Nayoung was somewhat nicer than most demons, one could say. Fallen angels tended to be bitter, evil creatures that wanted to cause as much pain and destruction as possible. Nayoung wasn’t like that. Nayoung was nice, a little mean sometimes, but nice. Nayoung was a good angel. She worked well, helped a lot of people, did a lot of great things, but it was all gone in an instant and she was cast down to hell, where she stumbled into a group of girls who took her in, healed her wounds, and taught her what life was like in hell. Nayoung still had some angel tendencies about her. She wished they would go away, but they didn’t.

One day, Nayoung and Jieqiong had been out for lunch. There were two girls walking ahead of them, a tall one and a little one. The little one reminded Nayoung of a pug. When she told Jieqiong, the younger girl gasped and hit Nayoung’s arm, telling her not to say that. They kept walking and were about to walk into the college grounds, when Nayoung had a strange feeling.

“They’re in danger.” Nayoung suddenly said, before she began following the two girls again who were walking in another direction.

Jieqiong tried to pull Nayoung back, but she kept going, following them. Then a car pulled up next to the two and two men with knives got out and threatened them.

That’s when Nayoung stepped in.

She got into one of the men’s minds and started using her demonic powers for evil, something she had never done as she’d only ever been inside Jieqiong’s mind as an easy way of hiding. The man dropped to the floor and started having a seizure. The other man panicked and grabbed his friend, who suddenly him and started trying to stab him.

“Nayoung, stop it, you’re going to hurt him!” Jieqiong suddenly yelled.

Jieqiong was watching.

Nayoung suddenly stopped and left the man’s mind, returning to Jieqiong’s side. The other man pulled his friend into the car and they sped off.

The two girls turned around and stared at Nayoung and Jieqiong.

“What just happened?” The taller one asked.

The tiny one that looked like a pug was crying.

“Nothing.” Jieqiong said, before pulling Nayoung away as she began to scold her.

“Wait!” The taller girl yelled.

Nayoung and Jieqiong turned around again.

“Did you do that?” She asked Nayoung.

Nayoung nodded. “I did.”

“How?” The girl asked.

Nayoung shrugged. “I don’t know.”

The girl paused, before continuing. “I’m going to assume you did some crazy mind tricks, and that scares me, but you did just save our lives. I’m Doyeon, that’s Yoojung. Is there any way I can repay you for what you just did?”

“You don’t need to do anything.” Jieqiong said quickly. “Nayoung’s… A little unique. It’d be better if we just stayed as strangers—“

“Let’s get ice cream.” Nayoung suddenly said.

Jieqiong wanted to slap Nayoung.

A few minutes later and they were in an ice cream parlour. The smaller girl, Yoojung, had stopped crying by now and was talking to Nayoung along with Doyeon, both of them talking about how amazed they were by the fact Nayoung had saved their lives, they were both sure Nayoung had some psychic powers or something. Jieqiong was just sat in the corner, eating her ice cream quietly.
