A cheque was passed on a table, a slim hand was retreated back and folded on the chest of a person who just passed a cheque to girl standing on the opposite side of the desk .

" Please take it and leave"

" But "

" No negotiation"

" Please give me a chance, I promise I won't tell anyone"

" I'm afraid that's not gonna happen"

" Ms. Jessica, please"

A person who was called by her name glared at the girl in front of her, her eyes were cold and merciless , and Yebin could look at them any longer , there were something in Jessica's eyes that were so powerful yet scary , as much as her situation now

" I don't want Hyomin to hate you"

Jessica pulled out her last card and Yebin was taken back

"Don't you think I know you was trying to do that night, Hyomin wouldn't be happy to find out ?" Jessica smirked

" I ..." Yebin was speechless

" Don't be a fool, take a cheque , it will cover you for a while until you get a new job, go as far as you can, you don't belong here" Jessica ended her conversation

Yebin is spinning a pen boringly, she is at a nurse office in a hotel, just reported to her duty and not much for her to do. Nothing new than prescribing medication to staff and giving away sick leave authorization paper, not much of a challenge and she starts to think if she made a right choice to come to work here , and island country which has similar to her homeland , she feels homesick and misses everything back in Korea , the food , the language , the weather and most of all , a person she can't get over yet , even though that person will never know about it.

Seeing Hyomin again in was like a blessing to her, she never thought she would ever meet her again, and getting that close to Hyomin made Yebin realize her heart still skip its beat for her.

" I'm jealous of that person who is next to you, she is so lucky " Yebin feels self-pity

Looking at her, she has nothing, let alone imagining herself in Jiyeon's place , nothing comes close and Yebin would never wish for that, all she wanted , was to be able to see Hyomin walking past her and greeting her like she did when she was still working in that house. Yebin can't blame anyone , not even Jessica who kicked her out , it was fated for her to happen to witness what she shouldn't have seen.

Yebin stood stoned ,and was shocked when Jessica turned around and saw her , same as Yebin, Jessica was totally shocked too , but she managed to be calm.

" Who told you to come in?" Jessica snapped coldly

" I .. want ed to check on you" Yebin was stuttering

" I didn't ask for that" Jessica had that angry look that made Yebin scared

" I'm sorry" Yebin stepped back from Jessica's room

" Meet me in 15 minutes in my study room, DO NOT talk to anyone, and leave my room now" Jessica commanded

" Yes" Yebin got thrilled

She swore she didn't have a hallucination and it was real when she saw Jessica walking out of her bathroom, perfectly balanced, like she was never on the wheelchair at all and there was nothing resembled a person who couldn't walk.

Yebin promised not to tell anyone, and she still keeps promise until today , which leaves a hug question in her mind unanswered.

Hyomin smiles at the scene before her. Tiffany just put flower behind Jessica's ear, her sister looked annoyed at first but she gave in, it's cutest thing she has ever seen in a while. Hyomin feels thankful to Tiffany who makes an atmosphere in this house a bit brighter, she doesn't only play her part as a nurse but also a good companion to Jessica when Hyomin is not around, and Jessica seems less lonely now.

" Hi Tiffany" Hyomin greets as they are making their way back inside the house

" Hi Hyomin , you look cute today" Tiffany compliments

" Thank you" Hyomin checks on herself, she dresses up in casual clothes, fine match of light pink t-shirt and white jeans.

"I guess you mean her pink top?" Jessica says sarcastically

"Overall, Hyominie looks pretty in them" Tiffany smiles, Jessica frowns at Hyomin's new nickname

"By the way, where are you going thought you don't have to go to the office today?" Jessica asks

" I'm checking on couple things on work, then I'll meet a friend" Hyomin answers

" Thought you would be going on date" Tiffany teases

" Ah, no" Hyomin smiles dryly

" Are you coming back from lunch?" Jessica asks

" Maybe not, but I'll see you at dinner for sure" Hyomin informs, before bending over to give Jessica a peck on her cheek.

" I'll get going now, bye Jess , bye Tiffany" Hyomin turns around and leaves

Jessica watches as Hyomin leaving, she is hiding a feeling that no one gets to see

" Do you want to go to study room ?" Tiffany asks because they were talking about a new book earlier

" No, I want to take a rest, I'll go to my room" Jessica answers

" Eh ?" Tiffany is confused for a sudden instruction " Alright, I'll take you there " Tiffany offers

" It's okay , can you leave me alone for a while ?" Jessica asks

" Let's me know if you need something" Tiffany says

Tiffany doesn't understand why Jessica suddenly turns downcast, but she figures that she might need to think about something and need time alone, so as she wishes Tiffany leave her alone.

Jessica made her way to her room and closes the door, when she is all alone, Jessica heaves a long sigh. She gets out of the wheel chair and walks to her bed.

She hates herself for being like this, she keeps burying such nasty feeling at the bottom of her mind, but a hidden fear always triggers every time she feels like she is losing people in her life, either physically or spiritually, it's a hurtful hunting feeling she can't shake it off. Jessica reaches for her iPad, checking on email she last opened, and views those pictures again.

Jessica had a feeling that Hyomin might be seeing someone, which it wasn't very hard to figure out , Hyomin is not a good liar and it always shows in her eyes . It was Jessica that chose to ignore it and bought herself sometimes, she just wanted her sister around and never leaves her.

Personally, Jessica is already very overprotective over her sister and the love she has for her is never a doubt and as a big sister, she knows she should be happy for her little sister to find her happiness, but there is a voice at her deepest mentality telling her that once Hyomin finds someone , she's gonna leave her like other did , a fear Jessica could never overcome . Also, part of her belief and past experience convince her that nobody is faithful and she doesn't want Hyomin to be hurt, like she was hurt before , and it was proved right when Eunjung, a person who had shown how much she loved Hyomin, still chose to walk away , and worse now that the latter even has a heart to hurt her sister with such blackmail.

Jessica slides her finger through a brunch of photos taken of Hyomin and Jiyeon at the cafe, she smiles seeing how happy Hyomin was smiling in the photos but then her smile fades away, when Jessica remembers all information she has about Jiyeon and her family

 A player ,  trouble maker , unpleasant past, rebel in family and a family with dark business involvement.

Jessica shakes her head at all things found about Jiyeon, those are not what Jessica is looking for in someone who is going to date her sister

" How can I trust a person like you to lay my sister in your hand? Jessica shakes her head and puts down her iPad

Jiyeon is holding on the steering wheel tightly as if her life depends on it , a car speed meter is pointing at 160 km/h , and is going up as a car behind them is following closely . Jiyeon is concentrating on a road ahead but she gets little distracted worrying about the person sitting next to her

" Are you scared?" Jiyeon asks

" A bit" Hyomin's hand grabs on her seatbelt strap

" I'm sorry, I shouldn't have put you in this" Jiyeon regrets

" What are you talking about? I'm the one who insisted coming with you" Hyomin says

" If only I didn't agree" Jiyeon talks back

" We're gonna make it right ?" Hyomin feels cold sweat

" I believe" Jiyeon says confidently

" They are getting closer now " Hyomin looks back and warns

" Hold on tight" Jiyeon instructs before stepping on accelerator and Hyomin feels like the car could fly .

Hyomin holds her breath as she feels the car is moving in lighting speed, her stomach all hurt from getting nervous, for the first time in her life, she has ever seen car going at almost 180 km/h , Jiyeon crushes on accelerator , hoping to lose a car behind , at the same time she focuses on the curve road ahead . Jiyeon professionally is swerving the car left and right, Hyomin can't imagine herself for doing that , she notices that Jiyeon's knuckle turns white from holding on steering wheel tightly as if her hands could melt into it, now all she can do is to have faith in Jiyeon that she is gonna make it , because the car could lose control easily at this speed .

" We're almost there" Jiyeon says , Hyomin looks ahead and there she sees a guy waving something and in a speed of light , they past him.

Hyomin releases her breath, the car slows down and puts into a complete stop. She didn't realize Jiyeon has opened the door for her until she feels a touch from Jiyeon's hand holding on her hand leading her out of the car, once she gets out of the car , Jiyeon beams happily before throwing her a joyful hug.

" We win!" Jiyeon hugs Hyomin rocking her in her arms, the race is over.

" Yes , you win" Hyomin smiles in Jiyeon's arms rocking her left and right in excitement

Hyomin is waiting for Jiyeon to change back to her casual clothes after the competition was over. This is something Hyomin never knew about Jiyeon before. When Jiyeon asked her to meet at a supercar racing track , Hyomin thought the latter was going to bring her to watch a car racing , which she was fine with that as long as she could spend sometimes with Jiyeon.
