Chapter 11
On GuardSection 2.8: The client has the right to opt out of the contract
Dongwook slammed the gate, storming off with rage.
She never expected this.
All she wanted a nice clean break up.
The nasty remarks Dongwook said about her had no effect on her but putting Top’s life on danger inflicted wounds everywhere.
Flashback
“Minho broke up with me,” Bom told her friends during their usual meet ups.
Her three friends watched her sulk in her seat. She was no longer upset. She was just tired of relationships in general. One after another people kept tossing her like garbage.
“What was his reason?” Chaerin spoke up first.
“The same old reason…I’m out of his league,”
“That’s true though,” Jiyong said his input.
“Why are people scared me of me?” Bom sighed with frustration.
“That’s it! From now on I’m only going to date people who are richer, smarter and taller than me,”

Bom hung her head low as she walked back to her home. Despite her friend’s attempts to cheer her up she felt dead inside.
All she could think about was her failed relationship.
She didn’t understand.
She genuinely thought the relationship was going well.
She shut her eyes as she tried to get Minho's voice out of her head.
“I’m sorry Bom…I feel so uncomfortable around you…I can’t be myself…I feel so inferior with you…I want to be in a relationship where I'm in control and protecting my girlfriend,”
“What a ty reason,” Bom muttered.
She had enough.
People only knew her as the 'chaebol’s daughter'.
They don't know the real Bom.
She tried hard to fit in with everyone else.
She studied with her own merits and yet people still believed her high marks were from special privileges.
Bom ran back to her home. She just wanted to be locked away in her own free world. Her relationship didn’t even last that long and yet it was toying with her feelings.
She's still human.
She just wanted someone who loves her for who she is.
Her mom opened the door to see her daughter almost in tears.
Bom leaped into her arms of her mom.
Her mom her hair as if she was a toddler again.
“Bom…stop dating your useless classmates. They just want our money… why don’t you give Dongwook a try,” She whispered into her ears.
“I don’t think I’m ready,”
“Don’t worry. Dongwook’s family is so powerful that not one person can hurt you.”

“How are things going with Dongwook?” Dara asked Bom.
“It’s good, 6 months and I haven’t been dumped.” Bom laughed.
“Is he treating you well?” Chaerin asked.
“Yes, he takes me to expensive restaurants and buys a lot gifts for me,”
Suddenly Bom’s phone buzzed.
“Omo, it’s him!” Dara squealed.
Bom hushed her friends before picking up his call.
“Hey Bom, we need to talk.”
“He’ll be down in a minute,” One of the maids informed Bom.
Bom waited inside his house, wondering what he wanted to talk about. She couldn’t have just jinxed herself right? She just celebrated 6 months without been dumped. She held onto her handbag with worries.
“Bom!” Dongwook walked down the stairs.
“What’s up Dongwook?”
“I’ll be moving to Japan,”
Bom stood there in silence as Dongwook explained the situation.
She was never fond of long distance relationships.
How could she even trust him?
God knows, what he’ll be doing in Japan.
He could be clubbing with other girls and she wouldn’t know.
However, she can see the passion in his eyes. She couldn’t take his dreams away from him.
