Lee Taemin, a poor 19 year old who works at a coffee shop just to pay rent and feed his older sister. Jae Rin, a 24 year old woman who dates all the time and spends her little brothers money on unnecessary things. She helps at a wine bar for low payment. 

Taemin POV

"Jae!!! get in here and eat!!!!" I yelled. Jae Rin poked her head out of the bathroom, she shushed me harshly. I rolled my eyes and glared, she was talking to yet another guy on the phone. 

"Oh, no... that was nobody, yea, I'll meet you tomorrow night, bye!" She jumped into the room, her head in the clouds. I sat down and began eating. Jae soon followed.

"Taeminnie~" She cooed.

"Hm"

"Guess what?!" She nearly yelled.

"What?" i asked my mouth full of rice.

"I can pay for you to go to  college." I spit out my rice on the table, she made a disgusted look.

"Stop joking about that Jae, its not funny. You know how hard I work." I pouted.

"Taemin, I think I've found the right guy!" 

"Stop changing the subjec-"

"No! Really! He's rich and can pay for everything we could never have!"

"Stop Jae! Really! Stop, just stop it! You always do this!" I whined.

"We can go live with him, we can have a better life Taemin!" She just wouldn't stop. "he's, handsome, nice, kind and charming! he could be the older brother you never had!"

"I'm going out." I stated and threw my coat on and grabbed my bag.

"B-but-"

"We'll talk about this later." I seen Jae Rin sigh, then lower her head, then i left. Okay, I kinda stormed out of the small house...but *sigh* I really hope my sister doesn't get hurt again, she deserves better. I slung my bag over my shoulder and started my walk to the coffee shop.

Jae Rin POV

I looked down at my hand, it had a ring on it, I was going to tell Taemin that Minho had proposed to me, but he didn't stay long enough for me to get around to it. Taemin hasn't been the same since mom died. He never has that genuine smile that turns his eyes into crescents, or the sparkle in his eyes whenever he laughs. My poor taeminnie, when will you move on? Only if you met someone like I did. Someone who will make you smile. Taemin, when will you be back? 

I leaned my head back and sighed, then headed off to me and Taemin's shared room. I wish I was a better older sister to Taemin, only if I had a better job, I could have sent him off to college. Why do i always spend his hard earned money on useless items? I'm sorry Taemin, but now we will have a better life with Minho, we'll all live together as a happy family! Iglanced at the ring and smiled, closed my eyes then finally fell asleep.

Taemin POV

Why does she suddenly want us to go live with that man? Is there something she's not telling me? I can't believe this! Last time she went out with a guy, he used her, then just left like that. The other guy cheated on her. I feel sorry for my sister, but than jealous, because i've never loved soemone, not even a girl. I'm already 19, things just aren't right for me. I looked up to the dark sky, it was getting late. I kicked a rock and crossed an alleyway. Then I heard a car screech, and I fell to the ground, I felt a bad pain in my leg. I seen bright car headlights in my face, I'm not dead am I? I groaned and rolled over, papers were scattered all over the place because of my bag that fell to the street floor. I panicked and attempted to collect them, then i heard a car door slam closed and a guy ran over to me and kneeled, he stepped on my papers, but for some reason, i didn't mind. 

"Are you okay?" A deep voice asked. I looked up, alarmed then seen the most handsome man I ever laid eyes on. I mean...it was an awkward handsome...For me anyways, just because i thought he was relatively handsome, someone I could never match up to. He was dressed in a suit and had an expensive car. "Are you alright?" he asked again. I stood up and stumbled, he was ready to catch me, but I straightened myself up and nodded.

"I'm fine." I answered. 

"You're bleeding!" he calmy noticed and grabbed my elbow softly.

"It's okay." I reassured him and then bowed and turned to leave.

"W-wait! Where are you going? At least let me drive you!" 

"Really, its fine, you looked like you were in a hurry, I mean, you didn't see me after all." I stared at him in the eyes.

"I'm sorry, I was....distracted. You should have been watching where you were going!" he looked down.

"Me?!?! Just exactly who's the victim here!?" I yelled at him.

"I-I, fine! You're right! i was just-"

"Forget it, I have to go." I answered and then was about to leave until he grabbed my elbow.

"Really stop being so stubborn and just let me drive you!" He pulled me over to the front of the car and pointed down. "Don't forget your papers." Then he got in the car. I scoffed and bent down to pick my papers up. How could I have just forgotten these?? Maybe I was mad.... 

I shook off a weird feeling I had and then went around to the car and got in.

Minho POV

"Don't forget your papers." I pointed down and then got in my car. I took a deep breath and touched my chest, I listened to my beating heart, was i really that angry with him that my face had to heat up and my heart start to speed up? I shook the weird feeling I had off and tried to figure out why i was so distracted by him that I forgot to hit the brake. I was pulled from my thoughts when the car door opened and the young man got in.

Taemin POV

"Look I-" The man started to say.

"Look, whatever your name is, lets just put this behind us, okay?"

"Choi Minho."

"Huh?"

"My name, it's Minho."

"Oh...Lee Taemin." I awkwardly introduced myself. He just nodded.

"Where to?" he asked.

"Coffee shop." I answered.

It was an awkward ride, and I couldn't help but notice that Minho's knuckles kept tightening around the wheel, was he nervous? Maybe he has a meeting that he's late to. Then suddenly he spoke.

"Yah, why do you keep staring at me like that?"

"I don't know you look kinda nervous."

"Same to you." He glanced at me with a slight smirk, my eyes immediately went to his lips. I jumped and choked on my spit. "Whoa, i was just kidding, calm down."

"I-is it, hot in here?" My voice cracked as I said it. I looked away embarrassed.

"Yea, a little I guess. I could turn off the heater." He suggested.

"Yea, that'd be great." I looked out the window.

It took a few more minutes, but we finally arrived at the coffee shop.

I sighed and unlocked my seatbelt.

"Thanks Minho." I nodded to him and got out. I glanced at him once more before heading in the coffee shop, he looked deep in thought, then he nodded to me and left. I enetered into the dim lighted place and was greeted by a "hey! taemin!!!" I looked over to thecounter and spotted key, I smiled.

"Always in the coffee shop even out of work hours huh?" Jonghyun smirked, it reminded me of Minho I blushed.

"Wha! You're blushing! Is it becauseof that guy who brought you here?" he inspected me, i pushed him away.

"Whatever. I need to study if I want a full scholarship to get into college." I reminded him.

"Ah, right."

"Study hard! Taeminnie fighting!~" Onew raised his fist up. I smiled and left to the quiet corner in the shop. A few hours passed by, and Key soon was the only one left in the shop.

"Taemin, its closing time, are you gonna stay late again? or do you want me to stay here with you? Wait, is that blood?" he asked and rushed up to me and inspected my arm.

"Oh, its nothing, just got into an accident on the way here." I laughed.

"Ah~ I see, does it have to do with that guy?" he asked. I nodded.

"Oh-kayy." he said in english. I chuckled.

"You can go Key Umma, I'll see you tomorrow morning."I looked back to my studying. He smiled and ruffled my hair.

"I think I'll stay here until you leave, I'll make you hot chocolate." he went back to his station. I smiled, again grateful for key who stayed with me when i cried for my mom, or when I was lonely, he really is like my mother. I was having a hard time studying, my mind wandered to that rich arrogant jerk. hmm...he must have made me really mad to make me think about him at a time like this...really, really mad.
