Camp AlpineCHAPTER 4

The door suddenly pulled open, as I raised my hand to knock. A short boy with light brown, slightly spiked hair stood in the door frame. It was the boy that had apologized to me earlier.
“Oh hello! You must be my cabin-mate this year. Come in! There’s no need to knock. My name is Kim Minseok. It’s my third year here at camp.” He shuffled over to the end of a bed and started ruffling through a bag.
“I-I’m Kim Jisoo. It’s my first year. Sandeul, at the welcome table, said that it’s just going to be the two of us sharing the cabin,” I said, trying not to be awkward.
“Yeah, Chanyeol was supposed to be here, but he’s traveling abroad with his family instead. He had to cancel,” he told me.

“So wait, you don’t know anything about the camp then?” Minseok asked with surprise.
“Nope. Mom talked to the mom a friend who has been here and signed me up. She said I needed to reinvent myself, meet new friends, yada, yada,” I said with an eye roll. “You wouldn’t happen to know if I can get Netflix around here anywhere do ya?”
He laughed. Why did everyone keep laughing when I was being totally serious? “Jisoo, you’re at camp. There’s one TV in the commons. It’s got a total of twenty channels. They’re all local stations.”
“Just point me in the direction of the lake. I’m ready to drown,” I muttered under my breath.
I knew my roommate heard me based on the light laugh that left his mouth. At least he seemed nice. He didn’t seem as clingy as Gongchan, which I was very thankful for. If I was
