a girl around Jessica age arrived at the ward. She looked so pretty in baby blue blouse with black skinny jeans. Her hair is colored red that make her breathtakingly beautiful

“Hi mom, dad” she greet Mr. Jung and Mrs. Jung. Jessica confused when she heard the girls call her parents with mom and dad. She wondered if they are family members or at least so close with each other

“Hi Tiffany”

“Sorry mom, I stuck in traffic jammed that’s why I take a bit longer”

“It’s okay Tiff; we understand that you’re busy. It’s good enough that you can spare time for our baby”

“Remember to take care of her” Mr. Jung said with meaningful stare

“Yes dad, I will” Tiffany nods her head

Jessica just stared at them blankly. She don’t have idea what they are talking about but from what she heard, Tiffany could be someone close to her and her family

“Baby, me and your dad will go out for a while. Tiffany will stay here with you, okay?” Ms. Jung caressed Jessica hair softly

“Okay mom”

After the elder exit the room, Tiffany takes a sit on the bed beside Jessica

“Hi Jessi” Tiffany smile warmly

“Jessi?” she puzzled

“Your name is Jessica, you mom don’t tell you?”

Jessica shake her head slowly “No”

“Maybe they left it to me” Tiffany sighs inaudibly

“Are you someone close to me?”

“Yes, we’re really close to each other and we meet since diapers. When you’re 15 years old, your family move back to Korea and you never contact me anymore after few months”

Jessica suddenly feel bad “Sorry for that”

“It’s okay, I don’t mind though”

“You will help me to get back my memory, right?”

“Of course, I will do anything for you”

“Thanks Tiffany”

“Steph, call me Steph because my real name is Stephanie. You give me nickname Steph and I call you Jessi”

“Okay then” Jessica smile happily. At least she meet someone who she can trust and know her since she is little girl

Meanwhile, Tiffany always keep in her mind that Mr. Jung and his wife told her not to say anything about Jessica’s Korean name and her past relationship. She can tell her everything but not her relationship with certain someone

“Jessi, do you feel better now?”

Jessica closed her eyes for a while before answer the question “I don’t know. There is something keep playing in my mind and my heart feel like I need something or someone. Things feel blank now”

“Don’t force yourself to remember stuff. We will take it slow, alright? Don’t burden your mind”

“Okay” Jessica nods blankly

It’s true that there is her mind keep thinking of something or someone. She feels like she waiting for someone to come but she don’t know what is it. It makes her really confuse with what happen.

Jessica wake up from her sleep as she decide to take a nap for a while. Her parents and Tiffany go out to work but Tiffany told her that she will come as quick as she can so that she is not alone in her room. Almost a week passed, Tiffany treat her really nice. They grow fond with each other and Jessica concluded that Tiffany is talkative and bubbly. Every lunch time, Tiffany will come and they eat together then after work, she will go straight to the hospital to see Jessica. Since her work hour is flexible, she will appear anytime when she is free

On the bed, Jessica keeps thinking about her dream a while ago. In her dream, she saw herself running around the park with a girl but she can’t see that girl face. It still blurry so she can’t figure it out. They are playing happily like they own the entire park. The girl definitely not Tiffany since that girl is shorter than her while she and Tiffany have same height. When they girl almost turn around, Jessica wake up from her sleep. She believe that the girl in her dream is someone close to her

Jessica back from her own world when she heard the door shut and there is Tiffany walk to her with smile

“Hi Jessi”

“Hi” Jessica beaming shortly

“How are you today?” Tiffany sit on the chair beside the bed

“I’m boring here alone” Jessica pouting cutely

Tiffany chuckle “Sorry sweetie, I’m a bit busy today but I will make it up to you tomorrow”

“Really?”

“Yes, I take a day off so I’m yours tomorrow” Tiffany grin

Jessica also smiling ear to ear “Can you take me out tomorrow?”

“I don’t think doctor will allow you to go out”

“I mean to the garden or somewhere outside of this room. It has been a while since I breathe fresh air. I’m sick smelling meds here”
