He can't see anything. He asked himself where he was. He can hear the sound of something dripping in a bag. Like a dripping water. He tried to move his body but he felt like someone is hugging him. He tried to move his left arm but his shoulder made a pain. He groaned silently. The felt something soft lying on his neck. It had a strawberry scent. He loved the smell. The something soft somehow felt like strands of hair. 

He opened his eyes slowly. He saw a white ceiling above him. He moved his eyes across the room. He saw two figures lying on the sofa. They were Chaeyoung and Mina. Chaeyoung had his arms securely wrapped around Mina's waist while Mina was sleeping on him. She made Chaeyoung as her bed. 

Then he moved his arms to another person beside him. That explains the strands of hair that was lying on his neck. Somebody was sleeping next to him while hugging him. That explains why he can't move. He took off his gas mask. He can't feel his left arm. He saw his left arm had a white cast on it. 

It felt like his arm was wrapped with cement because he can barely move it. 

He coughed to clear his throat. 

"Tzuyu?" the person beside him woke up 

"Sana" Tzuyu smiled 

Chaeyoung heard his cough and woke up. He nudged gently on Mina to wake her up.  

"You're awake" Sana stared into his eyes 

"My shoulder. Ouch" he gripped onto his left shoulder 

"Don't move your left arm. The doctor said you're gonna be fine" said Sana 

"Hey buddy" Chaeyoung walked to the side of the bed with Mina

"What's up?" Tzuyu smiled 

Sana climbed down the bed. 

"You made me sleep in the hospital again" Chaeyoung joked 

Tzuyu laughed. Then the doctor came in with the nurse. 

"Tzuyu shi. Great to see you. I'm your fan" the doctor smiled 

"Thanks doc" Tzuyu chuckled 

"As you can see your arm has been casted. We will provide you the hang cast" 

"When can I be released, doc? I have something important to do" Tzuyu looked at Sana lovingly 

Sana knew the face. Tzuyu wanted to meet her family to tell about their marriage. 

"We can wait Tzuyu ah. Your health is important for now" Sana caressed his hand using her thumb 

"I don't want to wait. Plus, we still need to set the date" Tzuyu smiled 

"Easy there tiger" Sana giggled 

Chaeyoung had his arms wrapped around Mina's shoulder. They smiled at the Satzu couple. 

"Wow I guess you both are tying the knot? Congratulations!" said the doctor 

"Thank you doc. So when can I be released?" 

"Well if that's the case, you are free to go by tonight. Under one condition" the doctor grinned 

"What is it?" Tzuyu asked 

"You have to sign my jersey. I bought it online last week and it has your number on the back" the doctor laughed 

"Yeah sure hahaha" Tzuyu laughed. The rest of them laughed along. 

Suddenly they heard a knock on the door. The nurse opened the door and let the people in. 

"Tzuyu shi" 

It was the police who shot him. Behind him was his Chief. 

"Officer" Tzuyu straightened his back with the help of Sana 

The police took his hat off and held it.  

"Tzuyu shi. I would like to apologize for I have mistaken the wrong person last night" 

Then the Chief slapped his back. 

"My action was too early to let go of the bullet. I was trained to take a quick action. I did not aim at you for you were not armed with a weapon later. Due to the close distance between you and the woman, it came to my weakness which I have trouble aiming when there are two obstacles" the police lowered his head down 

The Chief continued his words, "I apologize Tzuyu shi. He just started the job 3 months ago. Let's just say that last night was his first case" 

"Dude you guys are insane!" Chaeyoung burst

"Chaeyoung. Chill" Tzuyu said. 

"Chill? Tzuyu because of him you got hurt!" said Chaeyoung 

"He was just doing his job" Tzuyu replied 

  "Yeah look what happened now. Your shoulder is hurt and you can't play for the New Years Tournament"  

"What?!" Tzuyu was surprised 

The doctor who was standing beside the police said, " Tzuyu shi. I'm afraid you have to withdraw yourself from the game. Also from any basketball trainings until your shoulder is fully cured" 

"Okay this " said Tzuyu 

"See I told you. So can I punch him?" Chaeyoung held his fist and got ready to punch the police

"Chae you can't punch a cop" said Mina

"Please accept my apology Tzuyu shi" the police kneeled down  

"Hey come on bro. This is not cool. Come on stand up" said Tzuyu 

The police stood up, "I can't leave this hospital until you accept my apology Tzuyu shi. If not, your fans out there will bash me for good" 

"Yeah and his biggest fan here is upset also" Sana glared 

"Stop glaring. You're attracting me" Tzuyu tap her chin 

Sana smiled. 

"Okay officer I forgive you. But Chief, I don't know how you let your rookies, no offense, to do the job but please take a full attention on them. So everyone else can be safe" said Tzuyu 

The police and the Chief bid thank you and goodbye to Tzuyu later. After that, the doctor and the police left the room.

Mina went out to the toilet while Chaeyoung continued his sleep. He was tired from the tragedy scene last night. He was also tired helping Sana do something early in the morning that day. 

"Yes. Okay. Thanks Coach. Alright I'll still be there to support them. See ya. Oh Coach! Happy New Year! Haha bye" Tzuyu hung up
