Chapter 47
TWICE AcademyThe gang was watching a movie when Tzuyu’s phone vibrated.
‘Weird.’ the gang thought since Tzuyu rarely gets some text except from them.
Tzuyu got her phone in the pocket and read the text.
From: Mom
Let’s meet at the ****** Restaurant. Tonight at 7PM. See you, dear.
“What is it, Tzuyu?”
“Oh. It’s my mom.”
“Oh.”
The others went back to watching but Tzuyu couldn’t really concentrate.
‘What does she want this time, though?’
“You okay?” Sana whispered to Tzuyu
“Yeah, honey. I’m fine. How about you?”
“I’m okay. We’re here all-day, you know.”
“I’m just asking.”
“Sure, honey.” Sana said and kissed Tzuyu’s cheek

It was already 6PM and Tzuyu is already dressed to leave.
“You’re leaving?” Jihyo asked
“Yeah. I’ll be back.”
“Should I left some for you for dinner?”
“No. I’m having dinner with my mom.”
“I see. Take care, maknae.”
“Okay, unnie. See you.”
Tzuyu got out and rode her car. She drove towards the restaurant and knows that her mom is already there. Knowing her mother, she’s sure that the lady will be early for atleast 30 minutes.
She parked her car and entered the restaurant.
“Have you made some reservation, ma’am?”
“I think so. I’m here for Mrs. Chou. I’m Chou Tzuyu.”
“Oh, I see. Welcome, Ms. Chou. Your mother is already waiting in your table. It’s in the VIP class. Let me guide you there.”
“Thank you.”
Tzuyu followed the staff as they entered another place inside the restaurant which is the VIP class. She saw her mother and the staff excused.
“Hey, mom.” Tzuyu said as she kissed her Mom’s cheeks.
“Hello, dear.”
“May I ask why am I here?”
“Let’s order first, shall we? I miss having to bond with you.”
“Yeah. Me, too.”
“Okay.”
They looked at the menu and ordered their choices.
“So…how’s your stay at the Kims’?”
“It’s fine. It’s good, actually. All the unnies treat me well since I’m their maknae.”
“Is Chaeyoung alright, too?”
“She’s more than alright. She’s really happy every day.”
“That’s glad to hear. I would love to visit sometimes but you know how busy I am.”
“Yeah. Don’t force yourself, mom.”
“I’m alright, Tzu. I’m still young, you know.” Tzuyu’s mom said as she pouted which cause Tzuyu to laugh.
“Whatever you say, mom. How’s Jieqiong unnie and dad?”
“They miss you. They’re still in China. You should videocall them sometimes, dear.”
“It’s fine. Unnie always call every midnight. I’m starting to think that she’s maybe a vampire.”
Tzuyu’s mother chuckled “She’s not. If she is that means you are, too.”
“That’s not even funny.”
“Yeah.”
“But are you okay in the house alone, mother?”
“Ofcourse. I’m always busy with the company and your father videocall me almost every hour.”
“I see. That must be annoying.”
“Slight.”
Tzuyu laughed again. Their food arrive and they ate.
“By the way, you’re asking why you’re here right?”
“Yes.”
“It’s because I’m telling you something.”
“Oh. What is it?”
“You’re getting married.”
Tzuyu choked on her food as she heard what her mom said
“I’m what?”
“You’re getting married. I’ve arranged everything.”
“What?”
“Your wedding is after your graduation ceremony. Your partner is older than you by 2 years.”
“Did my partner agree?”
“Not yet. Her father is still talking to her as we speak now.”
“Her?”
“Yes. I know you like girls.”
“But…”
“But what?”
“I’m already in a relationship.”
“YOU WHAT?”
“Yeah…”
“Why didn’t you tell me?”
“I…I couldn’t get the timing.”
Tzuyu’s mother combed her hair back.
“What should we do?”
“Cancel this arrange marriage.”
“What if your partner agree already?”
“Why would she agree? She haven’t seen me yet.”
“Because you’re perfect for each other. I wouldn’t pick someone who isn’t compatible with you. And when I saw her, I
